Unable to update radio rom

After removing Hardspl and installing the new Tmo rom to gain the 4.26 ipl/spl. I reinstalled OT5.0 Light Diamond. Then I attempted to upgrade from 2.83 to the new 3.21 radio rom. Install failed at 75% due to error 270 corrupted image file. I then redownloaded radio rom from thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=396364. Attempted upgrade again failed again. Tried upgrade to 3.18 radio rom, still no dice same error code. Any ideas? Ive got to be missing something.

Yeah, as you've removed the HardSPL from your phone you can no longer flash cooked ROMs simply using the RUU. Either you'll need to HardSPL your phone again, or you need to use the Flash Center for herald. (Search the forums, I can't remember the link. Sorry)
Also, I think you should have posted this in the thread under which the radio was released.

Remove radio from rom

can anyone give me an explanation on how to remove the radio-rom from an original rom. can this be done using duttys nbh tool? (that one was working on the hermes)

i tried using nbhtool. that resulted in a "invalid model id" error during the update proccess. can someone give me the the correct id? (i tried KOVS110)

Cannot seem to flash blackstone??

Hey all,
I currently have the original ROM Version: 1.19.61.1 WWE and i am trying to update the SPL to a HSPL so that i can use cooked ROMs, can someone tell me why this isnt working? I used the HSPL from the sticky thread on this forum yet it hasn't changed anything......do I have to hard reset my blackstone after doing this? I am getting the error [240]:FILE OPEN telling me to update utility.

What type of operation system do you have? Is it vista?

Should make it easier as you don't need to update vista drivers as you're using XP.
Have you followed cRaCKwHoRe's guide to get HSPL or USPL onto your device. Follow link to his guide in my signature.
ERROR [240] - When this error message appears, check whether the downloaded image is placed in the directory of RUU. If, for some unknown reason, you find that the ROM image is not located in the RUU folder, you have to download the RUU and retry again. Check that the contents of the folder is a CustomRUU.exe file and an .nbh file. If you put the os-new.nb file in by mistake instead of the .nbh, this is the error that shows up.

just downloaded again and now im sorted ive got SPL-1.56 OliNex coming up in bootloader mode however my screen is all wierd colours which im hoping will fix once i flash a new ROM, which 6.5 ROM would you suggest? And also do the radio version have match?

well browse the threads of some roms n u can know the best rom for u..
ya once u fash a 6.5 rom all screen problems will be sorted out.
for radio version, they usually are not included on cooked roms

Ok thanks! Its just im looking at downloading dutty's rom however this has a radio code on it does this matter do you think?

well ya it has the radio n well no probs cos its the 1.14 radio..

[Resolved] Unable to flash [fails at 99%]

Shortly after flashing to the niki radio, 1.65.29.22, I saw on the bootup screen, an 'H' in the corner. Having gained not much of a positive experience from this radio, I decided to try and flash to a different radio, a radio I had liked. While doing so, it always failed at 99% whether flashing to two other radios or trying to flash to a different rom.
Long ago, when I had first visited this forum, I remember there was a problem with the radio locking but can't seem to remember what exactly to search for to fix this. Any ideas?

[going to 1.64.21.18] - 262: Update Error
[going to 1.64.21.14] - 270: Update Date Error (Image file is corrupt) [freshly downloaded from 4shared]
Oh, I put in hardSpl 3.56. Would it matter to try the earlier versions?
[Final Edit] Thanks to everyone who helped. Here's the pattern: [In order of execution]
Changed SPL from 1.1 -> 3.56
Changed Radios from 1.65.29.22 -> 1.64.08.21 -> 1.65.21.18

in the kaiser forums as well as the kaiser ultimate radio thread, search for "radio from hell" and make sure (and pray!) that the version you currently have is NOT the radio from hell.

I changed the title of the thread to better describe the issue at hand. I just noticed that after installing Niki radio as listed above, I keep getting flashing issues that fail at 99% whether radio or new rom.

Well, the radio I had listed wasn't found in the thread. So, before I proceed to go through the steps, I would like to know if this is really a symptom that would require going through the steps.

Try another combination of hardslp (change your actual) and try to flash the radios again. Let's see if that works.

[Q] flash 508 new radio

im have been trying for a while to flash the 508 radio on my n1 but i keep getting errors i have been able to get my roms but the radio still is a problem the last rejection was "not signed" can someone please point me in the direction i need to go sorry if this has been asked before

you need to toggle signature before flashing the zip....

i jus found i old tutorial and changed some of the wording for the cmd prompt....is there a way to delete this post???
