is there anything that allows gesture controls for WMP - Touch Pro, Fuze Themes and Apps

I use WMP to play music...I sometimes connect it to my car's audio system to listen to music...
is there any way that I can use gestures to change tracks? maybe by moving my finger a certain way over the capacitive area? it would feel much safer than scrolling to the "music" tab in CHome and changing the song (I'm using 6.5)

I believe that this feature is already implemented :
Try moving your finger from right to left when the album cover is displayed, it'll play the next track of your playlist.
edit : 'left to right' on the screen

thanks, I'll try that
is there any way to remap the volume buttons for this purpose as well?

[Q] Wheel

Sorry if this is covered (tried search and didn't found much)
My question is: What is function of wheel under the screen??
Ok, I know that I can zoom in and zoom out but is that all?!?
Tnx
I guess you mean the cricle around the DPad.
It's actually a light sensitive wheel
You can use it to zoom in and out.
In some applications it's also used to scroll up and down a list.
Programs like Advanced Config and DiamondTweak allow you to change this behavior.
Last thing when the circle comes in handy is when you don't want the light of the device to turn off. Just place your finger on the DPad and the light will stay on for the amount of time set in your power settings.
its also used in the camera app to auto -focus.
is there any chance its moddable?, in music player you can use it to scroll the song but the startup delay is way to long, and its to fast/sensitive.
the same when viewing fotos etc

[Q] Tweaking gesture controls

Hi ,
i was just wondering.. Since the LG optimus offers gesture control,
could it be possible to tweak this controls?
For example, i really like the option to double tap the side of the phone for 'next song' in mp3 player, but this option only works when the music app is 'open'.
It would be really cool if i could also use the gesture controls when my phone is in my pocket , playing music while on screen lock. Right?
I also read somewhere that Apple plans to use the side of the display to control games , could this be possible on the Lg Optimus as well ?
What do you guys Think?
Kees
Basically a good idea... BUT what if you walk with your phone in your pocket? It would switch the song all the time!
Controlling games with gestures would be cool and from my pov possible, say double tap on the side means reload or use nitro
yeah you get it. . i wanna know how the gesture control works..
Does it work like the 'touch sensitive lamps' ? so capacitive ?
(see http://science.howstuffworks.com/innovation/science-questions/touch-sensitive-lamp.htm)
if so , your pants would be able to switch songs , cause its not a electrical conductor
or are they ?
it has these features.
just go to settings gestures and there you can activate it.
bit the double tapping for the music player just works when its on the screen, and not in background.

music remote control app?

I use my I pod for music mainly cause of the physical buttons that allow me to track skip whilst the device is in my pocket tho am interested to see if this would be possible with the note by using the remote control, like is there an app that would make the music player recognise a double click on the volume remote in the included headphones as a skip, or is there a non blue tooth remote available that would do this, I haven't found any

Poweramp does that. You can configure in the settings how the app responds to the headset buttons, e.g. double press or tripple press to skip to the next track.

Anyone Else Find The Volume Slider Very Useful on Chromecast?

One thing I like about Chromecasts is that the major apps that first came out, Google music, Avia, etc., have a volume slider. My Roku 3 does not have that option even though there are volume + and - buttons on the remote, which works only for the headphones.
So why does a volume control on an app even matter? Well, one of my sound systems has a tendency to be either too loud or too soft - in other words, the sound increment is too large. Another system is hooked to a 3 piece PC speakers set. There's no remote so manually walking up to turn up and down the volume --whenever a song is too loud and the next is too soft -- is a hassle. Thus, having the volume control on the app is great!
However, I see that not all Chromecast apps have a volume slider, which kind of makes it incomplete -- at least to me. The apps I use the most for streaming are Avia, which has volume slider on the chromecast icon; BubbleUPNP which has a slider but only if you go into options/Play Now/ enable volume slider - it works great; and Plex, the volume is located in settings icon when playing movies, but there is no slider to be found when playing music.

All the Chromecast-enabled apps I've used so far have obeyed the hardware volume keys while casting.

It didn't occur to me to test the physical volume buttons on the casting device to see if that work. I usually use the app's onscreen volume slider, at least with the apps that have it. I went back to test the apps that lack an onscreen volume slider and so far these apps do allow volume control via the physical volume buttons on the device. This should solve the problem, unless for some reason the buttons don't respond. Thanks for the tip!
Wow! Perhaps somebody from Google heard my calls! Chromecasts finally remembers volume settings across apps. I've tested it and it works great.

"That one deals with the volume level. Google mentioned how this Chromecast update brings a fix so the audio volume level will remain the same across sessions. Basically, this means you shouldn't have to worry about flipping to the Chromecast to be greeted with a super high (or super low) volume."

[Q] How to change the music lockscreen button function?

I have my s5 mini for just a month and when I started using it, I was really pleased with the lock screen when playing music. There was a play/pause button and forward and back button. With the forward and back button I could swap between songs. But about 2 weeks ago the function changed and the forward and back buttons are now used to change the volume. This is really disappointing because I can simply change the volume with the hardware volume buttons on my phone, and if I want to go to the next or previous song, instead of just simply doing so from the lock screen I have to unlock my phone and do it there. Is there a way to tweak the settings of music lock screen? I have gone through all the settings and I don't seem to find anything. Please help!
I don't know how to return them back, just to say that I have the last firmware and the buttons are still present and work, so it will probably be related to some setting you made.
Did you make any changes to the music player or something like that?
(btw did you know that by double clicking the play/pause button on headphones you can skip the song also)

Well, I use Rocket Player. It's definitely the best music player I know. And yeah, I know about headphones (with Rocket player I can even go to previous song by clicking two times and go forward by clicking three times) but still I would love to have this function on the lock screen too. I have changed the settings of Rocket Player to fit my personal preferences. But I have never changed the lock screen buttons settings. All I have found there in the settings of Rocket Player is the look of Lockscreen and I have tried all of them, nothing changes the function.
