Hi.
Sorry I don't have a solution to your problem, instead I have a question for you.
Are you using an bluetooth gps?
If so, what make and model?
Would you recommend the same?
Thanks
Chris.
is use keychain gps 2000 with an MTK chipset.
it's fast and accurate and (for me) most important: it's small. MTK is a very good chipset. i would definatively recommend it.
i use it as a keychain on my carkeys, very handy good reception, no need to put it under the windshield.

other devices with the mtk chipset:
qstartz bt-q818 extreme is supposed to be very good

XP Bluetooth Control from Touch Pro

I were recently looking for a remote to control a Laptop running XP for things such as presentations etc that had a touchpad for cursor control. There is a unit made by manhattan but its about £120 and doesnt have a keypad. There are wireless keyboards with a touchpad on but theyre massive. Then it hit me. The HTC Touch Pro has bluetooth functionality AND an effective touchpad with the screen AND a full qwerty keyboard. So has anyone come across any software that runs on windows mobile 6 that enables you to control a desktop/laptop via a bluetooth connection between the two? And if not why has nobody come up with this based on the fact that these smart phones are usually purchased by business people who do presentations etc on a daily basis?
You might wanna check out Gremote. I haven't used itmyself, but the description looks like what you need. It says it works with bluetooth or wifi.
Let us know if it works for you!

Any news for TOMTOM???

Hi everybody!
I'd like to use the shift in my car installing TOMTOM.
I read many threads here and there are many opinions....
I have no problem to use the shift with vista side on, in fact I have the car power cable.
Is there someone who installed tomtom on WM side and maps on VISTA side using a browser network which is really functioning???
Can I have an help?
Thank you very much!!!
Beppe
I think Garmin has a similar navigator app for windows(vista), you might want to look that one up.

X1 as a GPS Mouse for Netbook

Hello!
I want to ask if it is possible to use the X1 as a GPS Mouse for a Netbook via bluetooth.
I had the idea to run a Navigation Software on my Netbook and I don´t want to buy an extra external GPS Mouse and so I wondered if that would be possible?
best regards
CybertechX1
Im not sure what you mean with "gps mouse", but you can use GPSGate to transfer gps signal over bluetooth or even via usb(activesync).
Sorry maybe my english isn´t always the best.
But I think that is something what I´m looking for.
I want to use the GPS Signal from the X1 for a Navigation Software on
my Netbook.
Looks like GPSGate can do this for me.
Thank´s a lot.
Simply put, you just want Xperia to act as a GPS receiver for your netbook, no?
Yes, I simply want to use the X1 as a GPS Receiver for my Netbook.
get the gps2blue program on the x1 and it does
and it's free

So you want to go geotagging with 3 devices: Camera, Phone/GPS and a netbook to connect them?
Possibly you can cut out the middleman. Just have your GPS create a track, and later, when at your desk, software like http://www.vso-software.fr/products/atomgps/photo-geotagging.php can be used to match the time you took the photo with the position of your track at that time. No need to have your netbook up and running........
