how i can install rom for vario

i have vario ( t-mobile) and when i try to install new rom named :
Cingular_RUU_WIZARD_217_AKU22_Basic.exe
it give me message in my pc like contry code error
can any one give me the solotion for this problem plz

i think you should CID-unlock your device. Search this forum for CID unlock and you will probably find what you're looking for.

i need help with the rom update

i have the k-jam with t-mobile rom and i wont to update to i-mate rom but i get this massge " error[294]:invalid vender id
this update utility cannot be used for your pda phone. please check your update utility"
wat i need to do??

You're device is CID-locked. You have to CID unlock using the program Lokiwiz. Search this forum for "CID Unlock" and "Lokiwiz".

Help With CID-Unlock

Hi to all.
Mi Mteor have SPL2.05 and is application unlocked now.
The instructions says that i have to get hardSPL-1.40 in order to can CID-UNLOCK the device. Where i donwload it?
When i run the AUTO_Unlock_v3a.bat , the device no reboot in bootloader mode. Only get a blank screen.
Please, help me.

just read wiki and other posts here... it is still explained here...
you have to enter the bootloader a nother way.. because when using the normal cid unlock file you use a herm enterbl.exe ...
but i prefer to use sspl and not to supercid the device...

I read it. Perhaps i don´t understand everything, because english is not my primary language.
I see the are two metods to unlock the sim and CID. Supercid or SSPL.
I want to unlock the sim and update the rom.

for simunlock just look into the threads in the past here... (pages on bottom of forum) ... theres somewhere explained how...
maybe i have also entered some infos in wiki...
for updating rom the easiest way is to app unlock the phone (to launch unsigned apps -> wiki) and then copy the sspl files to phones root...
a *.lnk file a exe file and a rom file...
launch the lnk file and then start the update you want!! ...
with the sspl method your phone is for one! start and only for that one! supercided! so that means you can install any rom ... no matter what provider is the rom from..
also you can flash than cooked roms... with no cid inside... (like my german rom...)
but remember ... when flashing because what ever not work, and you cant boot the phone up to relaunch the files... you have a problem when you don't own a, in your case so far i can see, a Vodafon Shipped Rom for Breeze...
innocent here in forum has the problem... vodafon gives no shipped rom out...
maybe you can ask them from different sides .... my vodafon partner here in austria (a1) did not offer the breeze... so i can't ask them... (i work in the co company...)

first i unlock phone and how tools usage? after unlock dowload rom and upgrade?

no need to unlock or any thing...if u want to extend your storage then u use the tool but if u dnt want to then just upgrade...

which device are u using...there is no CID unlock for Himalaya Devices...

hi i choose Syed Ather's WM6 ROM for HIMA basic vesrion
no need extend space just download extaxct and goto bootloader mode and upgrade????????????????becasue i dont want extend space

i would prefer WM 6.1 ... as its the latest ..

did you finally unlock your sim/radio from your provider? you can read the tutorial in this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=223853
you don't need to upgrade your radio in flashing new roms!
unless after flashing new rom, you can't make a normal phone call..

does a G3 8125 wizard need to be unlocked....

does a G3 Cingular 8125 wizard need to be unlocked if i want to put the official at&t wm6 rom on it?
and could somebody explain how u would go about doing that, i've looked at all the guides, im still lost. thanks!

Yes a G3 8125 Needs to be unlocked and you'll find all the guides on the forum there are no better guides than those coz they are written by professionals. TC

step 1 download this file rar password is - scousemartin

step 2 - flash the button love rom inside the rar file you just downloaded
step 3- run lokiwiz to unlock your device. Once that is done you can flash any rom, you can flash the at&t rom or the xda o2 rom i have included in the rar file ( the o2 rom was put in there as it was for my own use)
If you flash any official rom ,you will need to CID unlock it with lokiwiz ,the next time you try to flash it, as the official roms will CID lock the device again.

NOT TRUE! Once a device is CID unlocked it remains like that permanently!
Unlock tools write "11111111" to the CID location while RUUs never touch it. Only with WST you can write any CID value to the area again.

still no luck, ive disabled the windows firewall like one of the guides on here said, i had an active sync connection as guest, i downloaded that rar file and ran the button rom, and still i get the error 260. after i start the rom it crashes active sync i hear the disconnect sound, then the phone turns off and i have to do the recovery thing. i havent seen any weird colors either, i've heard ppl get a three color screen or something. but mine just turns on and i have to take the battery out and try all over again

problem solved, i never realized that i still had my storage card in the phone, after i took it out everything went smooth
