This may have been broach before but...... - XPERIA X1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I cant find it.
So please bear with me, Problem with a2dp.
It seems loads of people have had a prob with ring tones only playing on their headset, and want the ring tones on their handset, I have the opposite, my headset stays on all day in a noisy environment and I want the ring tone (mp3) to ring on my headset, atm all I get is a couple of tones and the ring tone and vibe is on the handset and quite often I miss the call completely.
any redirection or help would be appreciated.

It seems this happens only when Microsoft Voice commander is installed, I uninstalled it and now my MP3 ring tone comes through my a2dp headset, but of course Im now without voice control of the phone, again any help or guidance would be appreciated

Ringtones in Bluetooth Headset; NOOB Question

I have custom created ringtones and notification sounds, that I have installed on my phone. I have saved them all in the MP3 format.
When someone calls, I hear the ringtone in my Bluetooth headset. When I press the button to answer the call, on the headset, the ringtone still plays for several seconds before it stops and the caller can hear that last few seconds of the song. This can be anywhere from 2 to 5 seconds.
If I answer the call on the phone itself, and listen through the built-in ear piece - there's no music. So at this point I'm assuming that it either has something to do with playing music over bluetooth... or that the ringtones are MP3's and not WAV files or whatever...
The bluetooth headset is a Plantronics 655, in case that matters.
T-Mobile Wing (WM6).
Thanks!

BT Mono Headset Ringtones not through phone

OK!
I feel stupid.
I am running a Tilt and a Jawbone headset.
With the bluetooth on, the ring tones go through the Jawbone. How do I make them go through the phone's speaker instead.
I did read a thread about this issue someone else had, but it was with a stereo headset, which the JB isn't
Thanks!
I feel stupid too - I have the opposite problem. The Bluetooth hands free in the car doesn't ring on INcoming calls... just the Kaiser rings (and if its in my case I don't hear it)
I guess its a setup issue - any suggestions?
Graham

Send *all* sound to BT headset?

Is it possible to have the Tilt on Vibrate mode and still have the stereo Bluetooth audio active? If I'm listening to my headphones, surely that means that I'm in a place where I don't want to have the phone ringing or alerts sounding off on the phone....
I'd like to have the phone in vibrate mode and all audio piped to my Jabra BT8010. However, when I move the volume sliders down and set it to "Vibrate", I lose headphone audio. Am I missing something?
Curtis
Since all audio is now in your ear, you don't really need vibrate as you will hear the ring in your headset as well as any other audio..... There may be a reg tweak to get vibe and ring but I don't really see the point.

The issue is that my phone still rings (loudly). If I'm using the headset, I don't want my phone to ring. If I turn my phone to vibrate, I can't hear any BT audio (ie. no music in the stereo headphones).
What I want is to have my phone silent and still play music broadcast via BT to the Jabra BT8010.

I see, I didn't notice this. When I've been using the vibe toggle button while in meetings, I can use the BT headset and hear rings in it and get voicemails etc. I just didn't try to listen to any other stored content, hmmm.

If you go to phone settings, your able to send incoming calls to vibrate, thus allowing other sounds to work as well.
Settings -> Personal -> Phone -> Ringtype -> Vibrate

ringtone over BT headset

Hi,
I've searched this forum and other forums but I didnt find answer to my question.
I want to hear my ringtones in BT headset instad of the orginal headset crappy ringtone. (I use motorola H350)
I know that mobile phones (i.e. Nokia e65) has no problems in doing that, can our very powerful device do this? Is there any patch to fix this?
I know about possibility of redirecting all tones to headset but I don't want this. I want that my Kaiser rings and my headset plays the same ringtone. (Sometimes I don't hear the ringtone of the phone, and since I hear it in the headset I might know who is calling - if I use different ringtones for different people.)
Thanks for any response.
P.S. The thing I found bizzarre was, that I found some threads about it but none of them said univocally how to do this or that it is not possible.

I use Microsoft Voice Command 1.6 and it seems to make the ringtone I set come through my Jawbone instead of the Jawbone's default ringer.

[Q] Rigtone is on phone instead of BT headset

Whenever I'm connected to my Blueant headset, the call still rings on the phone, not the earpiece. After one or two rings, a funky kinda ring does sound on my headset, but this is not my preferred setup. On my other phones, the correct ring automagically was transferred to the headset and the phone stayed silent. Is there a setting somewhere that can fix this? Most obliged....
