does any body know how to make footprints to work with another gps program like garmin mobile xt?
Even better question...

Which CAB did you use... did u have to install anything else to get it to work... etc, etc, etc?????

You can find the cab in the m2d iolite version here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=398173
I install it just fine in my kaiser.
there are a lot of files in that iolite thread - can you get us a bit closer to the location of the footprints cab?
That's what I'm saying.

It installed for me, showed an icon in the multimedia folder, but wouldn't start up at all.
I think I'm about ready to give the hell up on this one.
I have a stock Kaiser ROM, does that make a difference??
i have a stock (Vodafone) 6.1 ROM too but it runs OK. I'm just not sure what the app actually does

I've been seeing all of these roms with touchflo integrated into them but I don't want to flash my Wizard again to a different rom just for TouchFlo, seeing as I'm perfectly happy with my current ROM, basically I am just wondering where I can find the latest version of touchflo, I've searched but all of the posts I find with it are from last year.
I think this is what your looking for. Give it a try.

I guess I should have asked a better question..........right now I am running SPB Mobile shell.........what would be the difference if I added this?
Thanks, this is ALL new to me
If you're using SPB Mobile Shell, there isn't much use for it. Touchflo just lets you scroll (like in File Explorer) through the items using your fingers. You can also see demos of it on Youtube if you search for it.

i have downloaded the touch flo pro. the u have atatshed and insteulled it in my k-jam but i don't know how to use it

I installed it as well, you need to go into programs, and enable it. The only thing that I noticed was that it allowed me to do as stated above, let me scroll through things, it conflicted with my SPB Mobile shell though, so I uninstalled it.

TNT 20273 doesn't have touchflo so install the file ASerg HTC scroling atached right down.
it lets you scroll with sound... then instal the cube fully works vista skin it enables the cube...
You dont need to enable it men, just in Advanced config enable sound and touch flo enable all of this options.
good luck.
the cube Fully works
sorry it is so heavy to upload so just search in forum search tool " poorlyduck vista cube" download and install it.

Just tried.
It works but screen is no good
HTC Touch Cruise is Qvga and X1 WVGA.
If we can sorted that out then maybe.
I will try to get the files from my phone to check the XML.
Any success yet to get Footprints to work?
As I am travelling a lot it would be a great gadget to play with.
Thank in advance for your efforts.
I'll have a look but I think it's unlikely as it appears to use it's own camera app, and everything is in QVGA
@fards
I'm running agent's valkyrie 2.6 leo on X1a
The footprints tab is there but engine can't be opened.
The changelog states it isn't operational.
What is the reason/reasons?

Footprint as an apps is working (not as TF3D tab) since we already solved the camera problem w/ HD or Rhodium camera apps.
This version of Footprint is based on.......HTC_Footprint_1.01822.3925 (This is the 2D Manilla version, but will work with TF3D)
I have done some modifications to make this work on my Fuze, but it should work just fine on the Touch Pro, or Diamond. Currently this version does NOT have the "Footprint Tab" on the home screen. I don't have lots of time on my hands so bear with me on updates. If anyone wishes to step in and modify it more, its all yours.

I believe it's the new HTC Footprints app. It uses GEOTagging on your photos to help allow you to track when and where they were taken easier.
For the record.
Working on:
Stock ROM on a AT&T Fuze does work.
Conflippers ROM on a Alltel Touch Pro does work.
GC's 2.1.4 ROM on a Sprint Touch Pro does work.
Merdinh 3.2 ROM on a Sprint Touch Pro does work.
PROven 1.4a ROM on a AT&T Fuze does work.
Stock ROM on a Sprint Touch Pro does work.
Not Working on:
Custom ROM on a GSM Diamond does not work. <Xboxmod tried 4 different ROM's>
Lantis OS 3.01 ROM on a Touch Pro does not work.
As I get more information, I'll update.

So if we have TouchFlo3D installed, then we shouldn't try it? I was thinking its a standalone Install?
I could be wrong, but I don't think there is even an actual TF3d version of "Footprint" and is only in 2D.
This cab will work on TF3D or 2D. It does NOT include the "Footprint" Tab on the Home screen though, so NO its NOT a full Manilla install. This is simply a standalone cab. Shortly you will see it built into some ROM's.
Tried it
Ok I tried it, and it did work, but as you had mentioned, the above errors or glitch are still present. Its a nice job tho, and I appreciate your effort. Can't wait for a complete working build
hi

it say trusted certificate!!!
do you have an idea why?
i've just install your cab no m2d or something related.

You probably need to install the sdkcerts.cab
I am assuming the error is something along the lines of "program cannot be installed because its not digitally signed by a trusted certificate"
I will attach a cab in the SECOND POST.
Works Great
I just tried the second version and it works fine with my TomTom 7. But I want to know something, must it always try to plan the route? I had the impression it would just locate the place on a map and that's it. Any chance of an implementation with Google Maps ? I don't want to ask much.
But the other 2 problems are still there. The picture taken is out of place. But GPS works Great
Great work Men Kudos

Finally got a chance to install and try but can't get past the error,
"The file 'HTCFootprint.exe' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file."
I also have installed the SDKcerts.cab but don't see them listed in the licensing section on the phone.

all you do is change the standard skin zip either in windows/opera9/skin or application data/opera9/skin
you will need a vga version and place in the file and you are now vga ready
I can say I use it and it works great. I just have an issue with java at times. Says its blocked and I cant figure out how to unblock it. I have the fuze.
So I Lied... accidently.
I had the previous version installed with the slider zoom button. I installed this one and it doesnt seem right. Everything on the pages are small... when I go to the settings they arent the right size way way small. How do I correct this? With a VGA skin or were you saying thats what you had done? Cause really there's no zoom slider on this either so you cant zoom in on the webpages
sorry you will need the opera.ini and opera1.ini from vga as well to fix screen size.

You should notice a few things different. The start up cursor for one is different. It has an almost knight rider red light thing going on there. When you're in the program select the bottom right button which will pop up a menu. In that menu select help then, about opera. Thats where you'll be able to see if the install was successfull. It should say Build 15756.
On a side note... I have noticed that whenever I soft reset my phone opera now opens automatically and starts on google (my default home page) That's sort of a pain but whatever... livable as I dont soft reset a lot. When I go to actually launch the browser, unless I am using one of the short cuts in TF3D it opens to opera:blank and NOT google, which is my default homepage (as stated before) Does anyone else have this issue?
