Qtek 9090, failed upgrade now dark screen.

I tried to upgrade my Qtek 9090 an failed.
At first i seemed to work. But then it stopped and said "connection error".
When I now boot my 9090 I only see a dark screen.
You can see "USB v2.06" in the background.
I have tried to upgrade again but with no good result.
Please help me!

I have searched about my problem.
It looks like my Qtek is stuck in "bootloader" mode.
To solve this it looks like I must get it to a repair shop?
Or I can get an external boot rom in to an SD-Card and insert in my Qtek.
Correct me if I am wrong.
So. How do I move on?
What file do have have to use?
Should the CD-Card be in the Qtek or kan I use en extarnat SD-Card writer from my PC?
I have the program Multi-port/USB TTY.
Please help me!

Looks like I fixed it my self.
I got an idea from another i this forum.
He told me to try upgrading again on a Computer wich have USB 2.0.
My computer have USB 2.0 and that did not work so I looked futher in to my trouble.
I took my girlfriends computer (AMD400mhz, Win98, USB1.1) and tried upgrading on that. Lucky for me the upgrade program found my Qtek 9090. But when upgradeing I got an error on my extended rom upgrade.
I tried again but exluding the exended rom file when upgrading and now it works.
I still would like to upgrade my Qtek with this rom file BA_WWE_BP_12200_169_10602_SHIP.zip but I will not do this unless I am shure this works.

ROM 1.22.00 WWE
ExtROM 1.22.126 WWE
Radio 1.06.00

Device not recognized by PC

Good day,
After 6 months of good relationship, my PC does not recognize my Alpine anymore. Cannot sync with cradle, or sync cable or IR.

I occasionally get this as well - just soft reset your XDAIIi.

I did try soft and hard reset. I also reinstalled Activesync. All without success.
I installed Activesync on another PC, I get the same message : "device not recognized", which makes me believe my O2 is really faulty.
Help appreciated.

a big problem in bluetooth on my XDA IIS

every time i turn on my bluetooth on my xda IIs and after 15 seconds it turns off automaticly and gives me a warning window which says :
(( BTTrayCE Sorry ! Bluetooth can no longer be used because the license is expired .

Which rom do you use ?

there are some thngs that you may do, you may try hard resettng the device (power+reset), or you may try rom upgrade, there are newer roms available

i tried to upgrade to other roms
also i tried the hard reset many times
the same problem
it's a very strange problem

you can download bluetooth stack only and install it you can find it in ftp

now i upgraded to rom :

ROM DATE : 03/10/05
RADIO VERSION : 1.12.00
PROTOCOL VERSION : 1337.42
EXTROM VERSION : 1.40.237 WWE
and still the same problem in bluetooth :?

Try tmobile NL 1.42 rom extrom 1.42.119 i am sure it works
i will make simple explaination for upgrade procedure so if you make a mistake we can figure it out more easy
1. download the rom from here
2. extract it using winrar to your computer
3. download MaUpgradeUt_noID from here
4. extract it to the same folder in which you extracted the rom
5. put your device into bootloader mode (pressing power+reset+record buttons at the same time until "Serial" shows on display)
6. put your device in the cradle
7. run MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe
8. after upgrade press reset to leave bootloader mode
that is all

HELP!!! - Can't pair O2 BT Headset

Hi There.
I have successfully upgraded the ROM and Radio using Pug's ROM.
Please can someone explain why after the successful upgrade I cannot pair the original O2 Bluetooth handsfree. XDAIIi detects the O2 BT, but after entering the passcode it keeps “waiting for the device” and errors out. The same behavior occurred before the upgrade. There is nothing wrong with the BT – it works fine with O2 mini. Also my XDAIIi works fine with other BTs ie Motorola.
I hoped that upgrading ROM and Radio would fix it. What else could be wrong?

Cant' Downgrade from Win2003 SE GER to ENG

I want to upgrade to Win Mobile 6 and have read this post forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=630416
First i need to downgrade/move from the German to English Version ROM.
But it's not working. At step 11. it never shows me the Rom Version. Nothing.
I tried several times, i did everything step by step, no luck at all...
I own an iMac and tried this with Win XP via Bootcamp and VMWare Fusion. I have no problem to run Active Sync, the MDA is recognized, no known problems. Expect for the uprade.
My girlfriend has an windows 7 PC, should i try it?
I am at my wit's end and need your help.

i'm sorry for the inconvenience. i know about that bug, somehow the english rom i posted there, has a crc error. either you try the method for non-english roms and install the extrom unlocker and rename the Programme\ folder to Program files\ or you download an english rom from www.xplode.tk, xplode's shipped rom archive. i will exchange that rom for a working one, some time, when i got more time on my hands.
