I'm trying to find a useable TouchFlo3D as well as ROMs to use. I'm using the factory Verizon WM6.1 with GPS hacked. Everything works fine with this rom except for the TouchFlo app. Changing Themes and such within the TF3D app just doesn't work. I'm assuming because my phone is a Touch Pro and not a Diamond?

Hi Marius -
You are looking at two different pieces of software on that phone.
The first one is the HTC Home screen for the TyTNII, which HAS been copied over to the Trinity. You can tell if that is the home screen used in the ROM because it will usually be shown as HTC Home Kaiser or something similar. You can also install this using a standalone CAB file. Search the board to find the cab, it's in the Trinity WM6 portion of the board.
The second one is a piece of software called Touchflo. The real Touchflo software requires that the touchscreen hardware be the same as the Kaiser or the HTC Touch. Those two phones use different touchscreen hardware (physical chips and the digitizer screen) than the Trinity. So, no one has been successful using the real Touchflo software on the Trinity, and probably never will.
However, there have been some attempts to get the same functions from other software. I've seen something called alphatouchflo, and there are other packages. Note that they do not have all of the same functionality. For example, I haven't seen any of them that could allow use f the scrolling feature to replace sidebar scrolling. I've only seen good scrolling of a third-party contacts list (see PocketCM as an example). This software is also available in a standalone CAB file if you like.
There is a thread devoted explicitly to using Touch Flo on the Trinity in the WM 6 section. If you take a minute or two you can easily find it.
Good luck!
Mike
yes... but i`m looking for rom. the rom have htc home screen instaled in it.
and in this video the scrolling works perfect... i read on the htc p3600 this "tochflo" have some problems. but on other devices these cooked rom with "touchflo" work good. i still looking and waiting for a good rom wm6(not a aplication "touchflo"). now i have wm5.

Hi Marius -
The other devices that use Touchflo have different hardware which is why the Touchflo works for them. The device shown in the video is the HTC Prophet series, which uses the same touch screen as the Kaiser/TyTN II (which is different form the Trinity). You will not find any software or ROMs that can run the Touchflo software on the Trinity. As far as CAB software compared to a ROM, the only difference is in the method of installing. It doesn't matter if you install the software using a CAB file or if it is already included in a ROM, except that you can remove software installed using a CAB if you don't like it.
I suggest you continue watching the thread about Touchflo on the Trinity in the WM6 folder. That thread contains the most current information about using Touchflo on the Trinity.

ok.. thanks for informations
I noticed that a group got the HTC Startrek running WM Pro edition really well and was wondering if maybe we can see a version running on the Vox or Wings possibly. With an actual keyboard to work with it may be easier using the Wing or Vox compared to the Startrek.
Anyone else wanting pro edition running on their device? I know I do
I wonder why?!
nehhh
Pro is for touchscreen.
Why should we, nothing different.
Only that you than can install PPC apps and don't can install smartphone apps.
Is that nice?
Correct me iff I'm wrong.
you can install some sp apps, for example total commander

Sorry,but you are wrong...
Most SP-Apps wont install, because there are differences in some Cab-Configs, but most of them works well...
The PRO OS works well on SP, the OS is nearly useable like Standart, (no big differences, you can navigate with dpad+softkeys on ppc, too...)
It is like a PPC with the lack of a Touchscreen, you can carry most of the PPC apps you love, but not be able to install on your Standart-SP...
...and the WINGS got a qwert y/z Keypad...ideal to use as SIP...
Ive a StarTrak and a Tornado, both are running PRO, i like it, sure, its not useable like a PPC with Touchscreen, but nice to have...
Thank you for correcting me.
I know a little more now.
Who can help?Ive extracted some Roms, copied the sys-Folder,moved the coredll, reallocate all items with GReloc, read all threads...every time after flashing, the phone stucks in BootScreen (BlackOne with red letters..)
Someone else try?Impossible for me to port a PRO Rom to WINGS...
Use the Kaiserkitchen to dump+rebuild a WINGS/KAISER ROM..!
Interested
If this port could be done, it would be very great ! I'm not able to help you doing this because I don't have experience in ROM cooking or porting, but if WM6.1 Pro could run on my Wings, I think I would use it ...
Could be done....i am sure...but not by me...
For now, the pro OS runs well on StarTrak,Typhoon and Tornado...but WINGS and VOX are the perfect Phones to run on PRO...
But can the PRO version be navgated using keys only?
Yes,the pure OS did not really need a Touchscreen...some 3rd Apps need the advice of SPHelper or FakeCursor...or a little MortScript...
The SIP is a small issue,->maybe solved by Sliding Keyboard....
But the main phone is useable like a StandartSP...
alcaline,....... please,please,...... give it a try....

Yes! That's why I am so interested ... I prefer the Pro version of WM to the Standard one, but I don't like touch screens, and as arpy said WM Pro doesn't need obsolutly touch screen, except some third party softwares
Hey! I was just wondering if anyone else had the same issue with wm6.1 and SBP Plus! It seems that it makes the phone freeze/crash after a reset and the settings are lost once in awhile! I tried custom roms and HTC stock ones and seems they all had this issue... After unninstaling the today plugin from SBP Plus the problem disappears...
P.S: Was curious that after several crashes on start up the SBP Plus today plugin would be disable automatically
Do you mean SPB Pocket Plus ?
The current version doesn't official support WM 6.1.
The next update to 4.0.3 will.
You just have to wait.
I have 4.0.2 working OK on my HTC rom 6.1
also Phone Suite, Mobile Shell, and Weather
not had any crashes (thankfully)
OK, here's the thing.
I'm sure most of you have stumbled upon the XBmod Manila HD port for the Diamond: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=470164
If not, take a look.
Anyhow, I'm using an unbranded HTC Touch Pro with a stock ROM. The installation goes through nicely, and asks for a reboot.
After it reboots, the loading icon shows up for a minute, and then I'm getting an error regarding the Loader.exe. If I press details, it says that some files are missing, but does not mention which files.
My question is: has anyone successfully installed and is using the Manilla HD on a stock ROM Touch Pro?
Any ideas on what may be the difference between the Diamond and Touch Pro that could cause this issue?
Thanks!
the only problem is when you flip to landscape, it still tries to display portrait. this ca n be fixed by opening the program you want in portrait, then slide out keyboard, it will flip to landscape. then when you're done, flip back and exit. if you've got some patience, herg is working on hd manila specifically for tpro. can be found here:

Thanks for the info!
Spec's
Sprint Touch Pro Jigga's ROM...
HD Manila runs just fine, even installed the extra tab cab XBmod had going...so now got's me 15 tab HD.
Stocks are nice, and he's stretched the weather out a bit...
I did miss Jigga's cooked in Zoom In / Zoom Out Text, so I re-installed that from the customizing TF3D thread, and can report that this does work on HD...
Good Stuff!
I never installed the loader or anything, just make sure your on-screen keyboard is open when you are about to hit ok to activate TF3D as your today screen plugin. Pop's up in about 5-seconds...

Hi can you post the cab from Jigga, please?
Thx in advance
Why not just run the new TF3D2 on your phone instead...

I saw this post about installing the *NEW* Touch Flo 3D from the Touch Pro II onto a pocket PC (link below). Has anyone trid this on a AT&T Fuze (Touch Pro), does it work cleanly? Any problems?
http://pocketpc-live.com/pocket-pc/how-to-install-touch-flo-3d-from-touch-pro-ii.html
Thanks
yes it runs clean(suggest XBMOD TF3D 2.1) if u want just the touchflo, but for me though after flashing EnergyROM with 2.1 Manila TF3D which is VERY similar to the ones on TP2 and Diamond2 it ran soo much better, just expect that manila wont auto rotate, you have to configure it yourself using a change screen software....
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=542113
Read through the first page.. Thats the newest release V2.1.5
It also explains how to get it to auto rotate.
The cab file for 2.1.5 should be out any day now. 2.1 is released already though. But just wait for the newest one is what I would recommend
