Hi , Im having one problem with my phone... Its turning off and on by itself ...
Im having this problem since I upgrade to Kid_DC Media OS (4.2) . (I dont know and Dont think its a rom problem )
So... what could be the problem , cuz then I upgrade to agent_47 Valkyrie_v1 rom , and I still had the problem .
ps : I ve been changing the rom since I have my xperia , but before I upgrade to kid_DC's rom I didnt have the soft reset problem . Now Im using touch it 9 ... and I STILL have the problem...
In xperia general forum told me to hard reset my device... But Now Ive done it like 10 times in a rode... And the soft reset problem is there!! ...

If it's still there then it seems to be a hardware problem and you should give it for repair.
First try to install the stockSPL and a stock ROM, maybe this is causing some problems (I never heard of something like this though).

1st instal stock rom and then stock SLP.....
if i were in ur plc i would hard spl again after installing stock spl to check if the problem was fixed...if not then go 2 repair

Well, I had no intention to line up the steps to do in a perfect order.
It just came to my mind that he should try to set the phone back to stock.

Well , I installed the stock rom first (obviously ) , and then the stock hard spl ... .
edit... One minute ago , my phone just got reset... Im very sad and dissapointed...
other suggestion?...
install Hard-SPL again.
do a hard reset not soft reset
install the stock rom again (refer latest R3A rom)

my x1i developed a similar soft-reset cycle after removing panelmanager directory from program files, on every boot phone hanged after about 1-2 minutes and then restarted.
i was on itjes touch-it9 rom and a hard reset solved it. but i think this cant be ur problem as u have already tried reinstalling roms. hope somebody solves the mystery.

sounds like a hardware issue then..
try without sd card in for a while..
try without sim card in for a while.
are you installing anything extra?
if the problems still there then I guess you have to send it back for repair.

The extended rom of your phone seems to have gotten corrupted by too many installing/deleting applications or some or any essential OS files corrupt and not responding.You can try by switching OFF the phone and taking out the battery for a couple of minutes say 30 mins and then try again to switch ON the phone or try Soft reset,see if it works,otherwise try a Hard Reset.Hope it'll work,well if it still doesn't work,than the only way out is to reflash a new Rom.

actually i did sumthin..den it hard resets..nd then wen my phone is now workin..it can't recognize the storage card..so i have to hard reset again..i should've waited 4 d reply ..nwy, wat's the best rom out there?can u suggest sumthing?coz im currently on bd3.1..nd its not workin for me...it's always doin dat..tnx!!!

Which is the present Rom on it ? is your phone CID unlocked ? if its Cid unlocked then try new latest XMr5 or TNT 1933 series,both are excellent Roms.
Btw, which is your device G3 or G4 ? Post IPL/SPL...? of your phone,ok

I need help ppl. I flashed my Touch HD with RUU_Dutty_s_HD_WM6.5_R6_5.2.23007.5.3.0_1.59.709.0_Radio_52.62.25.34_1.14.25.24_Turbo rom . i've been using it for the last one week and yesterday i hard reset my phone and when i tried switching it on again, it got stuck at the 'smart mobility' screen and has been the same ever since. Please help me out with this problem guys. Any help will be much appreciated.

If you have already done a hard reset, you will have lost yor info so I would try and do another if that does not work reflash again.Good luck
If you can't get past smart mobility screen and you have tried a couple hard resets, turn off phone by removing battery, go into bootloader and then reflash rom
well i followed instructions..went to bootloader screen and reflashed the rom..its working now..thanks for your help..i think it was a problem with the dutty rom. One thing i must say that most of the ppl who flash the dutty rom face this problem...something to think about eh...anyways i've lost all my data..but my phone is up and running again..thanks guys....

IMHO I would have to disagree with you on that. Most people using Duttys roms would not get this issue. I've used all his roms and never experienced this.

Hi all,
My xperia had the reboot problem. (after starting up windows mobile 6.1 it rebooted immediatly.
After that i installed the Ruu rom including SEX1 windows 6.5. My phone worked 4 about 2 weeks perfectly.
Now.. my phone starts rebooting again and i think a have to give it back to the shop for warranty (or does anybody else has other idea's?)
i have to install the stock ROM again ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=431218 ) but first i have to install the original OS.
Where can i find this?
by the way.. i also cant get into the rainbow screen...
what can i do?!

6.5 is not final dude, anything is possible with software thats not final, also 3rd party apps can cause issues.... if u are having no probs with the stock rom why not stick to the stock rom, try other roms to be sure first, dont just send back a phone because its rebooting after u changed the rom...see what the cause may be first

That was my first thought also but if you read it well you see that he couldn't get into tri collor screen.
you have to explain why you can't get in the rainbow screen doe it reboots? or wouldn't it just get in there. did try to press the volume down button and the power button at the same time?

but if you want to flash it you really got to get in the rainbow screen thats the only way to flash it.
Hi , guys , im sorry if there is another one thread like that , but i cant decide what the problem exactly is.
Ive ttrying to install new ROM but during the installation there was some fault , i dont know what is it and the installation couldnt go ahead and the phone didnt responding.
after that i try to restart the phone but the only thing he is doing is to load some tiny blue things, like its loading his bios , but not even more.
the display is staying like that and nothing happened
i think , i f****d up my phone but i hope there is still hope
any ideas whats wrong and how to fix that ?

first install the normal HardSPL, without changing any files.
after that install the rom again

my X1 freeze on sony ericsson logo.i tried soft and hard reset several times but nothing.i upgraded rom with shipped rom in SDcard method(because x1 can not connect to a PC via activesync or wmdc) and it showed update success message finally but after turn it on again
it freeze on sony logo again and not to boot in WM.pls guide me what's the problem ?

know what was orginal rom on my x1.it was only rom that x1 could loaded and update itself.what is task 42 ? but no i did not any task during update process. sorry i dont know about this and how does it do.thanks for ur help

X1 can not connect to PC so task29 is unusable . I update with R3 (APP-SW_X1_GENERIC_UK_1213-6450_R3AA010__KOVS) now and it ended with success message but again NOTHING it freeze on sony logo again!
I do not know what was orginal rom install on this x1.I confuse ! which rom is correct for this x1 and is problem ROM or another thing ?

I bouth x1 in Iran.I don't know from where x1 was ship to Iran but i hear there is a ROM for middle asia special one . i searched on net for it but nothing find.
i know this x1 was not shipped from UK .

APP_SW_X1i_GENERIC_UK_CDF1215-1832_KOV_R1AA017 and R2 and R3
(the only ROMs this x1 can loading and update with success) but nothing!
Is it hardware problem ?

"kovs100" tells me it is a really bad idea NOT to flash OliNex SPL (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=431218) before ROM changing!
