how can i replace it...nd..how much will it cost to repait. Please Help, i live in Brookyn NY, USA
The screen on my MDA cracked (which is the main reason I upgraded to a Kaiser) but I found a replacement screen on ebay for cheap, like $10 bucks shipped from Hong Kong with the tools required to dissasemble the phone.
Now, what's cracked though, the actual LCD or the Touchscreen? If the screen still displays fine underneath the crack, you need to search for a digitizer.
If the LCD is cracked underneath an otherwise undamaged screen and no longer displays an image correctly then you need to search for a replacement LCD.
And if the crack affects both you of course need both pieces.
I just looked and only saw one person offering a combo of LCD and Digitizer for over $100 bucks. I have a feeling the TyTN II/Kaiser probably uses the same digitizer as other HTC models, so you just have to find out which ones and then order those.
This is who I ordered from if you want to contact them and see if they have what you need.

thank you..for yer help..no..only the screen underneath is cracked cuz everything is fine except the image doesnnt show..at all....but some black type of thngz
wow another one, welcome to the club of mortified Kaiser owners that had to go through this. you should hit up njbridges (a member on this forum) he sells them just send him your e-mail addy. also try a search on this forum there should be a thread or two with this situation (me being included) your main two options are to ship it to htc for them to repair (which is costly) or do the repair yourself (depends on how comfortable u feel with such an operation) unless there is someone in brooklyn that might be able to help.
Who did u buy it from? egadgetdepot is in BK so u can google them up and ask them if they have anyone that sells the screen.
I tried to remove the att logo off of my tilt which is in perfect condtion btw, and failed. It is kind of smeared on the front of the housing. I have a slight case of ocd with my phone and I would like to keep it perfect. I am looking to buy another housing or front face but its hard to find one online without the camera hole on the front for video calling. They are also expensive 70+ dollars. I would buy the orange one here which is pretty cool http://cnn.cn/shop/tytn-iitilt-full-housing-orange-p-2243.html
but they are out of stock. Its not a big deal however I would like to keep the phone oem and original looking. If no one has one i will be selling it on ebay and buy a new one. email me at [email protected] if you have anything.
**mods if this is in the wrong forum please move
thank you

At&t Tilt Housing replacement
www.fonlogix.us has the original at&t tilt housing complete with the housing keypad slider and door for $55
I know it sounds insane, but try this before you order anything, since you already are going to get a new case: Get a standard, white sugar cube and use it to scratch off the carrier logo. On a lot of cheap flip phones and even an old blackberry I have, this will take the carrier's painted on logo off without much, if any damage to the original case underneath. The only thing to watch for is to make sure the case or the sugar cube are both dry, otherwise a wet sugar cube could scratch the device's paint as well, leaving ugly scratches. Since you have nothing to lose, try and see how that works out for you. Good luck,
Dave

FWIW, the sugar cube method has been mentioned numerous times in the past, however, much to everyone's chagrin, the AT&T logo on the Tilt is immune to this...
My screen busted today. The actual screen did not break but I guess the crystal or whatever shattered. The screen lights up but its not readable.
I found a US seller on ebay of replacement screens but they just told me that it does not include the digitizer which is what makes the touch feature of the screen work right?
Can you take the digitizer off the stock screen and apply it to another LCD?
Does anyone know of any place that sells the LCD and digitizer unit already together so that all I have to do is pop in the new screen?
I had purchased the item before I knew it didn't include the digitizer but I emailed them and asked them to refund and cancel the order because it didn't include the digitizer. In the off chance they refuse I'd like to know if there is any way to utilize the stock digitizer.
Please let me know of anyone that sells the LCD/Digitizer unit as one piece so all I have to do is pop it in the phone in case they do cancel the order so I can purchase another screen.

Screen Repair
I broke my Tilt screen, too. I sent it to Mobile Device Repair (http://www.mobile-device-repair.com/). I mailed from Central Texas on Monday morning, had the unit back by Saturday, and it cost under $100 for the parts and labor. Matt McCormick is the person I dealt with.
I'm Matt from Mobile Device Repair and wanted to do a quick updated on this post. I actually changed the name of my company recently to Jet City Devices so if you're reading this post and want to find Mobile Device Repair, you'll actually find us here:

Hello,
I dropped my Note and the screen is cracked. So I would like to ask if you guys know a good professional service that would do it in the US?
Actually I tried buying a replacement screen with frame from eBay but the seller sent me a defective one (red bands all over the place). He is kind enough to send me a second one but that is also defective! I was really upset now so that I demand a refund from the seller, which he agrees.
So if you guys also know a good parts seller I'm open to that option as well. Ideally, I would like the digitizer with frame because I'm not really sure I'm up for peeling layers like this post here described.

Hello,
Yesterday I received my HTC One, I was excited, but at the same time was scared during the unboxing that I might get one of the handsets with quality issues during manufacturing.
The phone box was sealed with the thin nylon (100% brand new), and it is made in Taiwan. It is O2 UK branded. 801n model.
Unfortunately, I received a unit with a small spacing between the plastic and the metal body at the lower side of the phone. But what was really a bummer is a small dent on the metal stripe at the lower end...
I'm attaching pictures that I hope are clear to show what I'm talking about.
The bad thing is that I received the phone through international shipping, so returning it back is really a hassle.
What do you think? Shall I just accept it as is? Or do you think the spacing might get worse so I should do something abou it?

The warranty is world wide so you should be able to have it replaced in your nearest repair centre. Call HTC in your country and ask them how to proceed.
Note: HTC can handle it as an in-warranty repair, but they cannot replace it with another sales kit unit as they are not your reseller.
