Is there a way to uninstall the TF3D interface alltogether?
I'm still pretty new to this stuff. So, let me know if I'm being dumb here.
I'm wanting to remove the TF3D interface and maybe use one of the SPB apps to pretty-up my phone.
Thoughts...?

You can disable it, but you cannot uninstall a program which is cooked in. To disable just go to settings-->today-->today and uncheck touchflo

I've installed so much now I'm losing track a bit.
I'm pretty sure I installed HTC task manager and it wasnt on by default with the phone.
Anyway, now I want to get rid of it because I think that I like pBar better.
But I cant figure out how to uninstall the HTC one, and it's not in "remove programs"
thanks
I agree, just got pBar and I want to use it instead. Any way to remove Task Manager?
EDIT: Nevermind, just disabled it. Thanks!
Hi guys.
Can i use the HTC Home software from HTC Touch in my Diamond?
I like so TF3D but the consumption of resources is too high and i want a faster PDA.
And some tabs from TF3D are useless, like music (coreplayer >>>>> all), favorites contacts (15 favs is not enough 4 me), the weather (yeah too cool but i know the time looking at the sky every day xD), etc...
Anyone knows if is that possbile?
Thnx in advance
it would have been done by now if it could be
so i guess not.
well, you can install the "tf3d config" app to remove the unnecessary tabs in the tf3d.
or you could disable the tf3d entirely and install the today screen from the original touch or kaiser (that won't bring you the 3d cube, however)...

Simply by deselecting it in settings/today/items like any other today plugin.

There might be a way, if you find all the files and registry keys related to the application.
But in any case, it's not worth it to mess with files so integrated in the ROM itself. You'll be better off simply by deselecting it.
Regarding the space you can free by erasing this program, better to let the ROM cooks doing it before the ROM is built.
Hey guys,
I liked the Manilla 2d, but i got frustrated since most of the functions wont use my default apps and since most of the functions utilize a data connection which im not paying for. I tried remove the app. However, some of the logos on the start menu still show up from the old manilla 2d theme. Occasionally the vibrate icon will be the M2D version which is annoying because it has a separate layout I dont like.
I tried to remove the M2D by using the settings> system>remove programs, but it fails after trying for like 10 minutes. So what I did was I went to start>settings>system>today and I unchecked touchflo and i checked HTC Home and HTC Home Plugin, but now I still see the volume control from manilla 2d. Help me get rid of Manilla.
Side Note: Manilla 2d is a great theme, but Im only on a unlimited messaging plan so i cant make use of the weather, maps, and youtube functions. Furthermore it refuses to use my defaulted contact manager or text messaging manager.
Use a ROM without M2D.
Info is helpful...what ROM are you using?
I hate to be this guy, but i used a hard reset to get rid of my M2D and now it runs just fine. Remember to back everything up and you'll be ok. Take the jump! :]
att stock rom wm6.1

This sounds like it might be the only option at this point. Might I recommend PIM Backup to back up all of your info.
As stated in the M2D thread "IF YOU USE THESE BETA FILES EXPECT TO DO HARD RESETS EACH TIME A NEW UPDATE COMES OUT"
This would apply to uninstalling M2D as well.

please watch the video.. How to make my kaiser like that on the video.
It have touchflo3d like diamond..
2) how to uninstall complete manila 2d it don't want to uninstall
wow that looks just like the Diamond!!
yes but how to make that :S
1. It's already been made, but NOT fully working. Read this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=430718
2. Did you unselect touchflo in the today menu???????
Uninstallation Woes
To answer the uninstallation problem, there is sometimes an issue with uninstalling components of tf2D. I've heard using the SK-Tools uninstallaton function works, but I had a problem with the diamond Comm manager and had to uninstall it. It wouldn't uninstall but I used safe mode in SPB Pocket Plus and it uninstalled fine for me. Good luck,
Dave
how to download manilla 3d there is no download link
TF3D
They took away the download link because development had come almost to a stop and too many non developers were posting in the forum if I interpret the situation correctly. Try Throttlelauncher. It is in my opinion the closest thing to manilla 3D, and it is extremely stable without any of the issues that TF3D is having.
Dave
been using diamond for quite sometime now.. the touchflo is nice, but i think it slowers the phone down quite a little.. thinking of removing it totally.. is it possible? how? those who have done it, does it speed up the phone by quite a bit?
a good idea
I`ve done it with my diamond and installed the SPB Mobile Shell, works great, much faster than the touchflo, if u want to disable the touchflow go to settings->private tab->today->items-> remove the checkmark from touchflo 3d
thanks for the reply.. any others have tried totally removing it?
Unless u changes your ROM, you can not remove it totally as it comes with ROM. As far as speed is concern, removing totally is equivalent to disabling it.
