Missing soft touch installation - Touch Pro, Fuze Themes and Apps

Hello.
I have the problem, that at the menue of setting up new functions for the both soft touch fields, there is no possibility to choose the two buttons. The field above at the settings menue is empty.
What can be the reason for this?
Thank you for all the kind help!

Question about the hardware buttons

Hi everyone,
I was wondering... is it possible to change the hardware buttons permanently? I mean, if I do a soft reset, the button are mapped back to their original settings. Do I have to modify the registry and how?
I would prefer a solution that does not require software if possible.
Thx !!
hahahaha, it's all software. Even the OS!
Maybe I wasn't clear...
I mean "I prefer a solution that does not require additional software". Is there a setting in the OS (maybe a registry hack) to change the buttons mapping?
hi atzakas,
after softreset buttons should not be mapped back, they should be as you mapped them in Settings.
They are mapped back if you do hard-reset, but that is understandible, you can't hack it.
you can also check this app with 40 additional commands for hardware buttons:
http://handster.com/product.php?id=6
there you can map to buttons things like: switch programs (Alt-Tab), backlight loop, new task, new appointment, etc
Regards,
Victor
Thanks for the reply, but I wouldn't have asked if it was so simple.
I change the button settings, then do a soft reset and the settings are back to the original settings.
I guess I'll have to live with that
i experienced the same problem with an O2 XDA IIi, however, this is cured misteriously recently

cannot load phone keypad

Hi,
I cannot change my default text entry type to anything other than compact qwerty, which sucks. If I go to settings>input and change it, and go back in to the menu, it goes straight back to qwerty!!! ARRGH!!
Also, I cannot even select any other entry method manually - when I press the little arrow next to the keypad symbol, it just brings up the keypad.
Anyone else had this?
W
ps touchflo disabled - cos it sucks...
BUMP! please help!
Did you sort this out as my Diamond is doing exactly the same!

Great, thanks indeed!

Can't change input method

I'm having this annoying problem lately. I can't change the active SIP anymore. It used to work (press on the small triangle next to the SIP show/hide icon), but now I press it and no selection comes up. It's really frustrating.
I can only change the default SIP by altering the registry, but then I have to reboot, so I don't like this approach.
Has anybody else experienced this?
Yes I have this problem. Just go into the help menu on the start tab and there will be the little keyboard on the bottom right this one seems to work on my Diamond but nowhere else.

Input method problem - no keyboard change

Hello, it's my first post, I would like just to say hello.
I've searched forum but I haven't found solution to my problem. As said in the title, I cant change text input method. Whatever I choose, the option comes back to full qwerty mode. Am I doing something wrong? Or should I take some additional steps to get it working?
Regards, fck.
Input methods...
How are you trying to change the input methods? I may be missing the obvious, or you may be, so we'll start at the top.
Open up any app where you can access the SIP's (soft input panels)... try Word or Notes. Tap the keyboard icon at the bottom centre of the screen, now tap the tiny arrow to the right of the icon and choose an option here.
Let me know what this does
Ah! Thank you very much! It does work. I was changing it in settings/input/then chosen keyboard. However, it still doesn't work for me to change input method from settings tab. Why? The same problem occurred on stock t-mobile rom and so as on custom one..
