please help

my new htc fuze want allow me to install a cab,it says the file is unsafe.i have hard spl and installed a custom rom but how do i install a cab?

is there any way to via SPB backup or any other backup tool
and any one have the backuped rom wm 6.5 from kaiser
if no then please make it possible for me so i could upgrade via this procedure

and no you can't upgrade via SPB you need to flash which needs hard-spl the instructions are in noob guide how to flash as stated several times...

How to Upgrade My SE X1 WM6.1 to WM 6.5?

I dont know if iam posting in the right area, this thread may be posted but i couldnt find it! I'm a noob user to X1 someone plz help me to with upgrading WM 6.1 to WM 6.5 so i can get "Touch-IT_BT_23541_2.1" on my phone. I have been tried to flash this rom to my phone for like 2 days now but it keep getting stuck at the loading screen (the screen after the tricolour screen)!

hardSPL will make yoou able to flash a wm6.5 ROM.
And as I said, read the stickies:
1. How To Backup Your Stock Rom
2. How To Install HARD_SPL (So that you can install custom roms)
3. How To Install A Custom Rom
4. How To Install The Stock Rom (For Warranty Reasons)
5. How To Install STOCK_SPL (Final Part For Warranty Reasons)

I did it like this:
1. Install Hard_SPL.
2. Download a different rom, unrar it and run the RUU (RomUpdateUtility).

Are you trying to update your phone with SEUS? And are you currently using a custom cooked ROM?
Try to flash a stock ROM first, after that put softSPL back and last update with SEUS.

hi thx u for the reply, i tried to update it from the sony site but got that error, yeah i think it is a custom rom, i bought it second hand and it turns out like this.

What OS are you on now? Wm6.1 or wm6.5? You can check in Start - Settings - System - About.
Well....do you want to go back to a stock ROM or do you want a custom ROM? In other words, do you want wm6.1 or wm6.5?
If you want to go back to a stock ROM:
1) look here for your stock ROM and download it

If you want a new custom ROM:

Remember when you flash a new ROM (custom or cooked) your devices memory will get completely erased, so DO A BACK-UP FIRST!

I'm curious also if there's a possibbility to backup the whole state of internal drive like image file on pc's and install it like a custom rom?
for installing the roms itself check thread micro sd rom install or similar

You can use the SPB Backup software ... you have to pay for it but you can use the trail version to do that ... there are many other softwares that do the same thing ... but this is the one I know ...
if you search this forum, you will find other softwares as well ... and as for installing a new rom ... you just have to follow the thread carefully and it will walk you through it ... the one I'm using is the 826X rom and it's well explained in the thread ...
any ways, flashing a winmo rom into your device is easier and safer than the Android ones ... so, it shouldn't be a big problem ... good luck
