hey.. ive upgrade to new roms before.. however i tried going from the cingular 2.25 rom to summiters aku 2.3.. and it froze at 98% and was unable to finsh.. now I jsut tried downgrading and it froze again at 98%.. it won't complete anytthing.. help. please.
It's normal for it to seem to freeze at 98%, but it really will complete if you just wait a few minutes. No worries... just be patient.

hey if your phone is doesn't go through with the rom upgrade and doesn't push through and when you reboot you get stuck on the boot screen.
Put your phone into USB programming mode by holding the camera button down and doing a soft reset with the stylus. Then you will be able to load any rom you choose.
With regards to your frozen at 98 just give it time i would say don't unplug
same problem, still stuck
2nd time trying to load "Cingular_Custom_AKU2.3_Combo_Installer_V1.exe" ROM but still stuck at 98%...on the computer it says 100% and finishes but the phone is still stuck at 98%..tried to do a soft reset, but stuck at bootloader screen..

first let me apologize for the long post, and my noobiness. I'm new to the smartphone world, I've sucessfully flashed my Kaiser (from work). Also, I would like to thank everyone who is cooking!
I have the HTC Mteor, which I'm trying to Flash to WM6.1.
When I got it (used), I did a hard reset, and it went back to WM5 in Russian.
I believe I successfully unlocked it, and can now get to the tri-color screen.
It reads:
BBEE100
IPL-0.90
BREE100
SPL-2.05
Every ROM (including the original from HTC) opens, forces the phone to the tri-color screen, and then dies. Error 260, 262, etc.
I've searched the forums, and read that the SPL should be 1.10, but I can't get that to install either.
Any help/suggestions?

install this official rom from HTC

Its for RUS QTEK_AO7.
Then you will have SPL 1.10
I have similar problem
I had ROM 6.1 from Futureshock...still problem with radio (my phone couldn´t accessble but signal icon shows good signal, radio version 1.38.0000), so I decided flash some original ROM. Aftet that my booting stuck on HTC logo or Windows Mobile logo. So I can´t use normal way to flashing. Only from SD card or first turn on phone to boot loader mode and than attach usb cable and start flashing. From SD card (where is renamed ROM BREEIMG.NBH) after enter into bootloader mode start loading and than just turn to trhreecolour menu where is BREE100 - IPL-0.90 and BREE100-1.10.0000 and doesn´t want continue. If I flash ROM via USB cable (first go to threecolour mode, than attach cable) than run ROMUpdateUtility.exe and flash process is being started but always die on 2%, than autoreboot and again stuck on HTC logo.
I tried soft reset, I tried lot of ROM versions HTCRUS, HTCEUR, QTEKEUR, FUTURESHOCK but still same problem during flash ROM stop on 2%...
Any ideas how to back life to my MTeoR?

I'm not sure that I understand well, but if you flash from SD, it finish in 100% and than go to three color boot screen? ....

My problem is that always stuck on boot image HTC or Windows Mobile blue screen. I can´t use way copy necesseary files to root of phone memmory and than run sspl etc...I have to turn manualy to three-color mode, than connect USB cable and run upgrade utility but still froze instalation on 2%, If I use SD card methode with BREEIMG file uploading doesn´t start....

I would like to install new ROM into my Mteor, but I have no experience doing it. I do not know which version to try, all I need is to be able to enter czech letters on HW keyboard as with original ROM. Any sugestion? I preffer personal answer in czech language ([email protected])
Today I flashed my device to L26 KaiserDiamond from a WM6.1 Dutty's ROM.
The device rebooted fine, but when I tried to restore contacts/notes/etc.(via Sprite Backup), it performed the operation normally, but after restarting it is now stuck at the HTC logo.
I tried to reset the device via a hard reset, and it doesn't even get to the HTC logo... it just hangs at the L26 flash screen with the version numbers.
Is there anything else I can try, or do I have an excuse to buy an iPhone now?
Have you tried to re-flash it?
I'd put it in bootloader mode and re-flash.

used hard spl on my x1 and it finished about 15 sec and said now you got a new rom the pogram think i have a new rom, but the pohone just reboot and it is win 6.1 as it was before.

i tried to install android on my xperia x1 but some thing went wrong
now when i start my mobile a black screen appear with a blue writing (i think this is fastboot)
I tried to boot a boot.img and now a second black screen with white writing appears (I think this is adb)
when i try to hspl my device (power and volume down) it says (spl 0.72.0000)
I cant go back for a wm rom nor install android rom
I tried many wm rom but nothing is working

first I tried to do hspl 0.78 .... I did it and it was a success
but I couldn't complete everything and android won't run on my mobile
when i power it on a black screen with blue writing appears at first
then i tried to boot an img using fast boot and a new black screen with white writing appears but nothing else
then I give up and I want to get WM back
I tried to go back to the stack spl 0.72 and it was ok but my phone won't run WM it keeps show a black screen with withe writing and stop
when I try to enter boot loader and flash a new rom using sd card (formatting my SD with fat32 and put a rom named kovsimg.nbh on it) it stuck on loading and nothing else
and even when i try to flash a new room using KovskyAdvancedRUU it stop at 0% and won't continue
now i don't have any OS not WM and not Android
I even can't change to hspl like 0.78 or 0.52
