Hi there. Just got my Magic 32A.
I was looking for a bluetooth app that can enable sim access to other devices via bluetooth. On HTC Diamond there was an option in the bluetooth setting that woud "Allow Remote Sim Access" via bluetooth in Bluetooth settings. Is there something similar in Magic? My car bluetooth works like that and I desperately need it. Thanks in advance for any response!

I've searched on Google & xda-developers forum for a while, but couldn't find anything on this. I've got an EGO Look carkit (http://www.egohandsfree.com/ego-look.html). This carkit has the ability to read messages from a phone over bluetooth, at least that what's stated in the specs of the carkit. I also see this option in the menu of the carkit, but its disabled. This leads me to the conclusion that the carkit thinks that my phone doesn't have the right bluetooth-options. I also tried it with a Samsung D600 & Samsung D900, but that didn't show the messages-option enabled either.
I updated the carkit to the most recent firmware, and am running RomeOS V3.1 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=406346) on radio 1.65.24.35. I have enabled Remote SIM Access in the bluetooth settings, but to no avail.
Is there anybody that has had a similar problem/feature in their carkit, that have this feature working? If not, can anybody tell me what bluetooth-profile is needed for this functionality?

hey there... i have htc tytn ii. my problem is that i can't access HID profile . In tyn ii Bluetooth profiles, i can see HID profile but cant access it thru bluetooth keyboard.. any kind of help would b appreciated.... thanx
So,
The setup in my car is this, Pioneer Appradio 2 with Justop K10A HDMI stick connected in the rear with ARUnchaned loaded for touch screen control via Bluetooth.
The problem: ARUnchaned doesn’t seem to auto connect once the app has started, restart Bluetooth with the app running and then it auto connects and functions fine.
The Question: Would I be able to use tasker to restart Bluetooth once ARUnchaned is up and running? And how would I go about it? (I am currently using a wireless mouse to manually restart Bluetooth, not ideal in the car)
I've never been into developing/tweaking so this is completely new to me, any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance. :good:

I've a problem with my Samsung Galaxy A5-2016 with Android 6 and my car radio with bluetooth.
When I connect my car radio to my smartphone is impossible to access the phonebook. I must manually disable and then enable "sharing contacts" option in Settings/bluetooth/paired device. Only in this way, while smartphone and car radio are connected, I can see the phonebook on my car radio.
Now I would automatize this operation (disable and then enable sharing contacts option in Settings/bluetooth/paired device) with tasker. How can I do?
I have created a new condition/network/BT connected. and I've selected the address of my car radio. But then I don't have idea how to continue!
Please someone can help me?
