I'm using that for Touch Pro.
The pouch I had (got it with the phone)on my touch pro scratched the heck out of my screen. The worst thing is that you could see the scratches when the phone was turned on.AVOID the pouch if you dont want to end up like me.But luckily I sold my tp today and I am getting the td2 on clove.co.uk. Any1 ordered from them? Any problems or suggestions?
No pouch
I got mine a couple of days ago and there was no pouch included. Maybe they realised the scratching it was causing and dropped it.
My old Diamond also strached by original htc diamond pouch
At that case, I think some dust or something stuck with phone & pouch... But no !! After reading about similar posts, Clearly understanding,, it's common issue...

Is it just me not being careful enough with my diamond?
Because it does not take much for my screen to get scratched.
Compared to my htc touch, there is a big difference.
I already needed to buy a tube to try and polish the scratches out.
Waiting for my screen protector to arrive and hope its better then the one from brando because i had to wash it and then i just never got it clean again.
could not get the fingerprints of it and always left some water stains (even when i use a blow dryer)
This is the only thing which disappoints me and also surprises me!
Anyone els noticed this?
didnt u get a oem screen protector in the box?
as posted just now: haven't you applied the screen protector, since this is a different type of screen then your previous phone there is a reason it is being shipped with a screen protector!
I ordered a thicker screen protector when I placed my order. No scratch what so ever and the phone is almost all the time accompanied with my keys or lighter ...
I did get it but i messed it up by accident...
and i also received one with my htc touch but i did not need one for that phone.
it did not scratch that easily.
So because of this i thought i would not need to order a new one, now i see i was wrong.

Where did you get a thicker one? I have the one that came in the box on my Diamond just now which seems fine - but I also messed up when putting it on and its slightly squint. I would like to get a replacement - but the HTC store are only currently selling them in packs of 6!

I know what you mean /sigh
HI,
I've managed to get a few small scratches on mine.
Can't think how. I always carry it on it's own in a soft pocket - the same pocket I used for my old Orbit 2 and Orbit & Jamin before it etc... none of which ever scratched.
Was even being careful while I waited for a better screen protector...
Seems to scrtach quite easily...
So, does anyone have any ideas on how to minimise effect of/repair small scratches? There are plenty of solutions for plastic screens but I can't find any reliable advice for the Diamond (or the iPhone for that matter - I searched for iPhone as it has a similar hard glass screen and has been around longer)...
All ideas welcome!
Thanks.
The screen protector looks exactly the same as those bundled with Vario II and III and I must say it's rubbish. I bought 2 from Taiwan or China on ebay for a quid inc. shipping and they are a bit thicker and they don't descrease the quality of colours as the standard ones.
hi everyone so i managed to break my hd2s screen yeah i know it sucks.. right now im in the process of changing the digitizer for a new one i bought off of ebay.. i took the phone apart that was pretty simple but while doing so i removed many glue copper like stickers and also adhesive strips specially the one holding the digitizer and the lcd together.. my question is if anybody knows where i can buy the adhesive strips.. and most important the cooper like tape since it was covering the sides and the back part where the battery goes.. has anyone been successful at fixing their broken hd2 and is the copper-like tape important.. or can i just use some regular hot temperature resistant tape? well thanks in advance for the help
I know this doesn't really help you with your situation in any way but. I broke mine as well, and i just decided to let the insurance company handle it. I know it's expensive 130$ compared to the 50$ you could buy a new screen for. But they send you a brand new sealed in box phone, next day air shipping. I've only seen one video on how to replace the glass, and it was for the euro one, and it required, basically, completely disassembling the entire phone.
Sorry for the non-help. Just my .02c
i broke the one on my blackstone bought one off ebay pretty cheap but i couldn't put it together ,i ended up paying $50 get it installed the right way
First of all, hi. Im new here and ill start with saying that i USED search and didnt find what i wanted to know, so i made this new thread
My i9000 has fallen, slipped out of my hands a lot, always just damaging the chrome bezel, but recently i ran out of luck and my glass broke.
The screen & touch are both fine and dandy, no problems what so ever. Ive ordered the glass lens and a new bezel, so that my phone will look like new once again. Replacing the bezel shouldnt be a problem, but the glass will definetly be.
Where is the digitizer? Ive googled and youtubed a lot and still havent found that out. I know that in case of iphones & ipods the digitizer is the glass it self, but what about SGS? Any help would be appriciated
Hi everybody!
The past 3 months, i've been the proud owner of an HTC one, but something has been bothering me for some time now: even though i am very careful with my phone and keep the case on it at all times, the back has accumulated quite a lot of small 'craters'. These only seem to appear where the back should be protected by the hard part of my official htc one double dip flip case. I have checked time and time again if there was any sand in between, and there never was any, nor was there anything else in there.
I will try to post a decent picture later on, but i was wondering: what should i do? Do i have any chance to get a new device?

Thanks in advance,

Have had the same problem, it occurred when a few bits of debris got behind it., load of crap and I would avoid it.

Avoid trying to get a new one or just that ****ty case?
You should use a TPU case. I got myself the Cimo one. It's flexible and offer all around protection, except for the speaker grills. Just clean it inside as a precaution before putting your phone in there. Your flip case obviously got some debris inside which pressed against the soft aluminium back of the phone when you closed it and put it in your pocket or bag.

I decided to go for a little more protection and ordered myself the UAG navigator It'll take some weeks to get here though, so hopefully my back plate won't be screwed up entirely by then :/
Does anybody know if it's posible to polish it out a bit, etc?
Better use otterbox commuter series for better protection.

I just did that last night. The OtterBox Commuter has the best protection v/s slimness.I got myself the black one. I really wanted the Glacier model but the colors in reality do not match what you see in the rendered pictures. The light grey is actually absolutely white and the darker grey is actually light grey. I don't want a white case as my phone is black for a reason - no worries about dust, etc making it look dirty.

Avoid the case, it's crap. I've got the double dip too which has been fine although some people have said that it also has scratched their One, so take care with it.
A silicon case is obviously the safest choice but then again it's not going to be the prettiest either.
I've actually not got anything on mine at all now, I love the aesthetics of the phone and putting a case on it is just going to spoil that.
Have never dropped it yet (touch wood) and if I ever break it then i'll just get another one anyway so not really bothered too much.
PS: The urban cases are pretty good, you should check them out if youre looking for something rugged and decent looking.

hi
Any of my Indian friends purchased the black leather one from flip kart?
I am having very bad experience with the black leather mobile purchased from flip kart
1) the first mobile I got was a used one, had some scratches, the mobile switches on as soon as I pushed the power button after unpacking.. I.e it did not boot.. It seems someone returned the phone and did not switch off the phone and flip kart sent that returned phone to me.. It asked for a replacement, flip kart sent me another one
2) the second one had speaker problems.. Speaker was distorting even in low volumes.. So again asked for replacement..
3) the third phone (current) is having flash problems similar to this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x-2014/help/issue-camera-flash-t2901355I, I have asked for a replacement
But now I am afraid if the 4th one might have some hardware problem...
Has anyone got this black leather mobile from flip kart, which does not have any problems... Or is flipkArt selling rejected mobiles from US
Awaiting replies from my Indian friends
Regards
Ajjaykummar
No, they are not "selling rejected mobiles from US". We get the same treatment like the rest of the world does. They at least offer a replacement in a matter of days no matter how many times you ask for it, try the same with an offline store and see what they say, so dont criticize flipkart on this. The leather back version having minor bruises is normal since its leather, and you'll get much more bruises as you use it. If you dont want that, get the plastic back or the wooden back. The other two issues, you might have just been unlucky. With your 4th one, dont go in with a magnifying glass trying to find defects, use it for a few days and decide if it really is that big of a problem
Ya I agree on that they provide replacement without any questions...
I hope i am unlucky for the 3 times I got the mobiles... the issues that I had were not minor issues.. these were big hardware defects.. thats the reason that I got worried
The speaker on the 2nd one was distorting big time and the flash on this 3rd mobile is really bad.. see the sample photos www.iajay.com/motox
Meanwhile do you have a leather back or plastic back?
Also I dont care too much of bruises on the leather back.. They are obvious to happen
On the first mobile there were some scratches on the SG, it was as if someone made a signature with scratches (Dont know why )and the mobile was already ON..
I got a black leather from flipkart and it seemed in good condition, leather had few minor scuffs but not very noticeable, didn't look like a used piece
Thanks for the reply Guys
Thanks for the replies... I would like to mention once again that I am NOT worried about minor scuffs/scratches to the leather back.. I am more worried about hardware issues/manufacturing defects like
1) Camera not working
2) Flash not working or very blur photos with flash ON
3) Speaker distoring
4) Very low signal
5) Low wifi speed
etc etc
