Can anyone tell me how to use a BlackBerry total internet plan on the T-Mobile Wing?
Yes, buy a Blackberry.

Just got a new ATT Tilt and have been reading posts on here for a little bit--also flashed Dutty's ROM and the 12.32 radio...
Called AT&T and gave me no definite answer...
Right now, I have a Blackberry BIS Unlimited Plan w/ 1500 Texts, do i have to switch to the PDA personal plan to access data/email?? Or, can i just use the BB plan?
I would like the option to switch to my old BB Curve at bars/clubs during the weekends, since my friends are on BB Messenger.
Sorry for the Super Newb question...

No, you don't have to switch. Unlimited Blackberry plans include unlimited MediaNet data access.
OTOH, you can load up BBConnect on your Tilt and get some use out of the plan you're paying for:

Thanks, i will give this a try.
It says I need to have a BlackBerry Connect Plan... i figure based on what you're saying is that I already have that plan (BB BIS) from my old BlackBerry?
Is there a good reason to switch to the PDA Personal Plan at all?
I will tell you that I got a pain in the ass CSR at AT&T who forced me to switch off the Blackberry plan. She claimed that it doesn't work with the Tilt. I know that not to be true, but she claimed that Premier shouldn't be allowing people to stay with the blackberry version. I didn't care because my old phone died, but understand you could theoretically run into a rep down the road who sees "policy" differently. FWIW.
Will the unlocked Tilt work on the new T-Mobile 3G Network??
Here is a great article on how to figure out if your tilt will run on the T-Mobile 3G

I wouldn't think that would be possible on any phone not tied to the RIM network.
Thats what I figured, just hoping. It would be awesome to have.
Any chance of having blackberry messenger?
Do you have a Blackberry?
no.
Then no.
But what if-
No.

his other phone could be a BB
And didn't they release a similar app for WinMo, that allowed for BB access?

Its not the BB's themself that are tied to the PIN networks. It is a provision on the network to allow the devices access to an APN that is called 'blackberry.net'. So as long as you have this provision added by your mobile network (they usually charge for it) and you can create a way of getting an app to talk to this APN, you will have your BB Messenger for Android.
and up until recently i was actually using tmos bb data plan, and was on a win mo. for the first month with android i was on it but then i got random service loss, and then decided to go on the android plan
Has anyone tried yet?
yep, works for me.
I got my HD7 earlier today, and so far everything works on my grandfathered 5.99 t-zones.
Hopefully this doesn't change.

Thank you! That's what I thought since Tzones also works on HD2. I am assuming same goes with the Dell Venue Pro.
I was about to make a new thread. Can anyone else confirm? Many thanks and enjoy your phones!
bump... anyone else can confirm this?
It's been confirmed on xda as well as tmonews forum. I guess it works!
So does it mean if I have a t-zones then I can use full web + email on hd7? I thought t-zones is only to use the t-mobile's online portal where you can see your account info, latest movies, etc? and does the t-zones account offer 3g speeds ?
Thanks !
For those who are using t-zone/web2go on the HD7, has there been any limitations so far?
1) Have you been caught?
2) Is it detectable via t-mobile.com under your tmobile account?
3) How are the speeds? Edge speeds?
I've been using it on my hd7 for the last three weeks. Great 3G speeds of about 4mb down. Edge speed is obviously slower but 3G coverage is great here in Austin so I'm never on edge.
Used tzones on my nexus, hd2 and now hd7 and never been caught.
Problem is of course they won't offer tzones anymore if you ask for it.
Tzones is the only reason I'm still with tmobile. 5 dollar full unlimited Internet per month is just unbeatable
FYI tzones is not the same as web2go. Web2go offers limitations and is only used for "dumb" phones. Tzones was the internet option offered back in the day like five years ago when smart phones didn't exist so people who had tzones then are able to use the internet just like the people who pay 30 dollars for the unlimited smartphone internet plan
Is t-zones still working with hd7?
Mine works perfectly with T-Zones.
When I bought mine at best buy there was a t-mo rep there that confirmed & I was like really? She said yes, it works with all smartphones, lol.
I guess it's one of those, as long as you don't change your plan, you should be fine kind of things.
Y'all are lucky.

SO! I had an iPhone and I sold it then I used my RAZR for a few days then got an HD2. ATT's website says I still have a RAZR! BUT there are no RAZR data plans... What should I do?
1) Tell them I still have my iPhone
2) Get the unlimited family data plan for $20
3) No data plan? I need one right?

Exactly. For months ATT had me listed as an Impression, but I had a Nokia 5800 for a good six months. Now it's showing a Razr for some reason.
Just roll with it amigo!
You are sooo in the wrong place mate...
