Hi
First we had Vodafone which let the gprs connection always on.
Now we switched to KPN which lose connection after some period. That's OK by me, cause we use 2 connections.
1 for work and 1 for internet.
The program in use decides which connection to make.
But big problem is a a popup which state it's not possible to make connection.
In portrait there's a button to ignore it, but in landscape the button is not there.
Is there a registry tweak to turn this popup completely off??
I'm already jusing the kaiser tweak program and i'm jusing mobile 6.1 (collega's who have the 6.0 version of mobile are experiencing the same problem)
tnx in advance.
Found this threat something almost similair

hi everyone
fist of all thank you for all your hard work. and for any possible help you can provide.
here's the problem:
i have flashed a few roms lately, and for some reason my connection isn't stable. i loose it every like few seconds.
details follow:
Location: south Africa, Johannesburg.
provider: MTN
kaiser 130
radio tried: 1.65xxx and 1.70xxx
roms tried: athineOS, simpleOSnaked & lite Garmin dk 10
what i have noticed is that my connection is stable if in the comm manager i turn off 3g mode.
but in roms that don't have this option in the comm manager is there any way to work around this problem?
or a radio that is advised?
tried to set manual network in phone options but it doesn't really care
thanks for the help and keep up the great work!
You should be able to turn off 3G using Adv Config.
Hi,
i have a problem with my htc touch pro.
i tried disabeling the GPRS autoconnect using this metod:
HKCU\ControlPanel\PhoneExtendFunction\EnableCPHSON S = 1 (integer)
HKCU\ControlPanel\PhoneExtendFunction\NoGPRSAutoAt tach = 1 (integer)
...perform softreset....
anyway... my phone doesn't seems to care, it keeps autoconnecting to GPRS even if apparently no program needs internet connection.
This is rather frustrating, not from the cost point of view, but because of battery drain.
does anyone know hot to fix this, and stop the GPRS autoconnect ?
and if not, how much battery the GPRS idle connection drains ?
Thanks
Google modaco nodata.
thanks
Thanks for answer, but it would be realy nice not to disable/enable gprs connection with a little software but to be able to connect manually only when i want.
If i use this software, everytime before i want to connect to GPRS i have o acces the software and enable the connction.
I used to operate a HTC Wizard with Windows 6.0 and i never had this problem.
It may be a problem of TouchFLO ??
Hi to All,
I have recently bought new Xperia X1 for my girlfriend and I was convinced that it will allowed me to control data connection similar to the HTC Touch Pro 2 (and what I hate about Android - there is no way to control data connection and phone is permanently connected)- when I push disconnect hardware button it disconnects data connection what is great to save the battery. Do you know if it's the only way to disconnect form data connection using Communication Manager or it's possible to do some tweak?
Kind regards and thank you for your help in advance!

hey
there is the nodata app from modaco, very efficient
do a quick search and give it a try
best
There is also the attached app that can be configured to auto-close after desired inactivity timeout.
