Normally new ROM in this forum are as clean as possible. THIS isn't !!!
This one is really dirty. It is ALL IN there:
User customisation,
Screen Rotation Fix,
German keyboard,
Speekerphone, (freehand phoning with a single fingertip gesture)
NET 3.5,
Opera Mini 4.2 German as Default Browser,
Screen Capture and Audio Recorder,
Phone Logging with Screen Lock Function,
HTC Home,
FTouchFlo,
SCLPC++ Cube,
Navigation,
Antitheft Software with GPS Detektion,
WLAN and WIFI, Wardriving and GPS Software.
Lots of useful freeware-apps,
and a lot of pre-installed programs and hidden features more!
The really best is a software, which is officially not released for Windows Mobile! Designed to run on at least 32MB, it is working fine on 17MB of free ram-memory!
So, please: Do NOT use this thread to ask for help on this proggis, better PM me.
Enjoy - don't talk!
Always try the ROM together with the UC. Without it, it doesn't rock, as it should!
To install:
Copy the folder Speicherkarte to a clean SD-card. (At least 1GB) and insert it into the device.
Uprade as normal, after that Hard-Reset.
Important: The RAMdisk is erased!
UC stops only one time and you have to press OK.
(No need to tap OK on the mortscript-popups)
At the end of the installation, you should set the time/date and lock the keys (if you want).
At last you can config the antitheft-soft.
Good news to all the ROM-cookers of you:
Add 2 files to the ROM and the antitheft-soft is hard reset resistend!
To all others, there is a little workaround to simulate hard reset resistens with the help of UC. (As long as the SD card is inserted on hard reset.)

I´m sorry. This Mod is my fault!
Have fun. 75 downloads in less than 36 h, not bad.
Can you please give me some feedback. It was a hard job, beside my family.
There are no probs? Nowhere? I can't believe it! Feel free to ask, why I did, what I did.

Did noone find that is not possible to create new SMS?!?
Sorry, I think I cleaned the ROM a little bit to much.
I´m working on it. The reason I didn´t see it earlier is, that I didn't insert a SIM and I didn't try it 'till now.
PLEASE report bugs you find! It makes me angry, if my first released ROM is not as perfect as it could be.
Ok greate work
This Rom - have package
Hi muckelmaus,
thx for your work.
There are some newer program-versions "on the markt" as the ones you used,
e. g. Total Commander or Version 6 of the Navi-Software.
I have a problem with your Navi-Installation:
First I used the older Navi-SW at your ROM, no problem.
Second I am trying to use the newer one, but it gives me an error with the map which seems to be pre-installed in the configuration. I cannot switch in the newer SW to the other card on the SD nor I can end the Navi-SW on normal way.
Can it be that the 2 versions of the Navi-SW uses the same INI-File or registry-entry anywhere?
Please edit your post!
Can you please do not use original Software-names in this thread. I don't like judges, software companies can google, too.
For the map, you have to edit a file. Sorry, I forgot to share these files, that explain how.
They are coming soon, but I want to fix the SMS bug first.
Btw: There is a version of that program running on WM 2k3 devices, too. This version can handle 6.75 maps!
Of cause, there might be newer versions of special apps, but do they are so much better more powerful or do the have special features, that it is worth to change a working system. On the other hand, most of them are bigger and they won't fit. ROM is rare on Hima-systems. (Current G-maps is twice as big as the older)
The best example is the missing SMS capability, which is a result of cleaning to drastic.
Still working on bug fix! Comming asap!

Thanxs, for editing your post, Did you check your PM?
You didn't download the link yet.
Still working on the SMS bug fix. The fault was created between Sept. 13 'til 26 last year, as far as I examined. Now I have to compare, what I did in between version 6.1.9 and 6.1.10. Found the missing files and 2 registry data, but there is still missing a little bit.
Now it works!
Yes, it's true. The bug on creating SMS is fixed!
So I release it now as Final Version. Look at the first post of this thread.
There is still a little bug, but it is not a special fault of my ROM, it's known as a bug, based in changing the language (to German).
The device freezes on calibrating the touchscreen.
Maybe some one can write a small app, .cab or a mort script to change the reg key:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\TOUCH]
"CalibrationData"="504,517 152,249 146,786 865,789 862,259"
(Would be cool because one of my himas has a little bit funny behaviour.
Try this and you will see:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\TOUCH]
"CalibrationData"="584,499 291,239 291,763 880,757 881,241 ")
I hope, you all will have fun.
On questions or problems, please PM: "I will do my very best Ms. Sophy" "Scoll"
Cool, there was one complete download, while writing this post.
Please post your opinion or bug detections.
It is quite easy to get rid of unused proggis on the ramdisk or to save some more space in main memory.
If you are not sure how or you want to insert your own cabs, but don't know to edit cabs, it would be nice to hear from you.
Last Final Link
Look at the first post, if you want to use the left-right gesture.
Have fun. Now everything should work.
Without it, all your brainpower or the help of the search-button would be useless.
Shame on me!
There is still a wrong link in the System folder. Backup funktion is corrupt.
Download and extract the patch attached to the first post.
Copy the folder Patch to the root of the SD card and start the included Patch1.mscr to fix the wrong link.
Fixed the missing MMLauncher in a new Patch, today.

Nice, that you like it.

It is compatible with the extended battery and it should be compatible with the vga-feature of the backpack.
There is a file of the Net2.0 folder missing in \Windows, sorry, I didn´t find out which one yet.
A small workaround was to copy the file(not the folders) to \windows, but this wastes memory. I´ll patch it, soon, it worked for me.
I was a little bit to radical in cleaning the ROM to get space.
I still hope, that someone finds a way to write a working driver for the cf-slot of the backpack, because I saw a working 6.1 ROM at the Magician forum by some hero without a warning or any hint that it is possible.
So, hope dies last.
See you.
BTW: ather I´ll by you a cheap new used hima, because one of mine has funny behaviour, caused by a 3600mAh battery. PM for your address, to send it.
PS: MMlauncher still doesn´t work. Sorry for that, I think it´s a hardcoded link error.
Hello, this is my first post in the forum, I used to search a lot before I decided to post here...
My problem is: my WM6.5 21234(Build 21234.5.0.1) chinese simp version expired last day and I have some important documents inside the internal memory.
The time bomb doesn't let me do anything.
I tryed to flash it, with different shell32.exe as somebody posted in the forum, but I don't remember witch version of wm6.5 I've got.
I also tryed just by pluging the phone to my win 7, but doesn't allow me to access to the internal memory, seems to be blocked by wm6.5, in win 7 it display only the mini sd card.
I need at least to get this files out of my internal memory or get rid of this time bomb.
Hope you guys can help me.
Is possible to use my sd memory to rip the internal memory of the x1?
Hi everybody,
I have tested many cooked roms for Rhodium with both Manila 2.1 and Manila 2.5. I congratulate all of you very good job!
What I mentioned, that ALL roms with landscape support are extremely slow after inserting the SD card (as well as applications which must use the card work very, very slowly). This problem does not exist if you install rom with Manilla 2.5 without landscape and after that you install landscape separately (using http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=588476).
This solution is not perfect. If someone of rom cookers can solve this, it will be great job.
Thanks in advance...
im having no speed issues with NRG's 28011 dec 31 build of manila 2.5...i have programs installed on my sd card and i store all my music there as well...no lag in running any of these
Which class is your SD card?
I'm not entirely sure, but I believe this has something to do with the newer 2.5 roms supporting the documents tab, which likes to scan the entire phone/card for documents.
The link you posted is a 'hack' (a brilliant one!) to achieve landscape in older 2.5 roms and is not one released by HTC. The underlying system is different, is what I'm saying.
There are cabs floating around to disable the documents tab. You could try that and see if that's your problem.
The SD has been delivered with the phone. It's 8GB ScanDisk. I have very large map file (1.5GB) and the GPS software works very slowly. Without the SD everything is OK as well as if you install Manila 2.5 w/o landscape and then you add it - it seems that it is not problem with the card.
Thank for quick answer.
hi yeah disable the documents tab i dont have a slow manila on ark rhodium rom

... but what it means for my case?
I have unchecked the box of doc tab and restart the phone. No result.
I cannot find the cab file responsible for doc tab disabling. Any help?
I have made another test: if manila is turned off, everything goes well. It seems that is the manila problem, only.
I have tested this behaviour with almost all roms with Manila 2.5 listed here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/poll.php?do=showresults&pollid=2115).
In each case the behaviour is the same: inserting SD card with enabled Manila means extremely slow performances of the phone.
I have used two various cards = the same effect.
No card nor Manila: everything is going properly...
Any ideas ...?
delete this:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\Manila\HTCService]
"DocIndexerService"="DocIndexerService.dll"
then you should be good. it is somthing to do with the doc indexer service not working with our phones.

It must be something you have installed as i use ARKs rom which is Rhodium AF and too have a 8gig card and garmin mobile installed which maps are 1.5 gig and i also have several movies and a ton of music i have no issues with anything being slow i also have the documents tab enabled and have never had a slow down issue. everything is extreemly fast my memory runs at about 58 - 60%. maybe try to flash rom and insert you card and do not install anything first to see the affect then maybe try installing programs 1 by 1 to see which maybe causing a conflict.
Additionally, I have tested roms contained Manila 2.5 landscape but without Doc Tab.
Results the same.
I think that all rom cookers use the same background of landscape support which has big problem with SD card with big files.
I hope at least someone is able to solve this issue.
Thanks for advices... I am going to try them and let you know...

Yes you right... I've left just garmin and there were no problems... searching...
Dears,
Problem is solved. I have no idea why, but problem was cased by folder named "htc" which contained my old cabs for win 6.1 (kaiser).
Thank you very much all of you for help and I am waiting for new roms...
Bye
right guys iam a hd2 user and its easy to install android on there as it goes off memory card, ive gone through the forum and i got a bit lost as to what to do as its not got a memory card.and ive seen it as a cab file. any help woulkd be really good cheers
The Diamond has a memory card, it's just not removable. Just use the 'internal storage' where ever you were expecting to go to an SD card.
Did you find the threads about android on diamond?
Should be here somewhere in the ROM development section:
