Can you tell which you found?
And does actually works?
And no reboots?
Ok the one i found only increments in tens, so it doesnt give an exact percentage.

Ever since I got the phone I noticed the battery meter was off. The way I see it the bar should represent nearly any % of the total capacity. Well, I don't know if this is the case and I was wondering if anyone else has input. I've been using the phone Status to find the actual % of the battery to actually judge how much juice is left. Often times I'll find the battery reading at 80% or maybe even less and the battery meter shows full. Anyone else having similar problems? Is there a fix or does the bar only show approximate values at certain increments (i.e. 25%, 50%, etc.)?
Same here, when the battery image is at 75% there's realy only 45% left. Kinda annoying but i got used to it

anyone else have input or maybe a possible fix?
bloody awful isnt it lol
i use a widget from extended controls, or switch pro, they have a % and its bang on
else you can try this

im not even going to bother changing the framework-aes.apk as my phone got stuck in a restart loop last time i modded something made by someone else
Ok so i bought a extended battery i think its the 3000mah version or something like that. well anyways i am on cyanogen 6 stable and with the oem battery it used to show the battery percentage in the status bar and now with this battery it just shows a FULL battery with no percentage. any help is appreciated i tried searching and there was similar threads but not quite the same THANKS BROHAMS!
Deleting batterystats.bin from /data/system doesn't help
what else can I do?
sort of the same problem
even when the battery is down to like 20% it still shows 90% on status
i just ignore it completely and use a third party battery meter like Gauge Battery Widget

it's simply the best!
@op, do you mean the battery indicator in the notification bar always shows full or when you check the status screen? there were quite a few times when i would delete the battery stats on my nexus one and the battery status would show 100% for 5 hrs or so, but eventually it would start to drop. once i fully charged it again it would work normally. one of the few things i hate about the galaxy s is that the battery meter in the notification bar is so out of whack. i hate having to check the settings page all the time and i stopped using battery apps due to battery drain
use the widget/status bar icon i recommended above
Allgamer:
Thank you but my problem was battery showing 100% all the time, it doesn't metter if I use widget or other method.
hondaguy:
Thank you
evantually it started dropping (after few hours)
now it's o.k.
The Galaxy S will show in the notification bar as '100%' untill the 75% mark is reached.
Hi all,
Recently I've used battery percentage on the statusbar of my Milestone and found out a weird issue with the battery. The battery percentage goes up to maximum of 100 percents with a normally full recharge but it drops down to 99 percents right away whenever I unplug. This issue at least happened on FroyoMod and even with CM7.1. I setup 1% battery from Settings or install battery tweak from Market- still the same, then trying from wiping battery status in recovery mode but nothing changed.
Would Any one give me a workaround for this issue, please?. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks all.
Thats the way how it works, nothing wrong here
