hi all
i upgrade my pocket pc imate pda2k se2003 to windows mobile 6 professional with (HELMI_BA_WM6_R0_Public Pass newdevicesuck) its working fine but after one day my pocket pc got error (wrong password) i enter correct password many times but it say worng password i soft rest my ppc after soft reset my ppc can't start. reset my ppc many time but problem is still i connect my ppc with desktop pc to syncronise (microsoft active sync) but dont detect my ppc . plz help me what can i do?

There is a bug in WM6...when the main battery is drained or removed you cannot use your password. In this case there is no other option...you have to make Hard Reset!
thx for ur reply.i reset the PPC On/Off button + Reset button.but problem is still it requests passward.How to make Hard Reset and further help.plz reply
If this is true I'm sure you do not perform Hard Reset correctly. If this is new ROM you should go to Boot Loader first.
Tip:How to:
1.Perform Soft Reset
2.Push Record and Camera button at the same time and hold them until the Boot Loader screen shows up.
P.S. You should do step 2. before the Radio version/ROM version appear in the right bottom of the screen.
3.“Enable KITL” must be NO, “Clean Registry Hive” must be YES, “Format Storage” must be YES
P.S. Use the Record and Camera buttons for navigation.
4.Press Mail button.(Do not touch anything until the white screen disappears)
NOTE: IF YOU WANT TO GET RID OT THE PASSWORD(WITHOUT DELETING YOUR FILES) YOU SHOULD PERFORM NO/YES/NO PROCEDURE!

1: I cannot flash my X1 using any methods! see this link
2: When the X1 is on and i'm trying to turn the screen on, i'm pressing the power button but the Dialpad and Calendar will automaticly comes up it's just like i'm pressing dial and left silver button together with power button
3. I think that's why my vol down+power button is not working as well as silver buttons when trying to hard reset!
Please help me, it's not even a long time that i'm using it!

Have you tried flashing by USB method instead of Via Memory Card?

did you turned off your phone by long pressing the off button?
the second way is a little bit tricky:
push reset .. than (no longer than 0,5 seconds) off + vol_down until vibration comes and tree-color-screen.
it works too after taking battery out and than back. but more time for pushing off +vol_down.

Strange this is the second person claiming about the same stuff... anyway... take out memory and try hard reset.

i had the same problem...[after a LITTLE cola damage ]
i contacted the sony ericsson support and they repaired me my x1 [switched a key] even their was set a custom rom...
"if the problem is caused by the custom rom you have to pay 25€ for setting an original rom otherwise we will repair it on guarantee"
so the best thing is to tell the hotline what you´ve already tried and send it to x1 support center...
the german firma "becker&partner" was realy fast...after 3-4 days i´ve got my x1 back
doesn´t know where you are living/how fast the x1 support is in other countries
ANy updates about the problem? Have u been able to re-flash your stock rom back?

Now I have the same problem with my second xperia (even newer) I've done everything possible I guess... :S I'll try to record a video to show everybody what is this all about, and if anyone knows the solution... so now we are two

Hi Wraaaaap and ISP! Today i had the problem num 262 when trying reflash stock bios, and I found the way that don't need to press power + vol down buttons. maybe it might works for U guy. But firstly, your phone have to normally start up, and can access to windowns screen. And then, go to this page http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=431218 follow instruction in order to flash bios again. If Ur phone have 0.72.OliNex (or 0.52.OliNex MFG) U should flash it back to stock bios? Before reflashing bios, take off SD card, copy stock ROM to SD card and remane it to Kovsimg.nbh, put back to the phone...Start flash. and vice-versa if ur phone's bios is tock one. Hope it will help U

nope mate, I just turn it on and starts the bootloader... I'm uploading a video to judge by urselves, I'm doing everything possible but can't get it !

if ur phone stops at silver screen, shows "loading..." so u take off SD card and copy ROm in there (if stock bios so copy stock ROM or 0.72 so copy any cooked Rom) rename ROM to Kovsimg, put the card back to the phone, take off battery and start again. It might work.
don't need to press anything, just power button one time.

The touchscreen of my Tytn 2 OEm ROM R 1.27.15.32 G 22.51.88.13H and D 1.81.00.00 stopped working and i don't know what to do..i did a search on this forum but with not much joy...can the gurus help me so that my touchscreen starts responding....

If a soft reset (stylus in the reset hole or just a power cycle) didn't fix it, do a hard reset.
i did hard reset and now the phone boots up uptp the "windows mobile" screen and stays there...what would be next option?

Repeat the hard reset with the softkeys and stylus.
i tried to hard reset again but now i cant beacuse the left softkey is locked, and cannot be unlocked..howver the activesync is still working..is there any way to hardreset using the PC/.. i wont mind flashing the ROM fresh if there is a step by step procedure for that...

Hi, read this post. It worked for me. Don't forget to backup first so you can restore once your original rom is back on the device.
Problem solved..HTC is great....i did hard reset again and used sprite backup to restore...
the trick is to be very careful when pressing softkeys..they are so small that one can be pressing the red or green buttons..and stylus should be used for very short time (almost as if to touch and retrieve)..anyway all is well that ends well . Thanks gurus and this great site...long live HTC.

the device is unable to boot because either you have turned off hte device incorrectly or tread to instull an app untrust source press volume button up to reset or press any button to concancel this opperation will delete all ur personal setting ...ok it wont let me do any thing ,i dont care if i loose anything but it;s not letting me do anything

which gets you to the hard reset green screen.
still need to coke this phone with a better rom.
anyone know which one is the best and had hebrew?

Clear Storage in system is hard reset. Try megade 1.7.5. All working.
