Which IPL/SPL? G4 or G3 device?

the phones a g3

If you have not CID unlocked your G3, just download the official carrier ROM for you device and flash it, then you will get a restored Wizard.

i was flashing the offical rom that you can download the tmobile website and but today i took the phone to a cell repair place and told theguy that i was flashing the phone from tnt wm6.1 that was missing a few files to offical tmobile and the phone shut off at 90% and he pluged the phone in and it turned on to the red green blue screen and hey told me that the phone is not bricked thats made me happy i love this phone then he put my battery in another mda that worked and checked the battery and it was 5% charged and told me to charge the phone but i told him that i ready tired to charge the phone but the light that comes to tell its charging doesnt come on then he told to go home and order a external battery charger on the internet and charge the battery and try to flash the phone again

hey everyone got the external battery charger in the mail and charged the battery and still no luck at flashing the tmobile rom then i decide to try and buy a new battery and i went a bought a new battery and put the battery on the external battery charger and then let it fullly charge and then i tried to flash and the rom successfully downloaded now my mda is back and running like a champ

HELP!!

I flashed radio rom 2.40 and it is screwing up my phone BIG TIME. i am using Faria's WM6 but this rom is killing it.
I cannot get to the bootloader screen even if I press the 2 buttons on the right and the Reset button but I cannot get to the loader screen.
Anyone know another way to get to the bootloader so that I can go back to the original 1.19 ROM.
Thanks,
Mike
ok, i read this in this forum because just 2 days back the same thing happened to my 8125... ok Charge ur phone with the battery still in it for 2 hours....then after thats done take out the battery and charge the phone without the battery.....Then pull the plug out and push back in for like 3 times (ur screen and orange led light should flash)...then without putting the battery back in hold the camera, power, and voice buttons at the same time until the bootloader screen comes up. Finally put the battery back in and unplug the charger, put the pc charger in and flash ur old rom....hope this helps, because it worked for me! Good Luck!

I just followed these instructions from this thread and got bootloader to come on.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=294107
Basically, the only thing I did was remove my SD/MMC card and it went through no problem.
I flashed 2.19 Radio Rom back on my MDA so hopefully, everything is good.
Thanks for trying to help....

8125 Bricked HELP !!!

I was trying to update my WM5 to WM6 I have the G4 8125 , now it wont turn on I plugged it in to the charger port and the light that shows it's charging doesn’t even come on. Last night after I was trying to update it went completely blank, I tried to run the Official AT&T RUU_Wizard_225111_22511102_022511_CWS_WWE_Ship_1 and it wont even connect to my phone it gives me the connect error, every now and then last night it would show the boot loader screen but now its doing nothing someone HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!! PLZZZ Does this mean my phone is bricked ???
Sounds like the battery is dead at a guess. As you have already seen the bootloader screen that is a good sign. You need to charge the battery away from the phone either in a cradle battery charger or another persons phone. If after charging the battery the phone is still dead I am afraid it maybe RIP.
I am sure others may help you far better than me though
Shew , i hope it is just the battery if its not the battery is thier anything else i can do for the phone ?
I am now in the same boat with my K JAM
What was you trying to do to your phone ? the same thing i was ?

Most important is to get your battery fully charged atleast, I think it has gone flat, how are you trying to charge the battery ?,it won't get charged through usb cable, cuz usb cable will not charge in bootloaders,it got have a working OS on the phone and only provides 0.5 amp(500 amp power),where as now it'll only start charging if you connect it to a 'Wall Charger' which provides 1 Amp (1000 Amp power), or get a charged battery from a friend and check if your phone gets into bootloaders,if it gets than my friend your saved.WELL,IF NOT,.....I'm afraid you gotta shinny expensive paper weight on ya desk.
which Upgrade Rom were you trying to flash and as you have a G4 device, what method did you adopt to flash the Rom ? a G4 device can only be upgraded through SoftSPL or HardSPL method in case upgrading to a custom build wm6 Rom and or can only be flashed with an official Rom.
Secondly ,if you flashed a G3 specific Rom which includes IPL/SPL in it,will definitely "BRICK" the phone
I just wanted to thank everyone for your help , i got my new battery in yesterday and my phone booted up flashed back to at&t orginal rom. Thank So Much.....

Dead battery mid-flash?

uh...Hello, title says it all. I just picked up an 8125 and liked wm5 but really wanted wm6. So, I did my research found the files and guides I needed and started to do my updating. Now the problem is when I did the RUU (Vista version) everything was going well. I got to around 90ish percent (it picked up speed towards the end) and then she crashed and went back to the boot loader screen. So I tried the recovery mode, only to find my phone keeps flashing on and off back light comes on screen goes to the 3 colored bars and then the light goes off and a few bars of the screen slowly fade out only to come back to life again. Now the odd thing is, I had 100% battery when I started (plugged in for 6 hours previously) and I hadn't had the phone go dead on me before. It's been a few minutes now and the blips keep speeding up (I suppose the battery is giving it's last few gasps). Do you guys have any ideas as to why this would happen (I didn't notice any short battery life issues previously)? Perhaps I should order a new battery and reattempt the flash? I apologize in advance if this has been answered previously or posted in the wrong section (I did do a forum search previous to posting). I would very much like to recover my latest investment. Oh yes, plugging it into my usb/power adapter will cause the blips to pick up pace a bit, though the screen has been silent for the last minute or two (while plugged in). Thanks in advance for any replies.
If you can enter the RUU then everything is ok(the 4 color screen which has "RUU" at the top right corner). I think your battery is dead, what you should do is order another battery or turn your phone off and plug the usb cable in (it should charge). After you got your power issue solved, flash the base rom (t mobile 2.26) then flash the rom that you wanted(remember your device must be SIM/CID unlocked)
Can't get it to charge which sucks. I just bought a battery and am just waiting to get it. I was in the middle of doing the IPL downgrade so I could do the CID unlock when it died. Well, I hope I can get past this.
Charge the battery with Wall charger or with some friends pda,get into bootloaders (multicolor screen) and flash the official rom to recover back.
Just flash the base rom as zabardast_1 said then use Wizard Service Tool to sim/cid unlock then do what you wanted
Just got my battery, luckily it came with a good charge and it finished the flash I'll see if I can hit the CID unlock with the button rom in WST if not I'll try zabardast_1's one.
Wel i just finished up with a successful flash to the tmobile 2.26 with xda mobile 6, runs great

is my 9100 dead???

hey guys, i was uploading wm5 back to my 9100, when at 90% it restarted, and in the installation it was showing me that my battery is empty, so i took out the battery, and placed it back and tried to put it in bootloader, but there was no hope, so i connected it to the charger, it was charging through the night and once or twice it turned on for 10sec`s ( itself) in bootloader...and now i took the phone off the charger and it has no sign of life, im trying to put it somehow in bootloader, but its not working...it looks like he`s dead...is there anyway that i can put it in bootloader!?!??thanks in advance!!!and even if i put it on USB through the computer it is not showing that its charging, and the same thing is happening when i put it on the charger, the orange light is not on...
Which is your device,G3 or G4 ?.If its a G3,the battery is dead and it won't charge in Bootloaders,It'll only charge with a wall charger, capable of 1amp out put or you may have to 'Jump Start' it and then it'll start to charge.
But,if its a G4 and if you had applied HardSPL to upgrade to wm6,it was essential to remove HardSPL and revert back to original official IPL/SPL and then reflash the wm5,otherwise the phone will be 'Bricked'
thanks for replying on my post,
i think that my my device is G4, probably, because the wm5 that i was installing it was Wizard_Love_2.26.10.2_WWE_Novii_CF2 for G4...
anyway how can i 'Jump start' my device?
thanks in advance

almost dead blueangel

NEVER MIND. I BOUGHT A NEW ONE. (at least i'll have spares)
i we had my blueangel for about a year now and i while back it started shutting down randomly and didn't boot. so i got pissed and started using another phone instead. but now i want to fix it. so the problem is:
randomly flashing blue light and no bootup. somtimes the redlight flashes too.
sometimes the screen shows ROM but crashes. (no backlight)
and with my other battery i just get a glowing red light or simply nothing.
i overclocked it in the past, any chance the the OC killed it? highest was 570 something but only for a short period.
when it started crashing i figured the rom was corrupted or somthing and i wanted to upgrade it to wm5 or 6. but it died like 10 seconds before i plugged it in and it's havent worked since.
i've noticed something though. i charge it with my qtek 1010's charger 5v 1A however on the blueangel its 5v 2A. but i worked fine for about 6 months.
any thoughts? is it gone for good?
EDIT: i almost forgot. bootloder mode doesnt work either. when it finally starts all i see is the t-mobile logo an rom version.
EDIT2: a quick ansver would be great becouse there is an mint condition blueangel for sale and i'll probably buy it if i cant save my current one. however i would save a lot of money if i fixed this one.
You've probably flashed wrong or bad rom, so the device is doing god-knows-what when you turn it on Maybe there's a way to flash some working rom to it?
in never made it to the flashing. i plugged it in and it was dead. so i never had time to flash it, i died before i tried.
did you have the red light when you put your BA in charge ?
Because in my case, when i don't use my BA and my battery is empty, i need to charge at least 30mn my BA and after i remove the battery and soft reset the phone for restart my BA. This is the only way for restart my BA.
The charger 5v 1A is not a problem but if your BA crash during the upgrade of wm5 or 6 is not good.
in first try to start your phone and go in bootloader.
you should only flash your device, when the battery is full, because
1. the device is not being charged while upgrading, and so it could switch off during upgrade if the battery is not full.
2. there are rumours, that the battery state during the upgrade is recognized as 100% after upgrading and if that is not true, your battery state is all messed up and you could harm your battery while charging afterwards.
