I just figured this out thought I would share it if you open these links in your android's web browser and hold down on the flash you can make the games full screen and play almost as if they were an app takes a bit to load but works good unfortunately some of these may not save. So far Plants VS Zombies has resumed for me after it loaded and I clicked play.
Requires Flash and Firefox 4 Mobile will not work!!
Plants VS Zombies
Bejewled 2
Bejeweled 3
Bejeweled Twist
Zuma 2
Big Money
Talismania
Unfortunately the other games on popcap don't seem to be flash so you can't directly play them on android unless someone knows a way to extract them from the site like this.
Nice! What browser would you say plays these the best?
pvz loaded on dolphin, thanks OP
Do I need to install anything to get these to run, like Flash?
Yes you do need flash for it to work also apparently saving does work on Plants vs Zombies I haven't really tested the others too much except bejeweled 3 works good I know I just extracted the exact address to the swf files and posted their links. Hopefully you guys all figured out how to get it to go full screen!
Hi, I'm thinking of flashing a custom rom to my Captivate, I'm on stock 2.2. However, I've purchased some gameloft's game through gameloft's page not from the market. I still keep the apk files, so will I lost those game's license after flashing a custom rom.
Thank you.
Any licenses should be tied to your Gameloft account, not to your phone in any way. It is extremely unlikely that installing a custom ROM would affect your games at all. However, you should probably consider using something like Titanium Backup to save the data files for your games in case they store any licensing information.
No, when you download games from gameloft website by your phone the games aren't ties to your account like you download it from PC, they are tied to your phone and browser.
Ex: I use dolphin browser to download some game. I can use dolphin to download those game again for free but I can't use stock browser to download them again.
Here's Gameloft's policy - http://www.gameloft.com/faq/#8. I don't see how the browser you use would make a difference....

What's in this version:
You now have the Installed and All tabs you can swipe between. The former one is what we used to have before - it lists all apps installed on your device. The latter lists all apps you've ever installed in case you want to download them again or travel down the memory lane. This is quite handy, and I've seen this list before in the Play Store on the web, so it's great to get it here in the mobile app.
The All tab contains a handy dropdown with all your accounts (if you added more than one) and lets you switch between them very easily (as opposed to clicking Menu, etc).
A few of the stock apps that apparently never got linked to the Play Store before got identified and picked up this time, and updates to them were waiting for me when I fired the Store up. I've complained about this very bug in my last rant, and it looks like someone listened.

Anyway since the SDK is released for Chromecast, hasn't google missed a trick?
Is this a good idea
Why doesn't google make Chromecast app be with google drive? I could upload all my files, movies, torrrents, photos and would love to have them ALL in one place and be able to cast them?
I would really consider upgrading the storage and paying for more storage, they would be able to get more $£€¥... IMO
So do you think google should do google drive Chromecast, if no why not?
Same thing with that ^ but again would like to see DRopbox have the ablitlty to stream. Things from the cloud.
Pros of this - limited space on phone storage, so drive can be used No need to run a server 24/7. Save electricity costs Assuming its cheaper considering that ^ Can view word files, homework, PDF , on big screen
Post your views would you like to see this?"""""
I live that idea, could be very useful. Your views ? Should google do this

Avia can pull from Dropbox
AllCast can pull from both Dropbox and Google Drive
RealPlayer Cloud can pull from their cloud
If Google was going to do this, they would have already - because they didn't need to wait for the SDK release - they could make any Chromecast app they wanted to whenever they wanted to.
They could just do a straight dump/retrieve from Drive to Chromecast, but without a player app that can handle that file type, Chromecast will just get the file and not know what to do with it, just like having your browser download a file that your computer/phone doesn't have an app to open.
The trick is in the player app, and Google for the most part leaves it to the app developers to develop.
The business aspect is that if Google starts developing lots of apps for Chromecast, developers may shy away from Chromecast development in fear that Google will do what their (paid) app is doing for free.

Oh didn't know that. Yeah I get what you mean.
I'm guessing you must use avia, all cast or real player ,
Could I ask which one do you prefer the most ?
How much online storage in GB do real player offer?? Edit 2GB!!!!! Is that it????
Does it support the other 50gb cloud storage , mega???
Thanks
You can get an additional 3GB (I think) from Real by completing a few tasks (just like Dropbox).
But I don't put my media online, it's all local. Still working out how to handle it, to be honest.
There's definitely lots of room in the Chromecast space.

I don't use Google Drive, so this may be idiotic - but can you paste the url directly into LocalCast and go from there?
