Raphael Windows Update - Touch Pro, Fuze Themes and Apps

Can someone give me the link for the Raphael Windows Mobile 6.5 upgrade?

there is no update (yet) only custom roms. Go to the ROM section and look for the one that fits you.

Windows Mobile 6.5 ain't even released yet, to the public... aside from XDA

Make sure that before you decide on the 6.5 rom that you think is best for your phone....that you CAREFULLY READ the posts about flashing a new rom onto your phone....you dont want to brick your device and have this look on your face --------------->

Or you could just go to the phone manufacturers website and download the applicable file there and follow their (comprehensive) instructions. If you want to keep things all official, it's actually a very straightforward process. You only need to bother with hardSPL etc if you want to flash a custom ROM. A very important question you should ask yourself is why do I want WM 6.1. If you're thinking it's newer so it must be more reliable/better/faster etc etc check out the threads in Kaiser General relating to all the problems after upgrading - at least with regards to most of the official HTC ROM offerings (certainly the current UK one is included). I tried WM 6.1 for a while and had such significant problems, I had it reverted back to 6.0.
MMMMMM
To me WM 6.1 appearance is more sexier than the WM 6.0. Thats why am looking to upgrade my device in to WM 6.1
Flying Kiwi has a point about doing it officially - I'd forgotten that there was an official 6.1 rom. That said, for me custom roms are much more fun!
I've had both 6.0 and 6.1 on my phones and to be honest, I can't tell the difference.

What are you doing with your phone ......
Having tried both, there's very little difference between the two as far as the TyTN II native ROMs are concerned. It's only the customised ROMs that offer a flashier flash (but you can also get alot of that stuff through installing cabs - full details in the wiki and by searching/reading up on the xda-dev website).

You can get it. I find it a bit too buggy atm so I'm staying with 6.1 for the time being.
Some of the newest ROMs coming out right now are incredibly stable for beta software. At this point they are stable enough for me to run days without running into any glitches or problems. No more so problems than the current stock 6.1 roms available. If you're feeling adventurous give one a shot. worst case scenario you can always flash back to your stock rom. Just be careful if you're not familiar with custom rom flashing, it's easy to do but just make sure you read up on it thoroughly to avoid any headaches. Good luck and enjoy 6.5, I love it on my diamond.

Newbie need s help in decision ...

Hey Guys, as I posted in X1 Forum Crack Complaint Thread I got my repaired x1 returned an they resettet it and ****.
Now I am wondering which kind of Rom in German for the latest win mobile including the newest feature for the x1 would be the right one for me. SOrry but I have abolutley no Idea. ANd what is this Manila doing ;-/^^
thanxx in advance
ok manila is just a port of htcs interface for their phone people ported it because it looks awesome as you can see from screen shots
if you want 6.5 but dont want manila there are some "clean roms", if you want manila there are a few in this section explore and find the one that suits your needs if you are going to flsh make sure to hard-spl first
if you dont need all this just use sony ericsson's updater
check out gtrab's rom library thread here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=477801
i'm not sure when it was last updated, new roms are released every day, so it's not right up to date, but certainly a good place to start.

WHat do you mean ? I can update to wm 6.5.1 via sony update legally ?
i don't think rex922 meant that, as wm6.5 is not released for the xperia yet
sony ericsson update service will upgrade your rom to the latest officially released version of wm for xperia (still 6.1)
if you want 6.5 or 6.5.1, you need to flash a custom rom

Want to upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.5

I have HTC touch diamond with windows mobile 6.1.
Can anyone please guide me how to upgrade the phone with latest windows mobile 6.5 ROM ?
Thanks.
Hiren.

guides to the process just pick up a 6.5 rom from the diamond rom forum and get at it
first you must to ready all the topics about this in ROM developement for diamond...
you will need to change the hardspl if you didnt do yet... and after that change de ROM...
so.. read.. read.. read about it... its a good beginning.

To begin with you need to start with the wiki pages . It gives you an understanding about your Touch HD, Flashing a new ROM, or just about anything you want to know about your device. Read through the document as it is very well documented.
Here: http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Blackstone
And don't forget that there is no official WM 6.5 update for HD, so everything you do is on your own risk!
Once you've read the wiki and know all aout your device and risks with flashing, you can use this guide to flash a custom wm6.5 rom
Post further flashing queries in that thread
