Dear All,
By pressing Power + Camera + Flag one can access Engineering Mode in O2 XDA Stealth. But this is not the three colored bootloader screen.
Is there such screen on this phone? Or the only way to write a ROM is by either Memory Card or by Active Sync?
Please clarify.

hey guys,
i have a big problem: i have an xda diamond and i broke the screen. So i put a new lcd in and i f****d up the volume buttons so they don't work anymore. Then i flashed the SUN Y Rom over the pc but know the phone freezes at the xda screen (with the water) and wouldnt turn on.
My question: How can i get into bootloader mode if there are no volume buttons left and the phone wouldnt turn on to flash over pc?

Alright guys,
Tried installing some battery icon replacement the phone then restarted...then gets stuck on galaxy s screen it plays the startup music in the background but doesnt change...i held the volume up, home and power button to reset the phone but it still freezes on the screen.
I've got no idea how to flash to stock australian rom any help would be most appreacited....
Turn the phone off.
Check then if download mode is working(volume+,home then power).
If this works then use odin to change the firmware.
Search the development section for this.
Hope you fix it.

My HD7 is stuck on the start-up HTC screen. If left for a few mins. it goes to the screen showing Phone- USB cable -PC and thats it.
I tried hard reset: volume up/down held down + power on/off. No matter how long I hold these buttons down it does not go to the boot loader screen, infact it goes to the same screen as mentioned Phone-USB-PC.
When I hold down volume button + camera +power on/off the tri-colour screen appears for a few seconds but then does to the white screen saying "Enter USB Host Mode"
Zune comes up with error C101002E and trying to flash it with O2 rom the error 260, no comms
Can I do anything to restore this?
I've just found out it has no memory card! Would this stop it from booting past the start-up screen?
Yes I bought it as faulty, so I thought a reset would do it. Its not dead, far from it but I just need pointing in the right direction
Hold volume up + down at the same time and click power once while continuing to hold BOTH volume buttons...
If that doesn't work and u haven't hacked ur fone ibwould call for a replacement .... I'm sending mine back cuz mine is constantly freezing and rebooting by itself

If I put my HD7s in diagnostic mode (presumably by holding vol down + camera button when turning on?) will it only stay in that mode until I turn it off...
The only threads I can see on diagnostic mode are from people who are now permanently stuck in this mode and I dont want to join that club!

what problem do you have with your phone.
I wanted to try to dump the HD7s rom so I can have a backup assuming DFT manage to HSPL my phone...
ummmm my htc sensation xl wont turn on because the power button is broken so i want to remap the power button to the volume button but i have to acces the storage files so can anyone tell me how to acces the storage system with the phone turned off ? and is their anyway to turn the phone on without the power button ?
Well there is a way just plug ot in the charger and it will boot now if you want to acess storage file just unzip any rom and download something called notepad++hen go and remap the buttons good luck.
