im trying to upgrade my htc diamond to 6.5, but it keeps freezing when i take the rom back to stock (as in tut)

Hi,,
I have a HTC Touch Diamond Vodafone Branded (NL). I runned the SPL tool and that succeeded succesfully. When i now try to install the '_CRC2_RUU_Diamond_HTC_NLD_1.37.404.3_Radio_Signed_Diamond_52.26a.25.09_1.00.25.03_Ship.exe' Rom it keeps hanging on 0% and its not making any progress :S.
How does this come?
Plz help im still experiencing problems and can't install new roms.. i was working on this the whole night and its driving me crazy
try posting in the ROM section of the forum
try posting under the thread for the ROM you are using
try using a different version of the Hard SPL... like the one that is recomended.

its been a while since i tried this. Whenever I used to put a cooked WM6.1 on my P3600i, after a couple of days / week it used to hard reset and I used to loose all data..
Now I want to give it a try again, as I am really bugged of WM6..
Can someone please suggest the most stable ROM for WM6.1 / Radio / HardSPL which I can give a try again to load onto my P3600i

I would advise you to say clear of them. I have tried a few of the listed OK ROMS for 3600i and the latest Radios and still have issues with the phone freezing necessitating a hard reset and reinstallation. Luckily I use Sprite Backup so I only lose recent data (I back up each night). I have posted on this forum for advice re this to no avail. Just my thoughts!

seriously, at this stage there really is no answer to this problem...
it's touch and go as to what causes the hard resets
most likely it's a program you're installing that is causing the problem
you can try a WM6.0 (Schaps?) ROM, or the official HTC ROM if you want stability
that's all we can do at this stage
Hmm.. i m using the official WM6 ROM.. hopefully some1 can fix WM6.1 for P3600i

My xperia had the reboot problem. (after starting up windows mobile 6.1 it rebooted immediatly.
After that i installed the Ruu rom including SEX1 windows 6.5. My phone worked 4 about 2 weeks perfectly.
Now.. my phone starts rebooting again and i think a have to give it back to the shop for warranty (or does anybody else has other idea's?)
i have to install the stock ROM again ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=431218 ) but first i have to install the original OS.
Where can i find this?
by the way.. i also cant get into the rainbow screen...
what can i do?!

I want to upgrade my X1's ROM but I'm afraid if it's fail.
Is there any way to back up my ROM so if the upgrade wasn't success I can revert it back?

I'm just afraid. I got this nightmare when I was 'like' flashing my iPhone and it's not going well and I couldn't restore it back. The moderator who make the restore never answer my Question. After 2 months, I have to give up.
I just didn't the same nightmare happen to me.
And I'm still looking for a clean (with X1 standart 3rd applications) ROM 6.5.3 (without HTC Sense or anything that is not originally from SE).
Can you help to show me?
I have a Jade. I have installed WM 6.5. Some how I feel it is very in response. I want to go back to the original ROM. How to revert back? Please its very urgent.
