This thread is not "supported" by xda developers per say. Eqx posted in an effort to avoid the problems tupisdin's thread had in the Blackstone forum. Although, if he were a scammer, this post would be history by now.

CID unlocking nowadays (since the hermes/trinity days anyhow) means you have Hard SPL to flash custom ROMs (I suppose it could also mean using a Goldcard to change language). (See FAQ #3 for my explanations)
So no, you won't have this until OliNex release one.

cmonex and olipro have offered up to get the proper video drivers and a sim unlocker done for the kaiser. they though have asked u guys the community to get them a kaiser they could use to do the development of the drivers and unlocker. cmonex has previous experience in doing driver hacking so she would find a way to hack the current video drivers to be used more efficiently and to use the full power of the kaiser. olipro u guys all know from the hermes forums for his unlocked and hardspl but this time around the new securities require he have a device to be able to unlock it. if they wont succedd in any of these 2 then they will give back the kaiser.

i would repost it but idk if it isnt off topic bc that was for how much people are willing to chip into the bounty. u can add to first post of bounty thread though. cmonex who would be lead developer of the video driver said it should be just a mod to existing video drivers after looking at what core people are saying. she says shes willing to do it just needs a kaiser and the bounty would be nice after shes done bc it will take some time and she is a student too.
SIM unlocker? Who needs that? I just called AT&T and they gave me my unlock code withing 5 minutes.

I would guesstimate that Tilt users account for less than half of the users in this forum. There are more world-wide users here using the MDA Vario III and the TyTN II and I am quite sure they would love to have an unlocked phone.
Actually I would say tilt users are the majority
Who cares about the sim locker. You guys don't have to argue about that so much, the more important thing here is the drivers.

she doesnt want to compete and is open to collaboration but needs a device to be able to do anything. she has extensive dll modding skills so it shouldn't be too hard of a job for her.

Perhaps a user with more than one device (I have seen many of them post, I would volunteer if I had more than 1) would be willing to loan the extraneous unit out?

i was playing with imei-check.co.uk's kaiserv1unlock.exe program. the code above is what goes into the kaiser/tilt puls some info and pastes a file with an extention .ued.
past this point i am lost on 2 counts.
one: i am not a programer that understands the code above
two: i don't know or have a program that reads file extentions ending in .ued
hopefully this might help out or not.
if not sorry i am trying but again i am not a programmer.

All that that code does is copy your imei and save it in a file with a ued extension. It's a bunch of fluff.

Hi All,
I live in Egypt and i got my herald from Mobinil , it was working with windows mobile 5 and was unlocked for all networks.
Then i upgraded it with the HTC windows mobile 6 official rom and now its only unlocked for mobinil!!! when i inserted my vodafone sim it said enter network code!! i tried other roms from here but its still locked!!
any suggestions??

i have a problem i have a kpn locked htc wings but i am not long enough by the profider to get a free unlock code from them i need to be 1 year by that profider befor i get 1 and i need to unlock my wings becuase i am going to vodafone and that sim doesnt work in the wings

The Hard SPL should allow it.
I must say though back up the Orange system before doing the change as they won't look at the phone or accept it back if it doesn't have the stock orange ROM on it.
As yet no Super CID has been released so you can't unlock the phone without paying to do so. There is a thread on it already.
All this info is easily found with the search function and most if not all are on the first page of this forum.

I found this in the ROM Developer section, It would appear that there is no free solution as yet, but im sure the Developers are working on it so eyes peeled and all that!

Hello i very seriously considering buying the diamond on an orange contract- However i intend to use the phone with my 02 CPW sim because it has unlimited web so the question is if i have this phone unlocked how much would it cost? and if i had it locked will i be able to use all the features inc email, internet sync with microsoft exchange as per usual?

seach google for diamond sim unlock..... i think it $10(not sure)
and yes u can still use all the features!!!
Check the first sticky in the Diamond Rom Development thread, one of our experts has a proper site set up for it, cheap and 100% effective.
and just to confirm, yes, all features are usuable, it just releases the sim lock on the device to accept all operators.

I want to replace the phone in German language with English language that does not change the rom and I do not shop
sorry, but there is no way to switch the languag to english without changing the rom.
so you have to search this forum for a ROM that suits your purpose, and flash it onto your device. everything installed right now get's lost, and you also have to backup your contacts/sms/mails ,...
I also replaced the german ROM on my device with an english one. I had no problems at all.

watch phones linked to IMEI number so that if the test ban will hardspl regardless of whether it is successful, so next to each phone that unlocks everything but do not try the other IP address immediately unlocks rom, and the happiness
