Just got me self a HTC Diamond and having a very strange problem,Please guys help me out
Problem : Supplied HTC Headphones lost all bass and strength and become totally meek...Sound through HTC headphones was perfect on the first day
but soon after synchronizing and general usage lost all bass and became meek.No,I dont mean slightly(Because of audio booster settings) but totally loose all bass.
Hard Reseted the phone and sound through supplied HTC headphones was perfect again...but soon after some usage and syncing of contacts....the sound goes flat again.
Have hard reseted the phone about 4 now but same result they are fine on hard reseting but soon after loose all bass.
However,while using Sony erricsson bluetooth headphones they are fine with general low max volume not as good as wired HTC supplied headphones.
Please Windows genius guys..Help this depressed girl:-(

I have had my htc for 2 days now and love it, I've tried a few tweaks and alls well except the ringing volume I just find it very poor
Is there a tweak to increase the volume ?
I've tried a couple of different ring tones, adding mp3's but all to no avail, I called at the shop where I bought it from and compared it to another htc just to make sure it wasn't just my phone and there's was the same. Is it just me ?

I agree with you. Hopefully someone will come up with a registry tweak.
Diamond does not have a very powerful loudspeaker. You can not reg tweak that

I agree compared to the S730 (my previous phone) the Diamond is about 1/2 the volume of the Wing at the Diamonds max setting
Download "Mp3 Gain" software and set your ringtones gain to "100". Now your phone will ring like big disco.
it can cause the quality to get bad though but for ringtones
the little speaker killed quality anyway

If it's just audio via the headphones check http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=410722&page=2 for a workaround for the audiobooster disabling itself every time you unplug headphones (and then not letting you re-enable it).
For the speaker volume, I think there are other threads in the forum, but I'm not sure if the protections put in place by default are safe to disable - aren't they there to make suer your small speakers are not damaged?

The volume, specifically in SPEAKERPHONE and EARPIECE is too low for my aging ears. I need it louder. I have tried th following:
the reg hack that changes the init vol and speaker levels from 4/1 to 10/10 - in wm 6.1, however, the init vol always reverts back to 4 ater a reboot or shutoff.
I cant seem to be ablte t permenently increase my volumes on ATT's new 6.1 Rom that I got from the HTC site - Help please...

Hello, I am having this same problem , but only with the earpiece volume on the phone I posted a thread however no response...I would like to try the audio booster and or changing the settings from 4/1 to 10/10 can you guys give me a hand on how to complete those tweaks? My earpiece volume is soooo low on the phone I have to use speaker or a bluetooth headset just to use the phone. Thank You in advance.
I wounder if there is any program out there that makes delays in the vibration so it gets more noticeble and maby slows it down a litle so it don't sound that much.

X1 vibration sucks. I cannot feel it when in my pocket and it is louder than my ringtone when on low volume.

I only managed to make Valert work on my Xperia X1.
Has anyone got TreoVibe to work on Xperia X1? I liked it better than Valert, but the problem is it won't start after device reset. I did exactly what was in the readme but nothing.
