Hi I installed OGSYNC (a sync app with google calendar) but I didn't like it so I uninstalled it. however, now when I reboot my phone or turn it on, when TF3D is loading, an error message always pops up saying "OGSYNC.EXE"
"The file cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate or one its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file."
How do I get rid of this message? Thanks.
if it's showing up when you're starting the phone, then go to Windows/StartUp and delete shortcut for OGSYNC...
sometimes when I delete some files, and then want to uninstall program which used those files, I cannot get rid of them in Add/Remove, but I hard reset my phone once a month, so it's not an issue for me

Hi,
Whenever I delete any message from the TF3D screen using the right soft key options Menu>Delete, it gets deleted permanently from the device(does not show up even in the "Deleted Items" of the Messaging Folders. Although it asks for the confirmation first, but wouldn't it have been better if the message went into the deleted items folder first?(just the way it happens in Messaging)
Any way to make TF3D Delete option behave like the delete option of the Messaging application?
Thanks.
I have noticed the same on my phone, but didn't realise it was related to deleting via TF3D. Have you found a solution yet?
No...no solutions yet.
Still no solutions to this, as this is driving me mad.
I like to keep my Inbox 'clean' and sometimes delete to quickly but go to deleted items to recover the message. This doesn't happen anymore, so once it's gone, it's gone.
Anyone know of a tweak?
I solved this by changing my active sync settings...I made it so reconcillation did not keep changes on my phone...only allows deleion on my computer microsoft server owA account
Is this the same for SMS, as this is what I'm referring to. Apologies for not be clear first time around.
go into advance config and under the MESSAGING tab, make sure "Max deleted SMS" is not set to 0. If it is, everything you delete will be deleted permanently and will not be in the deleted items box. It's funny because I hate having to empty out the deleted items box everytime i delete a text...i want it to be gone immediately.
For emails if you go to Tools - Options - Storage tab just change the 'Empty deleted items' to 'manually' then I presume you should be able to do it from your PC.
If that doesn't work on its own then also add 'deleted items' as a sync folder (menu - Tools - Manage Folders) so then should definitely work...
I'm pretty frustrated by now, tried everything but i can't get it to work. Here's the thing:
When i came home from my holiday i tried syncing my diamond as it always has worked. It;s connected and all and i can see the device in mobile device center, i had to reenter the things i wanted to sync but well... so I did.
But now it wont sync, it gives the error 0x80004005 but looking into google doesnt help at all.
I need my calendar en contacts to sync, who can help
Simply uncheck the Calendar, Contacts, Email, Tasks settings in the ActiveSync options and that will force the phone to delete all synched content. Then re-check all those boxes and fresh copies of all the data will be downloaded. It appears something was corrupted on the phone, causing ActiveSync to fail.

Didn't work :-(
Thx for the reply, but it doesn't work. Indeed it seems like something is corrupted, i even tried a new rom but it doesn't work. My idea was to do a format on everything but all i can fiund is the info on how to go back to manufacturer and format nand....
Ho do i move along?
Hey all,
I've been dabbling with the XAndroid releases here and have got the XDANDROID.2.2.AOSP.25.07.10 working on my HTC TD2.
However, I'm trying to access the Marketplace and everytime I tap to load it, a white screen comes up for a couple of seconds and then disappears again, showing the desktop (or apps menu) and there's no indication of anything having loaded or working.
I can do this repeatedly without having to reset my HTC; same thing happens each time. There is no error message.
Anyone have any idea or tips or could I be missing the actual Marketplace app? Or should I use a different ext2?
Thanks all.
I upgraded my system with the latest build yesterday (setup is here), and I had the same problem.
I also found out that my Google Account had been removed from the sync setup.
However, after I rebooted I did get a Google Account prompt when starting Marketplace, and after entering my login information it launched without a problem.
Maybe you could also try adding your Google account to the phone?
My mistake,
It's not working for me either after all. I replaced the system.ext with the one from 2.2 beta 2 and then it worked.
I've got the same problem as you:a white screen shows for a few seconds, and then the home screen shows.
Also, as I stated before, my google mail sync account has been removed, and I can't seem to re-add it. When I go to Gmail I get a message that the account has not been configured for auto-sync. Menu > Refresh doesn't do anything. Menu > Accounts shows "Gmail, 0 accounts". The Add Account button displays a black screen with "Add an account" at the top.

Yes, this seems to fix it.
Thanks tommy1994.
Now working perfectly. (Just for others, I decided to update to the latest release too.)
Last night I was going through deleting bloatware from N3 and deleted a few calender entries, they had the old green calender logo and I use the blue current google calender so I figured I was safe. Now no calenders show up under my account within the app, under accounts it doesn't have a checkbox to check for the calender to even sync.
I've searched and tried various things to no avail. Any help is greatly appreciated.
So far I've tried to take the apk from gapps and move it to system/apps. I can install the googlecalender.apk but the calenderstorage.apk fails to install. I've also tried to use another gmail account and get that to sync. When I do that calender sync shows up (when it asks what you want to sync with checkboxes) but it shows up as com.android.calender (or something similar) whereas all of the other options show up normally (Sync Contacts, Sync Pictures etc) and after I let it sync the calender it just says sync has encountered error and then that option disappears totally.
I've also tried to restore an old calenderstorage I had on tibu and that doesn't work either. I've spent much of the day reading and trying various things to no avail. Would a factory reset do the trick? If I factory reset do I lose root? If I have to factory reset I will but I don't want to go through the hassle if it's not a sure thing.
I was on Titanium Backup and I wanted to get rid of the stock calendar app because I use the Google calendar one so I decided to remove a calendar file. I rebooted and the app wasn't initially gone but when I tried opening the Google app all of my events we're missing and when I tried creating a new event it stays loading.
Initially after reinstalling the app I always get one error message. But it only appears right after I reinstall the app.
If anybody has had this issue what can I do? Do I have to odin and reset my s6?
