Hi everyone,
I think to buy that phone but I found that there are two models Touch Diamond P3700 and P3750.
Do you know is there any difference between them? And that battery 1340mAh- can I use it with both of them or it can be used only with one of these models?

I am going to switch my hermes into something new, I have the S730, HTC Touch, Touch Dual and Kaiser in my hands right now, and I just cant decide!!
and if that wasn't enough, I also have the Cruise to choose as well.
But which one? I really like the Touch models (leaning toward the Htc Touch and not the Dual) because of their size, they are perfect to just have in your pocket. However, GPS and 3G would be nice! and that has the Kaiser and the Cruise. So there it is just a matter of keyboard and fat or no keyboard and slim.
what should I choose? i don't use the keyboard that much, but hey, it is there waiting for me and it is alot faster typing with the keyboard, but on the other hand, slim is nice too..
what would you have choosen?
Kaiser can do a lot more that the oter phones.
But all of them have 1 problem. VIDEO DRIVERS
Why would you buy from HTC again after this latest debacle? Look at the new imates or the Eten phones.

first of all we don't have eten or Imates in sweden (as far as I know), second I would like to have the Iphone, which is also not availible in sweden, third, my company has settled for htc as their product of choice. I am aware of the driver problems, but not sure how that inflect with a business phone as kaiser for example.
cause this affects 3d and video performance which is not my first priority (although it certainly is nice to watch videos and play some games once in a while)

Somebody tell me if I'm wrong here but aren't iMates just re-branded HTC units?? AFIAK...
The only thing they change is the start-up screen and a few app's!!
In fact, the last ROM update I had from them for my iMate JasJam (Wizard) still had the HTC boot screen on it.

I own a HTC Kaiser at the moment and I'm pretty pleased with the phone (although it lacks D2D/DD drivers. Mine is doing what I want), but I'm able to exchange my Kaiser with a Diamond.
I don't use the HW Keyboard often, so my question is : is it worth upgrading to the Diamond ?
How is the battery-life compaired to the Kaiser ?
Any known problems with the Diamond at the moment ?
I used a Tytn before and didn´t regret a minute buying the diamond. Offcourse the battery is weaker, but as long as you use it on a normal basis the battery will last one day. The only situation at wich the battery really sucks is if you want to use GPS without car charger, which the battery only can handle for 2h max. But there are so many things that I love at the Diamond ie. VGA Display, Size, way more available RAM, Touchflow3D...

I bought the Diamond out of curiosity owning a Tytn I an II.
With a good ROM, the Tytn II is still more responsive - quicker than the Diamond (mainly to a buggy 3Dflow as identified by other sites)
Battery life? pfff awaiting an extended pack.
Let me put it this way:
if you are looking for a nice piece of hardware and want to get it running fluidly, buy a Dimaond but be aware it still should be cut and polished a lot.
That is why HTC is having a ROM release each day now

Hi, i am thinking of replacing my O2 XDA Orbit (HTC Artemis) Phone.
I have narrowed down to either the O2 orbit II (Touch Cruise) or the Touch diamond.
I will be buying used/off ebay hence no tie-in contracts
Only down side i find with the Diamond is its lack of external Storage.
But apart from that, Is the Touch diamond a better phone than the Touch Cruise?.
Is the Sony Xperia worth consideration at all?

Touch Diamond is better in terms of performance, screen, gadgetry.
the lack of external storage is annoying, but i haven't needed more than 4Gb!
depends what u want it for.
if you want external storage, headphone jack, full keyboard - then get the Pro
Touch diamond is better overall. The main gap will be battery life which is a killa on original shipped diamond but if u are able to add a better battery (capacity wise) voila! A diamond is forever.

im not sure if it fits opal but if you want to buy a replacement battery you can check out www.plemix.com and search for "replacement battery for htc touch viva". hope this help.

I'm sorry to say that im not sure if a Touch 3G battery is compatible with our HTC Vivas', if your looking for a replacement Battery than this is what you might be looking for Here
You must buy HTC BA S320 battery, It's compatible with HTC P3470 (Pharos) and Htc Touch Viva
