Direct Push

Is direct push still working for eveyone on cingular, I tried today to see if it was still working and couldnt get a message to come through, i've ran it many times b4, just checking in.

and oh yeah sorry to double post in my own topic, if summiter is reading this are you planning on releasing a 2.5 rom or should i just go with your 2.3.

Go with the AKU 2.3 ROM for now..2.5 will take awhile.
As for uh I just forgot your original question. Oh yeah, DP. It's working swimmingly for me. Here comes the usual troubleshooting question:
Could anything have change related to your Exchange server, either the server itself, or perhaps networking changes? (You know how IT likes to play with firwall rules randomly to dork with the users..)
Can you do a manual sync over ther air?

he's a busy guy, go with 2.3 for now.
my push mail works fine today.

I've been using mail2web.com and worked in the past unless they changed something, and yes I can sync over the air

I vaguely remember reading a thread about one of the public push providers making a change. I don't recall the exact details but I believe it was related to SSL. Perhaps a search on "mail2web" will turn up relevant posts.

1.62.502.0 is not new!!!

Sorry read your link. It says 1/17/2008 I updated then and mine is 1.62.502

Is the one from the Europe FTP the same as US? I can not down load the US one. Maybe some one can post the US?

I don't think I am going to go through the pain and effort of a complete application suite reinstall just to go from 1.62.00 to 1.62.502
Maybe the US will get WM6.1 someday.

This is what the file name is, version number right? Take it at face value.

I'm lost - is this the latest 6.1 release or not?

Its just a test rom with manila (black version) and drivers from HTC Quartz.
otherwise its built on same base as 3.01 wwe only
I buildt this just to see for myself, and I actually like this manila better then blackstone one. (no big changes) sooo, I just decided to share the fun
no need to post bugreports or issues, cause I will not care and totally ignore them.
No need to ask whats in the rom, cause if you can read and think you would have noticed that I just wrote its the same base as 3.01

The Manila looks good. Also seen it on preview videos

What about just releasing the the manila.cab port from it? Wouldnt it be easier to install that rather than flashing it since its the same as your 3.01 rom?

theres also an oem package appeared on dev&hacking, and more importantly a as ov yet unworking version of pie8 !

ive just used the oem version i linked to (changed rgu to reg installed them, and copied files) works fine here, much different to 4 so this is 6
quick install of flashlite and yotoob is working inside pie6
i might see if ican get pie8 working..

aight, thx.

I'm going back to 3.01 from this rom, found one and only bug today.
Gps is hard locking when going into standby.
Can't work out a fix for it, and it was a sod as I was cycling 75 miles back home on a route I didn't know...

Not tested it though, but looking at it it does the same as copying the files and importing the reg.
This works fine on this rom and ITJEs 3.01 rom. I guess it uses the newer pie builds as it doesn't have an exe in there..

Anybody get the latest outta the newer R2 roms yet? One version I found is 5.0.43.63. The current in the Generis R1 UK version is 5.0.43.45...

ive not seen a version past .51
thats what im using based on the us r2 rom..

hmm maybe it was in the generic se version, I'm not sure now as I have flashed this thing with some many different versions...lol

On WHICH version does it say R1? I have the R2A Generic_UK and it says only xxx.63, no R1!

Only thing I can think of is that this was made for the X1.

I am guessing, that when it is extracted there are hidden parts to the string of version numbers.....someone with more experience in this field may be able to give a more in depth response.

Wildchild, glad you got it, why the desperate need for that build. What exactly does it do over the others that's so different?
Don't worry I've read the Releasenote, there's very little change since .51

No fuss really,lol, but it is nice to have the option to update the current UK R1 version to the latest since there is no Updated rom yet that actually works without glitches with the connectivity. It seems to be a bit more responsive then the last build...just my opinion....

i am using the official ROM R2AA010, the version of Arcsoft MMS is also 5.0.43.63, but there is not the selection option in the menu, so i cannot do a multi-selection operation.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
BTW, the link above was not available now, can someone post the cab file once again, thanks.

5.0.43.111 can be found in the new topaz rom.
and since its a wvga it should technically show full incomming mms pics and not scaled down without a reg edit.

Look for builds 23022, 23024 or 23025. Saw some ROMs with 23022 and 23024 for Xperia floating around.
