Your problem has been discussed several times before.
Button line is the SD card make, if it is not Sandisk its highly unlikely that it would function in the SD card flashing method.

Different Roms on SD Card / quick swap?

Is it possible to just swap SD Cards with different ROMS and reboot - poof , new ROM Loaded no problem, or is there something special i need to do?
So say, one Hero rom, one other random one, switch, reboot, will it load properly without having to do anything?
Bump . Please reply
no, the rom is not held on the card, it is held in the phone's internal memory. You wouldnt like the speed if it were on the sd card!
check out switchrom.. all you need is there

Flashing from sd card Problem

Hallo,
i cooked many ROMs and every time i try to flash using SD Card (8GB), but without any sucess, it does not find any ROM to flash!
I renamed the cooked ROM to blacimg.nbh (also tried blackimg.nbh), copy to SD Card, Rebo0t into Bootloader mode (Power + Volume Down), it reboots and search for ROM then change to serial (usb)

Which file did you rename to blacimg.nbh (that's correct and not blackimg.nbh)? Did you save it to the root of the sd card as suggested (although mine is in a folder and this also works)? Because the steps you are describing are correct and should work (work like that for me). The only thing I can think is that there is possibly something wrong with the file you are using. Is it one of your own cooked roms?

I do not know what is wrong!

faced the same prob long time ago with a old 4 Gb card...no matter what i've did was not able to flash. However I sugest to reformat your sd card (FAT 32 and not on your pc/laptop, do it with your phone) and then try again after formating, altough it may not help. to be sure that you are not doing wrong try another SD card if possible.
Another option to check your self is flashing with ActiveSync after formating.
Good Luck
p.s. It seems this is happening often if you used your SD card in another device
I'd a similar problem while flashing on my old P3300
To avoid the problem, I'm using a 1gb micro sd dedicate only to rom flashing but with a single partition of 256MB.
dunno if this could help u
cheers
I was having exactly same problem today when I tried to flash - mine's 8gb mini SD which came as a part of package from Orange, U.K.. I ended up using normal USB cable but I was wondering why it didn't work...

Fashing with some big SD >4gb could generate some issue. Use one small dedicated to that and format it first in Fat32.
Hi Carl, thanks for your advice - it actually worked like a charm. I didn't really thing 8gb would cause this problem. I used just a plain 2gb ScanDisk card, formatted in Fat 32 and put only blacimg.nbh following normal procedures - thank you very much again!
My 2 cents
I had a similar problem not long ago with my 8Gb Micro SD that came with the card. I'd re-formatted it via the PC and altered the default settings based on a thread I read on here which was supposed to speed up access to the card. If I remember correctly it was changing the default allocation size.
Long story short, reformatted back to default settings and I was able to flash again from SD. IMO it's moreso the format of the card, not so much it's size as I never had a problem with flashing from card before tweaking it's format settings.
SD Card
I always flash from my SD card.
My latest card is a 16Gb class4 SanDisk, and I must have flashed more than 50 times from this. I always put my blacimg.nbh file in the root of the card.
Size of the card is not important, it just have to be formated in FAT32.
There are several reports that some brands of card do not work very well with Windows Mobile.
One time I purchased a Kingston card that simply would not work.

Cannot flash from SD - "No Img File"

When I tryed to flash NRG rom from SD, (not my first time, so HARD-SPL.... etc. is done). I copied RHODIMG.NBH do root of SD as usual (but I've got new 16gb kinston class2 SD card), but when reset to bootloader, it says: "No img File" and reset back to bootloader.
Does anyone has a solution to solve this puzzle?
From what I know you can only flash through SD card if the memory card is 2gigs or less.
I can never flash a ROM with my 4gig but the same .nbh file works fine when put into my 2gig.
I flashed with my 8GB SanDisk some days ago, without any problems.
I had this once. I think this happenend because my storage card was called "Opslagkaart". (This is the dutch translation for "Storage card".)
If this is the case, then you just flash true usb and the next time you can just flash true the SD card.
Thank you to all for response. Looks like a SD cards' issue.
It's Almost Always an SD Card Issue
I have flashed a lot of ROMs from different SD cards. My SanDisk ones always work, my cheap-o, no name brands have issues. I don't know why but there you go. Storage capacity doesn't seem correlated to flashing success.
Works with a 16Gb
I flashed yesterday, several times, getting my defective TP2 ready for warranty replacement. No problems.
I think you may have a bad SD card.
formatting is also important

I assume that you formatted the new card to FAT 32...if not or you are not sure, reformat and try again.
just slide in your old one and flash it with that. and when your doen flashing pop in the 16gb
I had the same issue after buying a new 4gb microSD, searched the forums and found a suggestion that it was formatted as FAT not FAT32, after a quick format all worked fine

Milestone SD card problem

Hi everyone
Currently I'm experiencing an issue with my Micro SD card for my Milestone. Simply put, the phone always says that the card has been removed and unmounted.
At first i thought it was a software issue, however, when I booted to recovery and tried to run OR, it says that the card is not mounted and update.zip is not found. Therefore I'm inclined to think that this is indeed a hardware problem
tried another sd card, doesn't work. So i think the SD card slot is spoiled.
Is there anything that I can try? If motorola's phones are so unreliable that the sd card slot spoils without touching for 1 year, I will get rid of this phone. sad because Eyebee's MIUI is becoming a perfect rom to use.
Hello, I've had that problem with some class 6 cards, have you tried class 4 or class 2 cards?

Nexus One Thinks All SD Cards Are Blank

I'm having a weird problem with a Nexus One. It had a 2GB microSD card in it that seemed to go corrupt (all the file names went crazy) so I reformatted it and it happened again within minutes. So today I bought a new 8GB microSD card and and the Nexus now gives the error of "Blank SD Card - SD card blank or has unsupported filesystem." It is unable to format the card, but it doesn't give an error. I tried formatting the card to FAT32 on my computer, still the phone thinks it is blank/unsupported.
I'm hoping the SD slot isn't fried... any thoughts?
You could try reformating the SD card in a computer using SDformater with erase on.
I have the same problem for a few weeks now. My phone can't seem to read the sd card at all. Thought it was the sd card so I bought a new one, but problem remains. I know both cards work (have tested them in another phone and the computer reads them). I've tried formatting the card in the phone and reformatting with erase on using SDFormatter in my computer but my phone refuses to read it. Think it might be my sd slot as well...
Currently running CM 7.1.0. Haven't tried a factory reset or flashing another ROM (how would one go about doing that with no sd card?) as I'm not too keen to lose that data if I can help it.
Did you manage to fix it?
I was not able to fix it and after many hours of troubleshooting, so I gave up. Good luck to you, and please reply if you find a solution.
