I got it - I got it!! In a few minutes, I´ll flash it, and then I give it the hole program of my usual tests. It´s good to have a second Hima for such a case.
I thought of leaning to cook myself but athers and swampys cooking lessons stuck, so this is the right thing to fill my long summernights.
I try to give some infos how things are going asap.

\Speicherkarte is still \Storage Card so some changes have to be made to install some progis like: sclcp++ and ftouch. Adding contacts is working in This ROM!!
After soft-reset you have to change to german keyboard again everytime.
Screen Rotate-fix and serialusbfn.dll-fix is missing and has to be added by yourself via cab files.
Sorry i found no working Hima-version of large titelbar/start menu as it is working in my old German ROM by teijalk. If someone has got one Please send me a link I miss it.
I installed jbed and Opera Mini german and made it Default Browser and it works like hell -- super fast and stable.
Don´t know why but I can´t install a running version of Sprite backup, maybe my fault.
Still don´t know what "Verwaltete Programme" are.
The comm Manager/Verbindungsmanager in teijalk´s ROM is in German and looks nicer.
After Screen Rotade Fix you can´t align the touchscreen without deinstalling the fix, but no prob.
No way to get SDK working. Well I don´t it - so it´s nod bad.

Too bad that ather is stuck in his cooking lesson. This ROM is worth to be improved and recooked.
Sorry swampy395, after ten years of en-lesson in school my skills in your nice language is still to bad to understand your readme files 100%. But to cook a working ROM, I think, you have to know it for sure what your are doing.
I keep trying to go your way to recook, till I know what´s your way to use your language.

HTCHome.v2_1_1005722_s0-alldevice_ger.cab is working fine, and
emunutz HTC Home customizer v1.o (HHCv10Final.CAB) does a great job.

I noticed the HTC network wizard does not work automatically, you have to start it by yourself and choose your network.
Complaint:
Please don't change the "natural" entries in the program menu. This causes all sorts of problems, e.g. with the Contact and Calendar buttons.

Well - that´s what it´s for!
Enter your network operator (you should be aware which you use) and the wizard does the setting for GPRS a.s.o.

Nope. It's supposed to recognize your SIM card and choose the correct network provider automatically, see other roms.

Rom Update not successfull ...
Hi ... I'm new in installing ROMs on the XDA (especially on my T-Mobile MDA-II), so please excuse my noobidity.
I've tried to install this new German-Rom and use the included HimaUpgradeUt_noID.exe to update the ROM of my MDA - but with no success. (Message after a while: "There has been a problem while updating your Pocket PC")
When I try to install the latest released T-Mobile MDA ROM, everything works fine.
I also tried to install the new nk.nbf with the HimaUpgradeUt.exe which is included in the working T-Mobile Package, but as expected I get a Country-Version Conflict Message.
Any Idea how I can install the new ROM on my MDA or what I have done wrong?

[Edit:] After I find out what was meant with "Boot-Loader" and how to get there, I was able to install the ROM ... and ... it's realy great.

you were getting this error on WM6 because since WM2003 you cannot directly update the ROM, you have to Enter Bootloader...but its good that you helped your self

Problems after uninstalling "TouchFlo2d/Manilla BETA"

After uninstalling this cab I have problems with the settings on my Today screen. The "Start" have changed (big letters, big icons
), the HTC Task has changed (big icons, no names of the runnig programms) and I can not add contacts to my HTC Home tab. Please, can somebody help me to solve this problems? I habe uninstalled the cab with SKTools.

i think you must not delete the cab with sktools.. After my Uninstall failed
i have made a new install ... and than i uninstall with SKTools .. with the
integratet tool to uninstall complete programms..
after that my big icon and htc task is away like i want .

Another trick i read in an other thread:
install it... and after that.... try once more to install the cab..
than installer says: i must befor uninstall old version..... you say yes...
than if its ready.... he ask you where to install ( on memory or sd card ..)
at this moment you break the installation....
try it...

I have got the anwser that he is unable to uninstall the previous version. :-(

sktool is ok.. for me... everything looks like bevor i install m2d.
Only one Porblem : tomtom 6. if i close tomtom after a navigation
my Kaiser only runs after a reset.

Problem with Tom Tom 6 and Manilla
Just loaded up TomTom 6 and Garmins new Manilla 2d rom. Problem is tom tom causes the screen to go black and wont run. Will not run on this.

i had the same problem so i backed up what i wanted to , then did a hard reset all clean

Somewhere I have a CAB posted by hang.tuah to revert back to the normal menu but cannot find it. It's somewhere in the 101 pages of ROMeOS thread.

GPS prgrams problem (IGO 06+miomap)

Dear all,
thanks allot for helping me in previous issues but i have a very big problem which is that i have tytnII ( Kais 100 ) SPL-3.29.0000 and ROM Version:3.29.422.1 WWE
and changes it to 3.28.405.0 WWE and Hard SPL-3.29
and when i install the two programs IGO2006 Plus and MIOMAP
they intstall but when i click on the programs icon any of them they didn't starts
Note: i have already installed them to the previous ROM and the worked great
BUT after changing the ROM and the SPL the didn't
hope you can help me
and if any one please have the ROM:3.29.422.1 WWE please post it because i can't find it anywhere thanks
by the way if any one know any good GPS program that contains Egypt maps i will be very very very grateful

I have the same problem but never used HTC Home so this doesn't apply. If I soft reset and start iGO right away it will work, but apparently as soon as I start using the device a bit something will further prevent it from loading. I've tried lots of things but never found what.

Valkyrie_v5.1 FireStorm and Igo 8 GPS

I can not get Igo 8 work with this rom! Anyone have Igo 8 and this rom working together? If yes could you post your data.zip and sys file?

I found a data.zip and sys file on this forum somewhere , i placed that 2 file in the igo8 folder! Now im able to start the program , but is always get frozen on the main igo 8 screen! Then i have to reset my phone...
Any suggestion?

I use Igo 8 GPS on Valkyrie_v5.1 and they work fine together.
I think there is a problem about your installation files.

I have been using iGo8 with several different ROMS; Touch-it, Valkyrie, Untamed and some others without any problems
Lately I have been using only the Valkyrie LEO family ROMs and my iGo 8 is always responsive, no problems whatsoever.

Use TOMTOM it always work fine.

I was able to install the program from memory card , the IGO8 icon is showing up under programs....

well i have strange long instal iGO but after 10 - 15 min its finis its self...so just let iGO instal and wait to finish(look like its frezz but just keep it)

Solution
I have searched this forum in find out how to manage this problem.
- first try to disable the function Quick GPS. there is an option for QuickGPS( disable here the internet connection).
- after you have disabled QuickGPS delete the file xtra.bin (from Temp/ and from Windows/)
- run the Soft Reset.
Never use this option Quick GPS.
For me this "solution" works.

Hi, there no problem to change. Remove default navigation program (it's very bad that it's imposible remove via program removal... you need to delete it via delete menu) and install your TomTom or other. I'm using iGO 8, very good user interface and new maps.

Hi... I have both navi-systems on my phone TomTom and Igo8
just need one of this to use in the NaviPanel....
And both Navisystems run ok here to....
