After successfully installing the eOS.4.888.FiRe ROM, I noticed that while my keyboard works, the "!" and "@" above the "Q" and "W" aren't mapping correctly. So pressing "Q" or "W" correctly displays the keys. But pressing "Fn + Q" displays a "@" when I would expect a "!". And pressing "Fn + W" displays the "!" when I would expect a "@". This is just a minor issue, but is there a fix for this?
search for tilt keyboard fix. Install the cab. This is a very well known issue.

I've been trying to map the back button (delete key) on my hardware keyboard to my OK key so that I can navigate one-handed in PIE using my scroll wheel and my OK key. I'm using AE Button Plus, and I'm trying to use VJkeypress to map the virtual keypress for this event.
However, the virtual key 08 isn't working.
I have a .lnk file with 52#"\Program Files\vijay555\VJKeyPress\VJKeyPress.exe" 08 and it doesn't work. If I change it to 91 then I can get the start menu to pop up.
Is there a different set of virtual keys for WM6?
I currently have a long press of my OK key to the left softkey, and this allows me to navigate back, but I can't use it in fullscreen mode in PIE.
Anyone have any ideas?
I wrote this short MortScript and then mapped it to the side OK button (just take the .txt extension off). If you're in PIE, it presses the back button. If you're in any other application, it clicks on the "X" in the top right. That way I can use the left-side controls in PIE. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the script. However, it doesn't work in PIE if you use full screen, which was the same issue I was having just mapping the left soft key to the OK key.
Is there a way to simulate a keyboard press (backspace) in Mortscript instead?
Try the command "SendBackspace" (without the quotes). I think that will do it.
how to write underscore(_) on kaiser keyboard
really??
Function (thats the blue key that says "Fn") + a.
And for characters that do not have a designated key on the keyboard, hit Fn + OK to get a list of symbols.
I realize if I were to disable xT9 on Touch Pro, it also disables the symbol key (button left of space bar). Doesn't bring me to the symbol page. The button still works though. Meaning if I were to do a fn + sym, it launches the Internet.
If I were to uninstall the disable xT9 patch, the symbol key works again.
This seems to be happening on the last few later builds of WM6.5.. any work around?
yeah, i would like to find out that as well...
No one? ................
Is there a way to set the secondary keys to type the symbol instead of displaying the popup window when long pressing the key? This happens with some of the keys, ie. when long presing the n key for the comma, but a popup displays. I just want the secondary key shown to be typed. I've attached an img of what I mean.
Figured it out finally:
<CscFeature_Sip_AlternativeCharPopupInput>Hide</CscFeature_Sip_AlternativeCharPopupInput>
Regarding the UK version of this keyboard, I can't seem to figure out how to input '~' or '#' symbols with the key that displays '~', '#', '|', '\'.
Anyone figured this out?
'Pg up', 'Pg down', 'Home' and 'End' can be emulated by holding 'ALT' and pressing the directions but only sometimes.
e.g. 'ALT' + Left arrow will execute the back action in Chrome browser.
Same for 'Esc' when holding 'ALT' and pressing the top left button. This does not seem to be just the escape function when using VIM in a terminal.
This is quite frustrating because I purchased this setup to do server work and I use these keys quite often.
I don't know how to help you, but can't you install the KeyMapper app to set key combinations for the missing keys?
