After changing once the background through menu (set as Today Background) from picture viewer app, I can't change it no more. I tried setting it to another picture, but the Today screen remains the same, even though during reboot you see the other picture for a brief while until TF loads. Also, going to Start-> Settings etc doesn't work.
What to do?
Thanks
Slide your tf2d slider to the settings menu then select the wallpaper button, choose your pic and you should be all set.
The Today Background is a totally different thing than the wallpaper in TF3D, which is why you see the Today background you set when you turn your phone on before TF3D starts up. Once TF3D is running you change the wallpaper as KD8DNS indicated. If you turn TF3D off (start->settings->today->items tab->uncheck TouchFlo3D->click OK), that's your Today screen with the wallpaper you originally selected.
With TF3D enabled, Goto the Settings Tab, click wallpaper, navigate to the desired wallpaper, click on wallpaper.

I have started using the HTC Home plug-in and have chosen my own clock etc. from the excellent HTC Home Customizer. Everything works fine until I move to landscape mode. It is OK in landscape but I lose part of the right hand side when back in portrait (the scroll bar part)- see red box in image. Any ideas on how to fix this?

That's the scroll bar that should be there and is probably added from the 3rd party app that you are using for your schedule to show on the home page.
PocketBreeze seems to be causing it, when removed it does not happen. Having said that I have no issues when in a normal home screen and this has only started happening today- was OK before with this set up?
Been testing further and it is not PocketBreeze. When I enable 'any' plug-in below the HTC Home I lose the right hand side, even the built'in Calendar plug-in. Any other suggestions to avoid a hard reset?
Hello all,
I have found that some WM6.5.3 ROMs has icon-themed themes and label-themed themes. This is the default icon-themed:

When in "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell\BubbleTiles" you will set:
1. "TextModeEnabled" on "0" (soft-reset the device) then you will see iconized buttons (e.g. lock icon) - Windows Mobile default.
2. "TextModeEnabled" on "1" (soft-reset the device) then you will see text-labeled buttons (e.g. you will see only "Lock" label instead of the lock icon).
usefull and interesting keyreg edit
ty
i was tring it too.. but i was editing the lock image wiith a text on photoshop, your way is much better
Try these on Cloudy 1.9 for HD but didn't worked
Have you performed the soft reset? I had Cloudy ROM v1.9 and this worked ;o)
I spoked too earlier, only on the start menu that the text labels are replaced by the icons
I rebooted my note earlier today. When the desktop appeared I had only the "applications" ic9n right in the middle of the main shortcut bar, nothing else. Very strange as you can't seem to edit those icons!
This is the default home\launcher thingy that comes with the phone.
Anyone seen this before, or anyone know how to either get the default icons back (without wiping/resetting) or edit them ?
Thanks
It should look like this -

But now I get this -

EDIT: I posted this because it might be useful to know how to edit/change the apps on the menu bar .
Goto Applications window press menu button(Left Soft button), then press "Edit", Then Drag and Drop Apps to dock which you need.
lol, thanks for that!
It seems obvious now, but the "edit" option only appears once you select "Grid View", it doesn't show up under "List View", that's why I didn't see it
First off I have tried searching for anything that does this for a bit now, and at least as far as threads on XDA go I found one from 2011.
Basically I just want the text in the attached screenshot to act as a normal home screen folder but display text instead of the folder icon or the app icon previews. By act as a normal folder I mean being able to drag apps into it and be able to expand it with a tap.

I've tried minimalistic text, simple text, and desktop visualizer with no luck. Additionally I've tried using the settings in Nova Prime Launcher but the options it has does not support this idea.
I haven't used it in a year or so, but sounds like something ssLauncher could do.
i usually dont change wallpapers for a really long time so im a little thrown off. i have a wallpaper, its 2000w X 1333h and im trying to set as my wallpaper and running nova launcher. not sure when it changed but i remember there being more options once you select the photo you want. now they have this interface that has a dotten line to measure the center and then options for left, middle and right. what happened to the full option or any others? reason being is I can't change how "zoomed" in this photo now appears as my wallpaper. im looking for the old set up which you can see in this photo, is it still doable?
