~~ Official WM6.1 with Manila 2.5 ~~

hey guys,
sorry if this was asked before (i searched and i didnt find) ...

thanks for the cooked ROMs .. really amazing work ...
but, I tried thousands of times to find a full WM6.1 capabilities (like the official version) with Manila 2.5 and I DIDN'T FIND one ..
the best one i found was from Miri .. but also not good ... missing so many things ...
can't you work on the official version and just add manila 2.5 ????????

locked thread allready.If you dont know anything about roms in general its absolutely ok.But starting a new thread asking for something so ... its spaming the xda's rom developement forum.(even if its quiet lately)Manilla 2.5 isnt even out there,and its too buggy yet.Cooked roms are optimized and in 99% of the cases much faster and accepting.(i mean in terms of compatibility with stuff or software,like 2.5 manila in that case)
I am not a mod, but i think fallen spartan will just tell you the same.I dont mean to be offensive mate,hope you understand.

I told you from the begging .. i like the work done by XDA Developers ..
but, i really wanna use the Manila 2.5 ... i tried so many versions , and they're all buggy and heating the device .. in addition, a very important softwares are not found also ...
I'm just willing to find a normal WM_6.1 but with Manila 2.5 ...

There is nothing wrong seeking info about ROM developments and any development has one single purpose - help the users!. Not everyone is ROM shef or cook and all-in-one expert. Majority are users; and a real developer would always be pleased to inform you the best.
Otherwise! this forum should be reserved only for COOKs, Shefs, Testers and the Users should start another forum to seek info.

Want to use manila 2.5 without bugs? You got to wait,thats all i said..(to keep it simple)

I think that (official WM6.1 + Manilla2.5) = slow ROM & depleted RAM. I'd better choose a custom 6.1 for that purpose

you know what ... maybe my situation is not good for me to be a developer .. but i really like that aspect ...
i live in Cyprus .. and there is no HTC branch even ..
if, for example, my mobile battery got corrupted, i'll not be able to buy new one ! ... even to ship from Amazon or eBay come to cyprus ...
I'll try to learn some .. this holiday ! ...

before your thread is closed by admin, i think you can try Miri's WM6.1+Manila 2.5. this combination will never be OFFICIAL as Manila 2.5 is designed for wm6.5. anyways Miri made such a magic but dont expect it's bug free, ok?
yes, starting a new thread here is not easy. people will ask you to search search search... i dont like it this way too, but i think this is the only way to keep this forum clean indeed.

Manila 2.6 is not 2.6 it is 2.5.1 but has been nicknamed 2.6, dont think you will see a cab for 2.5 due to the complexity of the many files involved, and the various parts of the system it skins etc. I think you will be waiting a very long time for this!

there is no Manila 2.6
have you seen cab file for Manial 2 or 2.1?
you will never see cab file for any manila.

I tried combining wm6.1 and manila 2.5. It isn't happening lol..

Manila 2.5 is not meant for wm6.1, there will always be some incompatibilities and this will continue with future mnaila versions.
Think all of your queries have been answered. Don't want this thread to become a personal Q&A thread. Best advice would be to read & research. I'm always available when online to answer future queries

Tutorial Request for n00bs

Hi guys iv been trying out most of the ROMs on here on my new rhodium and i cant seem to find one that fits my needs, i just want a stock ROM such as the signed one with everything stripped out of it and no viual mods but something that will allow me to add custom clocks, taskbars and such things as in a cooked ROM, i know this isnt a possibility as everyone is out to try and prove themselves so i came to the conclusion that making my own from the stock signed or vodafone roms i have,
I have done some basic programming before albeit in visual studio which does write the code for you but i understand the basics of coding and debugging
I would like to ask for the most basic of basic tutorials or links that will get me started, i.e: You will need Visual Kitchen V3...... [Link] and you will need to have [this] rom and such
As im pretty sure i have most of the resources i just have no idea where to start, I'd really appreciate any help!
I'v been checking out the forum for quite a while and have learned a lot, love the work you guys are doing!

Give me a day or two and my PRO Super D-Lite (just thought of name for my new lite ROM) will be out and you will love the speed of it even with 6.5. I have an early test build in my older thread if you want to try it but the final is coming very soon.
I felt the same way as you with 6.5 but this ROM has me loving 6.5 now

[WM 6.1] Kitchen - Need Help / Lets finish together

hello people
after long time a had the necessity to flash a new rom..because i dont like wm6.5 i decided to cook a new rom but...
i have see, that a lot of things have changed and its is too long time ago that i have cooked my last rom.
so i have looked for a wm 6.1 kitchen, but i must say, that i dont have found somenthing rights.
so i will ask you if you will contributing to this community and help me finishing the kitchen..
i have made the beginn and i will continue traying and reporting changings.
if somebudy can help with advices, packages or tips, it is welcom.
i hope you have understand me (my english is not perfect and i hope somebody will help me.

Hi guys, i've finished my new roms only for portugal / portuguese Xperia x1 users
It has 2 versions, sense 2.5 + cookie home tab + x2 panel manager and camera with autoflash enabled, and, a lite version with only essential stuff that i was asked by users to have.

Helped beta testing this ROM's, namely the lite one, and I'm cured of ORD!
My X1 is a new PDA!

New roms versions !!
Change log:
-new SO build 21095
-fixes to panel manager, only need to press "X" once every restart
-several tweaks, namely memory management !!

Bug fixes and reg tweaks

Best ROM out there for this device, so if you know Portuguese, do not let it pass by.
Recommend it 5 starts. FAST, STABLE, ATTRACTIVE, and the battery is the best I've seen using Windows 6.5 and later.
Another thing is, if you use it, do not forget to help adolfo with some pocket money, as he has spent most of his holydays (I hope not all of them) improving it, and keeping it as stable and fast as it is now.
Keep it up!!

versions 2.1.4 online, outlook performance is a litle better.

Can someone help me how to put 3rd apps or other apps like m2d ,spb mobile shell,psshut,pocket rar office mobile etc on my own cooking rom...
what tool do i need...??
if any pdf tutorial or doc about it,please....please...... i need it badly...........

Maybe you can try another different tools in here bro, but remember it's not easy than you think before and goodluck...
