I wounder if there is any program out there that makes delays in the vibration so it gets more noticeble and maby slows it down a litle so it don't sound that much.
I thank you already.
yh i second that. just something to stop the long constant vibration and split it up into short burst or sumthin...
Search for VAlert or TreoVibe
How to improve X1'vibration?
X1 vibration sucks. I cannot feel it when in my pocket and it is louder than my ringtone when on low volume.
my ancient nokia had a better one than this >.<
just one of the problems with this phone :'(
That's why you use the application "Vibro"
"Vibro" works very nice sms/phone/e-mail vibration custom patterns...
I only managed to make Valert work on my Xperia X1.
Has anyone got TreoVibe to work on Xperia X1? I liked it better than Valert, but the problem is it won't start after device reset. I did exactly what was in the readme but nothing.
where can I find the app. Vibro' ?
vibro thread
found it with search
cheers

Hi there,
Does enyone know if it's possible to increase the overall volume of the ringtone and sms sounds...? (some kind of tweak mabye) I've got it on max but often I must really on the vibration to notice a sms or call. I often only hear the sound very soft.
Thanks..
ps i've the system volume only on 3 bar's orso, but that shouldn't effect the ringvolume should it??
I too have this issue, sound is pretty quiet to be honest. The answer i got was not helpful, basically said live with it.
yup, it isnt any where near as loud as my K-JAM (Wizard) was, but then my K-JAM was no where near as loud as my Ericsson P900 was, etc etc...
the speaker phone is an absolute joke, unless you are in a sound controlled ultra quiet room.
it seems that with every new phone and the speakers get worse rather than better.
I also find the diamond to be too quiet. I am a truck driver who drives refrigerated wagons. When parked on a bay I use my phone to watch films or listen to podcasts. But with the sound of the fridge I cannot hear anything. My old tytn 2 was spot on for sound. Any reg hacks or third party programs to boost sound? I have looked without any luck. I may have to find a mini usb speaker.
Use a player with pre-amp; for example, CorePlayer.
coreplayer`s volume doesn`t have any effect to windows sounds.
he asked for sms and speach cenversation loudness.
There is a registry hack Swiftblade uses. It's been posted in his ROM thread in the ROM section. That should do the trick
Edit: here's the link to the thread. You'll have to find the right posting yourself, though: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=408109
ok found it
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\AUDIOGAIN]
"EAC_GAIN_EMBEDDED"=dword:77
but when i look at my registry there is no ...\AUDIOGAIN why ??
i think you have to create a entry
no change, still quiet
I am annoyed by the low ringtone and text message alert volume, too. I'm using the bElite 0.95 ROM and I tried adding that entry to the registry. It did not change anything.
Well if the registry key isn't there I would assume the HTC audiogain application isn't installed, so there's nothing to read that value. Hence making any changes futile.
My advise: try finding the cab for that app, or try with another (perhaps stock) rom
Dear Bros,
Find that HTC Diamond volume really soft...somtime even it ring also can't hear..listen mp3 also having a hard time..Is there any way to solve this issue??
Any programme or solution that can enhance the sound n vol quality?? Hope bros here can advise me. Thank u so much.
I agree compared to the S730 (my previous phone) the Diamond is about 1/2 the volume of the Wing at the Diamonds max setting
Download "Mp3 Gain" software and set your ringtones gain to "100". Now your phone will ring like big disco.
it can cause the quality to get bad though but for ringtones
the little speaker killed quality anyway

If it's just audio via the headphones check http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=410722&page=2 for a workaround for the audiobooster disabling itself every time you unplug headphones (and then not letting you re-enable it).
For the speaker volume, I think there are other threads in the forum, but I'm not sure if the protections put in place by default are safe to disable - aren't they there to make suer your small speakers are not damaged?
Well this is a simple tweak just the audio boost as a cab overwrites the audiopara3.csv and audiopara3_xc.csv to two new ones that are tweaked to full boost. Hope you like your new boosted sound.
anyone try this already?
Is it going to make the sound louder?
It has the audiopara3_xc.csv from optxperiabeta2 and audiopara3.csv edited by me to a full boost, only thing it does it overwrites this files, if you are not shure, make a backup of this two files first.
Very good !! I will try and amazing ... it boots sound in my Xperia X1.
Now i am use ROM : Touch X NUT, 6.1 !!!
Thank you again !!
Some one can test, if some one afraid, can backup 2 file Owner Topic said ( C:/Windows/ ) and can try to install --> Boots about 50% sound !!!
( I'm in Vietnam so English is bad )
i d installed optxperiabeta2. which had boosted the sound a lot. now i intslled this, sounded no louder than before for me anyways
works, thanks. Anyway its enough for me
will this work for Xperia x2? can someone check?
Hey it work for xperia x1i, install it since 28/3. Not problem for me.

hi mate,
I've been using optxperiabeta2 for almost 1 year now and I never experience any hardware problem with it.
will this boost in call sound (headphone and loudspeaker) or just ringing sound....
hey works absolutely fine. thanks, this has really boosted my audio.
infact it is fantastic since the audioboost has happened with no effect to clarity. the clarity remains good if not better.
And the question again: what will this boost? Phone volume, ring volume, speaker volume, loudspeaker volume?
Thanks a lot! it works on my X1!
you should cafefully to use this tool!
when you use this tooth, i gave you a advise about problem of speaker. You shouldn't turn your volumn to 100%, it can make your speaker break down. it's my own experience.
I've used optxperiabeta2 before but it has also caused my vibrate to go crazy, vibrating like hell. So i'm not sure if there was some issue with my phone just the program itself. So i've never used it since that incident. But definitely makes the volume louder though.
Its realy perfect

Anyone confirm this please?
One thing that really bothers me is that when my phone rings the ringtone starts low and then slowly the volume increases. I havent found a setting for this and I was wondering if someone else found a solution for my problem.
same problem, hoping someone can help
Im also wondering about this. it's kinda anoying.

I also have this stupid bug, annoys the hell of me, as i work in a noisy place i often cannot hear the phone ringing before its finished...
I've tried to find a solution, but still no luck.. It's not a largely discussed item yet..
But i cant hardly believe we are the only one with this issue...
+1
Did somebody find a solution ?
Can't help with the soft-to-loud ringtone problem.
But to get a loud ringtone, I sound edited a ringtone file to play as loud as possible (with some distortion) and worked quite well. Not loud enough for a construction site, but OK for most noisy indoor situation. I used Audacity on a PC to increase the playback decibel (I think +5db made noticeable difference).
Thanks for the answer...
It's my first android phone (comin' from a htc touch diamond 2), is it a common problem with android phone or it's only with the o2x?
Is the problem only on stock rom or also on custom (modaco, CM7,...)?

It's not a bug it's a feature!
I hate this to.
Hey guys!
I recently bought Optimus x2 and Im overall very pleased with it. But I have ecountered a thing that annoys me. Im running with haptic feedback on the phone but after the vibration I can hear a faint ring/beep. Is this something you have encountered aswell? Could you test and see if you have it? Just put your ear close to the phone and listen. I just want to know if it is normal or something wrong with the phone.
profile
i ahd the same in the beginning, but some tweaking in the sound profile dit it for me.
but i do'n remember what i dit.
Hi!
Ok, I cant find anything. The sound is a little squeaky. So the question is if it is the sound of the motor spinning up and normal or if the phone is faulty?
Hey guys!
Would be great if someone could help me confirm this. Im a bit worried that the phone is faulty. So if You could put your ear near the phone and press any of the buttons at the bottom of the phone and see if you get a little beep/squeak after the haptic feedback.
Just turned the feedback on (prefer it off myself) but did not notice any squeak or beep, the only sound was the sound of the vibration.
Hi!
Ok thanks for testing. Its like a little beep or squeak just after the vibration. Its noticable In certain situations. Being kinda paranoid with this thing but since I am stuck with this phone for 24 months I want it to work as intended. Im afraid it could be something wrong with the vibration motor. But its been to long to DOA the phone now and if I send it away I will be without it for at least two weeks so I dunno if it is worth it. But since nobody else notices this squeak its either broken or Im to picky with things.
