I need help

I have overclocked my phone... if i change my scaling in setcpu, i will win something?
Sent from my X8 using xda app-developers app
Its recommended not to overclock as it result to hardbrick & instability of system
If I helped you dont only say thanx please press thanx
Look, I don't have any personal grudge against you but you are proving to be quite the a$$wipe here. But I'm still going to give you a chance. Do your homework. Overclocking can't cause a hard brick. And the OP has asked whether he will see any benefits if he overclocks his phone. The answer is simple, yes he will. There will be an increase in speed and as a result, an improvement in performance. Though it is preferred not to, the OP, if I understand correctly, wants to overclock his phone and I appreciate that you are trying to warn him of system instability due to overclocking (yes you got that part right), you can't just stop him from doing it. I hope you understand. Please take some time to go through the stickies and some other threads and most importantly get your facts right before you post. I hope I'm not being rude but this is the second time you've provided wrong info and everyone here would appreciate it greatly if you just got your facts right before posting. But I must say I like your always-there-to-help attitude .

Yeah. The ICS one. I have a surprise for you. And @OP CnC-ROCK is right. While it will win you speed, you will suffer from battery drains...the worst kind of battery drains.

that depends on your hardware...some X8 cant even go to 768 leave alone 806.. while some are stable at 825 too.. so try and report...nothing to do with scaling for the reboot part..
if it works then try using performance governor for better ...the name says it all doesnt it?
If you don't like battery drain and other stufs with battery, don't overclock
Sth that bothers me....
(I'm not referring to someone specific, its a general comment, but the posts from st. mew and cnc made me post the following...especially after I saw a link at the off topic thread<-that bothered me the most)
I don't like your attitude against members that don't have the experience you may have...don't forget that not everyone is interested on android as you are, others are more, others are less.
instaid of forcing people to leave XDA you better help them,if you can't do this just don't post anything and especially don't post things like you own XDA or you are mods, because you aren't! And some people may see you as you see the new members.
Because many members are young(like im the one to talk,I'm not that old,I'm almost 18 years old) I have an advice for you, learn to respect!...and this will be a better place for everyone. Have in mind what you would tell if you were face to face with a person...oops...I forgot this is the internet and in internet you can do anything you want,go ahead and do it and sometime this will happen to your real life too...
.....
He didn't do anything against the rules to hurt anyone he is just a newbie.

Oh,and overclocking can damage cpu,so if you call it hard brick, overclocking can cause hard brick, before you start judge people you better think twice.
Friendly...
Sent from my X8 using xda premium
Honestly even if you overclock to 825MHz you won't melt your CPU and thus no hard brick; you may suffer from freezes. And I didn't want anyone to leave; I just told him in the kindest way possible to post correct info. I hope you guys understand that I did not mean to be rude at all.
Oh and the link was just to show KC93 how I like to make people understand (some take it some other way). Oh well, some understand others don't - rule of life. I'm extremely sorry if I offended anyone. Feel free to report me as I see nothing wrong with my posts. I certainly don't want to be enemies with anybody. Hope you guys understand.
@stamatis16 it is not that i want to make him leave XDA nor i am any MOD....you saw the post where he argued too right? i tried to explain him but he was not ready to listen..... that was my point..you say let him learn...but he is not ready to listen..nothing else.
about you saying me owning XDA....i very well know i dont own XDA but you dont either...
He didn't do anything against the rules to hurt anyone he is just a newbie agreed here....but giving about wrong info without knowing is not a good thing to do..
"you better help them,if you can't do this just don't post anything and especially don't post things like you own XDA or you are mods" you said...
ok...i didnot help him but he wasnt either any helpful...i will post everytime and every frigging place wrong info is given... i dont like wrong information to be given so i post and will continue posting... no one can stop me there
lastly.... i dont appreciate positive or negative criticism on my posts
no offense meant... i just dont know how to construct more kind and polite sentences excuse me for it..so just posting what i thought...
and AFAIK damaging hardware is considered hard brick
Regards,
CnC-ROCK
@Stamatis - I'm guessing the link you referred to was my rant. If so, rather than discuss it here, come to the off-topic thread and I'll discuss it with you there.

You probably need to set the governor to a setting that supports sleep.
From the Play Store, download and install "No-frills CPU Control". Open the program and set the governor to either "interactive", "smartassv2", or "performance". Set the scheduler to "row", "deadline", or "cfq".
Well mate guys like us doesn't even have the right to breathe but i'll give my humble two cents. I suggset you use it. It doesn't end with a deep sleep program but it is a start. Since i didn't make any ROMs i have no right to live but it happens to be that i recently made a test about it so i am gonna share it with you. If you wanna discuss further just PM me. :good:

Thanks for the sarcasm i was waiting you. We both know why you wrote this but it's ok. I only put 1 screenshot, i had to be sure. This was another test. Seems like i had my theory proved.
It's a deep sleep test with internet on, with off, .. etc. Hmm what have we here i have multiple screenshots with multiple tests. Oh my... may be i should do yet another deep sleep test while playing games. :cyclops: They why i told him PM for further discussion....
I am trying to help a fellow noob as always. I think other people who do not share the same task should choose to stay away. Since you wrote so carefully you can deny it. But, instead of helping the guy you choose to mock me. Well done. Really glad to see nothing has changed here. If you have no intention to write something constructive please stay away. I had enough of these kind of behaviour.

I think you srsly have paranoia... do you maybe remember, that i am the one who always helped noobs out? One who always tried to bring this forum forward? And yes i read about the discussion between you and gabz and i fully support his opinion. So stop being a fool and calm down man!

WTF?
I don't know Pondera but I know at least N00BY0815 a little bit, he is very helpfull and I can't really see what he did wrong here. OK probably it's an old flameware or something like this.
OK androcraze said already what is important and the rest might be better ignored.
It seams that something is not right with the OnDemand governor so better change it to Interactive (or what ever you like best) if your phone doesn't go to deep sleep.

Go here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1179809
Read the OP and create a log file as per the very detailed instructions and then post it in that thread. There you'll get the help you need. I'm not sure the wakelock you posted is causing excessive battery drain but they'll be able to tell you with a valid logfile.

Question I need help pls!

@Tilde88 The battery life still doesn't seem to be any better after debloating my phone (btw this is my alt for @batterylifesucks because i forgot my password). Also @dladz how did you even manage to get that ridiculous battery life. I am so sad with the purchase of this phone. Can you guys or anyone please guide me too in any ways.

What do you want me to do? I can't pop round your house and do your phone for you.
Little common sense on the debloating plus the tips I gave you, you all the information I have..
This isn't just for OnePlus devices it's for any device.
