Hello,
im looking for a better battery for my x1. 3000mah or so.
Thx
3000!? yeah good luck with that
This is an english forum, use the english language. Unlucky for me, my german is good enough to read all the above (nonsense) posts.
Basically, the thing here is that stupid questions are met with stupid answers. Had you looked around for at least a little bit yourself, you could (and should) have seen that the 1500mAH is already "revolutionary" for batteries of this size.
there are no stupid questions - only stupid answers!
i saw a 3000 battery for the nokia n95 for sale. but not sure if it was one of them crap batteries that dont really do what it says
I'd hate to be walking down the street and having smoke coming outa my pocket because of one of these batts
http://www.pdamax.de/?art_nr=cz-366&sid=
I have this one, not a battery which is sticking to the device, but you can connect it with a normal usb cable for recharging or permanent charging.
I like it for traveling.
At least this is an attempt for a potential answer after all those comments ...

LOL a 3000mAh battery request? This can only come from a Fenevbahce supporter
best I've seen is 1800mah on ebay, but that's li-io and not li-po as the original battery.
anyone's tried that 1800mah and can compare the two?

Sorry but I disagree....
The question was legitimate...everyone with the snarky comments are simply ignorant and misinformed.
Mugen makes large capacity batteries (and are a legit battery maker) but they always require a new battery door since the size is usually 2x as large...For me, I rather have a 2nd battery on hand, or a portable USB charger that I can hook up. A bulky Xperia is no longer a xperia if you ask me...
Mugen example:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=300282850480
I doubt they'll make one for Xperia, but I hope for a slightly higher capacity one but with the same dimensions...

thats a half nuclear facility oO
why not just buy 2x 1500mah and conntect them in parallel?
can anyone suggest a good brand for battery replacement? i bought a cheap one from china and its crap. lasts half as long as original battery...
what do you think of this one? is it worth a try?
i've heard mugen is a good brand...

Well, well ... absolutely excellent !! Thank you for the link
Mugen is a good brand from earlier Eten experience and shop.eten.hu is a reliable retailer.
I've been hoping for this to turn up for a few months now Purchasing two of them ...
yeah.. mugen is out with a 3600mAH battery but it sucks cos its so thick!! better buy a 1800mAH as spare will do

I found a 1600mah battery here that is supposedly the same size as the OEM 1350mah one.
Think this is legit? Or will it damage my kaiser/stop holding a charge after a month?
The specs all match up with OEM Kaiser battery..
3.7V, for Device Part # KAIS160...
Thoughts?
wooooooowwwwwww, great great news!, 20% more capacity, 20% more battery life, same size!!!!!
It'll be a great improvement!!!!
wow, good find. can someone guinea pig this and tell us the results of testing?!
I hope that is legit.
This looks a little suspicious. In one spot it says 1500mAh, right under that it says 1600....
Seems that the Ebay auctions in the first post were either pulled or won. I found another seller of these batteries:

I might get one and if I do, I'll most certainly post my results!

That's probably because I bought it yesterday. I'm exited to try it out because mye battery lasts about a day. Mugen power batteries will have some batteries for Kaiser, but no release date yet. They have announced three types, but no specs are listed.

Better way to find the eBay batteries.
Once someone gets a hold of one of these, make sure to let us know!
(The 1500mAh in one of the auctions is probably just a typo. All the actual battery photos say 1600.)

Personally, I tend to be a bit skeptical of 3rd party battery capacity claims that seem to easily be able to squeeze more life into the same space. In most real world tests I've seen, mAh ratings don't seem to mean a whole lot. Not saying it's not better, but I wouldn't expect any miracles.
I had one of these brand batteries for the 8525. Although it's physical size is the same as the OEM, it had some extra bulk and bumps on it that would not let the battery door shut completely. I also couldn't tell any extended use over the OEM battery. I eventually just left it charged up and in my laptop bag for emergency use.
god god god!!!!
That sure would be nice. My only real complaint about the Tilt is that the battery life is pretty short.
Although I am usually traveling with my laptop and I keep an electrovaya power pad in my laptop case with it. That's PLENTY of battery power if I don't need to be ultra portable.
New 1600 Bat on way!
just ordered one of these Battery's less than $30 Dollars AUD dellivered!
Let you know what its like when it comes.
Cheers

Ditto. Most of them seem to "engineer" the higher capacity into the label only.
I'd love to be proven wrong, but it's pretty unlikely that HTC gave up 20% capacity at the same price in a just-released device. When one is replacing 2-3 year-old batteries then an increase is believable but I'm pretty skeptical right now....
Richard
Completely skeptical, lithiums tend to have a capacity equal to size, 20% should be simply bigger. I would also like you to report if the batteries have the metal shield on the inside face as well. But the price is good...

That's what worries me on these third party. That shield is there for a reason.

i use on my prophet high cap batteries ... the only problem i have found ... the batterie messure the batterie drain. batteries they are copy tells wrong value!
my prophet use idle 2mah and the batterie tells me 80mah. this is messure with laborpowersupply. the original batterie tells the right value +- 5mah.
next point ... the batterie loading controller can have problem to stop the charge or the value for to low voltage are wrong. this make the live time of the copy batterie shorter! the first batteries for nokia have blast some handys, but this is a long time ago ... sorry for my bad english!
Batteries doesnt must have a big size to have more capacity! how much capacity a batterie have is what electrode you use. i cant explane in english.
wenns wer übersetzen will ... hat die elektrode eine große oberfläche, können sich mehr elektronen (geladene teilchen) dort aufhalten. dafür ist die stromfestigkeit nicht mehr gegeben :->
This is interesting, but i remember fairly well those exploding nokia battery's. They were all made by someone not approved by Nokia...

I guess you mean the replacement batteries with 3000-3500 mAh, in that case: yes the official power pack is better! If you do a little search on ebay batteries with hughe figures on the lable here or elsewhere, you will soon learn that those batteries do not keep what they promise!

Here is a current example of an unsatisfied buyer:

But i see some buyer say that's 3000 good battery and better than 3500.
They just dont like heavy and ugly look for sgs after that.
Whats ur advise for me, take power pack or battery replacement.
Because am going to buy 1 of them.

Hi,
I don't have this battery, but by the looks of the sticker, it's a generic battery that can be found on ebay for almost every good brand/model smartphone. I doubt it can do 1800mah, it's relatively cheap. For batteries, you usually get what you paid for.
Cheers.
If u watch the 1500maH batteries, the price is like 3x that, dont go just for the price, do some research.
I have the 1700maH from Mugen Power! The price is good for a lil bit more batterie!

I also have 2x 1700mAh from mugen power, and i'm quite satisfied with them. Gives me in average 4 to 8 hours more battery life than the standard LG battery. Have them for like 6 months now, and no problems at all. Recommended =)

OMG that capacity is awesome and the price?! Sounds way to good to be true, what could happen in worst case, I mean when u say: original or genuine or safe ?
even im not sure wt if it screws up our phone
My stock battery was getting ridiculous, if I get up at 7am and unplug the phone off the charger, the battery will be pretty much dead by 2pm (<20%).
So last week I picked up HLI-S710EXL from Mugen Power. (You need to go search it on their webiste, I can't post link due to newbie status)
I was hesitant at first because the phone could become bulky due to the extra thickness, but now I'm actually holding the phone better as the extra thickness sits right in the centre of my palm, creating a more natural grip.
Battery life is extended significantly, by the time I go to bed around midnight, usually there is still 35% left in the tank.
I know the price is a bit steep, but I think it's well worth the money, especially if you are not about to purchase a new phone in the near future. I'd totally recommend it.
i found battery 2450 in stock size on aliexpress.
hesitant to buy a new batterly
I'm also looking for a new battery.... but hesitant because I also seeking for the next phone...

If you want to buy some cheap but high quality HTC batteries online, I think you need to try the Everbuying.com.
Truth about batteries is, the manufacturer has already installed the highest capacity battery possible for the physical dimensions of the battery. I've purchased them gold batteries and many other( higher capacity rated for the same physical size) batteries and they seem to be a tad better than original battery for a few weeks but then quickly diminish in capacity to a point way below your stock battery. If you want more mAH from a battery to fit into inc s you must look into extended batteries where the physical size of the battery has been increased. A word of warning too with all these cheap batteries is that most if not all of them have no inbuilt thermal protection circuitry and therefore the posibility exists of thermal runaway caused by batteries being charged when they are too hot to be charged- eg hot summers day in a car...

As this is my first time ordering accessories for my SGA, what are your experiences with bigger capacity batteries, especially those ordering from ebay and China-based retailers?
Thanks
A good thing I've noticed is the bigger battery and so a bigger back cover so maybe I'll give a try to this battery. Never trus batteries of the same size of the original one but more powerful.

Got my battery a couple of weeks ago, it does work fine, lasts about 3 whole days with heavy use (Wifi always on, a lot of music listening, about hour of talk and ca. 30 sms), but you have to calibrate it first. (I think that's the word in English, the thing when you charge it and drain it 3 times)
There is no warranty as a piece of paper, but the seller has return policy.

Here's some pictures, this thing is awesome if you are still using the Ace. I wish this had come out sooner before I got my N5, because I was carrying 3 batteries with me everywhere and swapping them all the time after they ran dry.
Don't know how long it lasts yet, just installed it and haven't ran it dry and then powered it back up fully yet, but going from stock 1350mAh to 3500mAh should be pretty good, and it's not like those fake batteries that are the same thickness as the stock battery claiming to have insane mAh which are obviously fake.
http://imgur.com/a/cVYS4#0
Edit: I thought the battery was junk at first and not really increased capacity, but it seems charging while in the ROM doesn't work properly (??)
It was draining very fast, so I let it drain fully, then charged it fully with the phone off, and now it seems to be fine and (no specific durations) lasts quite a while, so it's definitely legit and increased mAh.
