Anything is Ok , except that after opera's installation , it can't work , when opera starts, the screen turns black, but when you touch the screen, it responses, and may show the menu.
How to solve this problem?
Thx!!!
I've found Opera doesn't work on many of the 6.5 ROMs. However, PDACorner Ultimate X2 Beta II (link in my sig) has opera built in, and works wonderfully with it. Hope that helps you,
Dave
I'm on Josh' ROM 21231 also Opera works well. I suggest you ask each chef if they know there's problem and if they will fix it, on each ROM's thread ..
Ask the question in the ROM thread! Have the necessary information in your signature like mine, so that people dont have to ask you all the basic questions again! Read the forum rules at least once! Peace

Any way to get that version of Opera back? I have PDACorner Ultimate X2 Beta II installed, but like a fool uninstalled that version and put the new 9.7 beta on. However, this will not run and the app just randomly quits before any page loads
Try uninstalling 9.7, then installing this. Hope that helps,
Dave
(BTW: 9.7 works wonderfully on the newer Ultimate X2 V.x Roms, as long as it's installed to a storage card)

Hi,
I installed the latest Opera Mini, which I downloaded from their site.
Installation took a lot longer than on my hp ipaq hw6910 (WM5).
Further, when I tried running the app, it got stuck and did not proceed (the screen was white and showed a blue picture of something, can't remember what is was).
This version worked perfectly on my HW6910.
Does anyone know whether it's compatible with the Tilt?
Thank you.
Works fine on my HTC Kaiser (Original ROM).
Have you noticed the strange behavior that I described?
I have the original Tilt ROM, without the customizations.
Which version of Java do you have?
Thank you.
it worked fine on mine
I had the same problem on my Tilt. I just installed new JBED Java VM found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1781267&postcount=4
Thank you
I'll try that.
Also make sure you follow my articles; I've published a LOT of info on both Opera Mini and MIDlet managers like Jbed.

General forum here or the Wiki. I recommend the former because of the slightly better layout.
Is there any one able to run IM+ on WM6.1
yeah, Running Dutty's 6.1 and its running smooth. which rom are you using? I used another 6.1 rom and it didn't work but when I changed to Dutty's 6.1 is worked very well. TCPMP even works on Dutty's rom, just install to main memory also flash videobundle works too: install same location as TCPMP and your good to go. hope this helps.
you need the latest IMPlus...i had 4.33 and had issues where i couldnt see what i was typing...i switched to 4.53 and its working like a champ now.
hey man, here you go
This should help you out. IM+ 4.55 enjoy
<Kyphur:WAREZ link deleted>
Remove that link unless you wanna meet the banhammer. Warez isn't endorsed on this site.
I have latest IM+, but when I start application it's just closing right away, any ideas?
Thanks
warez
This is not warez since IM+ requires registration and no suck cracks nor serials nor keygens nor other garbage posted in reference to warez. The link is just a shortcut to download the newest client. It still requires registration.
No, it is warez. The cab is NAMED SHAPE_Services_IMPLUS_v4_55_Crcked-SergeyL
Thats a cracked copy.

I don't know, but you can try SLICK IM....works flawlessy, just a little less enjoyable GUI.
Slick is better than IM+
Web Messenger is also free and works well.
i know alot of people here do not read the development and hacking section but this thread is getting alot of attention

I have installed the CAB without uninstalling flashlite 2.1 and it is working pretty good. my only gripe is everytime i click on a flash activeX componant the virtual keyboard pops up
using the latest opera build and running TLR3 rom.
Anyone else given it a go on the diamond?
feedback appreciated
Yep, youtube works but its a shame that BBC iPlayer doesnt
are you getting the annoying virtual keyboard keep popping up when tring to use controls in a flash object?

unfortunately yes. <--- using flash 7
doesn't work for me i installed flash 3.1 lite, and rest the device, then if i have the 'enable plug-ins' box ticked in advanced settings the browser just crashes when ever i load up a page with flash like youtube. and if i have plug-ins disabled well then flash just doesn't work...
i am using TLR3 and have opera build 1522.
any ideas...
newer version of opera
im using opera 9.5 build 1938
isn't that what the nullkb cab in the first post of the orginal thread for? so that the keyboard doesn't pop up...

Try to find 'sipupdisable.cab. #2 in the following thread.. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2473168
Edit:
Tried it on Diamond100 with swiftblade6.0 and Opera Browser 9.5 Build 1938. No effect what so ever. I installed the flash on my 4Gb -memory. Any advice how you got it working? [ note no flash was on my device]
I installed it to my device memory to get it working. I could not get nullkeyboard to work though
well, it works on my vogue, really buggy, however its better than the flash support we had b4.
best view (with least buginess) is in opera (uncheck mobile view) as it seems to not have too much of a problem with playing flash videos when they are a fairly small size, but when you zoom in, in or around the flash video, thats when you'll have some issues
many thanks to rumpleforeskin
I have tried to install My_Flash3_1 and Dvha79AdobeFlash3.1 plugin. but it does not work!
With Opera 9.5 Build 1938 the flash site work partially, for some sites, we can see only the top of the page. Completely useless for Flash sites.
For example, you can not play online at www.loterie.ch. He said that flash is not installed !
HTC Diamond
ROM Bepe 0.99d
works on my touch diamond. I have the same problem with the keyboard popping up but better than a site not working. There are some flash sites that dont work but I think that is because the site checks for a particular version of flash (eg version7) and simply does not send the flash content if it cant find it.
Youtube works really well.
Hi, it's just so manny posts about all Roms out there. Which one should I pick for best results? I want it to be the fastest *doh*.
anyhow, do you guys recommend me to install a new cab, since I am using the new firmware(or what's it called) that SE released earlier this year. Don't know what to call it. That one, and alot of panels and tweaks. It feels like my xperia is "too much random applications-installed" right now, and I'd like a new fresh one with everything pre-installed. No overflod of unnessesary appz.
But with all the good out there, yet released. Such as all the Panels and great appz of course.
So, which panel do you recommend and why? (Fast and with alot of pre-installed stuff, settings and tweaks..)
Thx all for a wonderful oppertunity to fix the Xperia, since SE don't want to =)
(edit: Swedish rom would be nice)
I've tried a lot of the roms on here and i'd say the current best are either:
norti's nX1i v1.02 [LiteSpeed][UC][WWE/SPA/GER][R2A] - Best lite build with no TouchFLO and good UC pack.
itje's [WWE] Touch-IT v4.0 "Landscape" RC1.1 - TouchFLO lots included in build but no UC.
However once you know how to flash your phone it's worth trying out a few and seeing which you like best.
okej, thanks for the advice! I've read a bit about flashing the phone. Just to be clear, everyting on it dissapear right? (contact and such) Maybe I can just make a backup =) (any good backup sync appz, or just the orginal SE?)

download ppcpimbackup... do a search... itll backup sms/contact/appoiintments etc
btw, what's UC?
Tried the secound one you recommended, TouchIT. Sure, it's nice but damn slow.. :/ and no tweaks!
i think that jack 2.6 the best is.... totally bug free (except the known limitation on HD camera and TF3D 2) fast, stable, battery life is ok! youtube works, footprints works... tom tom works fine.. great rom!!
itje's [WWE] Touch-IT v4.0 "Landscape" RC1.1
Nothing Better for x1 developed yet...
UC = User Customization. It's a program that automaticaly installs progams / copies files when you first boot the new rom. You can tell it what to install etc by editing the config file.
Touch-IT v4.0 B3 was one of the best TouchFLO impementations i've tried but a little slow running panels. I also tried an older version of Jacks Rom but had a few crashes and found some apps needed registering.
I prefer to use the sbp panel rather than TouchFLO so I'm now using nX1i v1.02 [LiteSpeed] which is a very lite ROM with UC that allows you to pick and choose what addtional stuff you want installing.
It's so easy to flash the rom using the SD card method its worth trying a few to see what you like. I found a few nice features on different roms then applied my favorite bits from all of them to nX1i v1.02 [LiteSpeed].

your right and it is fast and stable
I use Jack's V2.1 Light, great base ROM to start from if you don't like Touchflo! I've kept it pretty light, installed a few tweaks and added PointUI 2 (Black Theme with a custom X1 wallpaper, starting work on an X1 theme now). Runs like a dream!
Before that i was running the base cMEX ROM, but i changed when the new firmware came out (there was no Touchflo-free version of cMEX running that firmware at the time). Also tried itje's ROMs, but they're not really my cup of tea. Very complete and stable, but not as fast as what i'm running now.
I just tried the Lite-rom, didnt like it at all. Going back to TouchIT. it's a shame that none of above recommended has Swedish as a alternative
Thx all for comments! Still looking for the ultimate one!

Have you tried any of Xperia Xion by me, there are in swedish!
I think there is no best rom.
Everyone's work is perfect.
I used some of them,I like itje's best.
Although I think itje's is perfect,I can not say it's best...

My opinion too. Also iGO8 works well.
Hi to everyone and merry cristmas (to whoever believes in them )!!
I am about to flash a new 6.5 rom but I can't decide which. Can you suggest me one? I don't really mind if it has touchflo imported or not. I just want a nice and stable 6.5 rom. Which one is your favourite?
Christians rom for the last few days and it seems very stable (compared to the standard 6.1 r3a)
Its based on wm 6.5.3 which has the finger friendly drop down task menu and the windows button moved to the bottom.
Means I hardly use the stylus now and I havent had to install lots of third party apps to achieve it!
Heres the link ... Christian's Rom's
(I'm using the full WWE version)
Another one I tried was and earlier build of 6.5 and also seemed very stable, but I only used it for a few days before upgrading again
Windows Mobile 6.5.0 PURE upgrade
(Both of these roms have been done specifically for the xperia)
Hope this is of some help ... there's a lot of choice out there

Thanks man! I agree, too many choices out there, especially for someone like me with not enough time to try them all.
i've tried almost all roms out there. From the 6.5.1 and 6.5.3 versions I'll choose Agent's valkyrie rom. but the bottom taskbar is over some applications. if you want full compatibility you should try a clean WM 6.5 rom. I like UNOFF series , infinity or 1.5.
Merry Christmas!

mmm not sure this belongs here but since the thread already exists I may as well use it too.
First of all, let me just state that I have never flashed a rom before therefore I m a complete newbie. However, recently, I do feel like I m not making the most of my phone so I think I m ready for an update.
I would like to have a 6.5 rom that also has the new (current) touch hd panel (with landscape mode). Furthermore, I would quite like to have some of the X2 stuff (panel manager, new media panel). I would prefer a light 6.5 version that works reliably rather than a lot of fancy software.
Can somebody recommend me a rom? Moreover, what is the current status of these roms. Does everything work or do they tend to crash a lot or have bugs? I m quite happy with my x1 the way it works at the moment and it hasnt crashed in months and I rather keep it this way.
Looking forward to your replies guys

First of all is very simple to flash a rom. I recommend you using the PC method. Keep in mind that flashing your phone will erase all your data, so is adviceable to back-up your data (search for PIM back-up). First of all you will have to hard-spl your phone (one for all ROMs you will flash), and then flash you custom ROM.
The HTC Leo doesn't support landscape yet(not official). There is a guy in ROM section of xperia that says that he have an official landscape ROM for LEO. So you must wait a couple of days for it to be released (I assume that it will be buggy for a first release, so if you will wait 1-2 months the rom should have just a few bugs).
For the X2 stuff is better to wait for the phone to be officialy launched, because all the stuff that is uploaded now isn't fully working.
Hope this helps!
Cheers!
