When i write mz gmail adress and pass and it pass me than it say SIGNED IN SLIDE KEYBOARD BACK TO CONTINUE. when i slide it back nothing happend. i try reflash FW. please help. What can be there broken? any sensor which know when is keyboard up or down? or any mechanical thing? heelp

Did you wipe before flashing?
Yes. notthing happend. I must know what hardware part is bad. and replace it.

OK! PROBLEM SOLVED! I founf excellent magnet in Notebook HDD. It was 1mm high. (excellent) and i can broke it east that i can make about 7x5x1mm magnet then i use glue and everythings work

Just one question, does "Virgin" appear on your lock screen? It doesn't appear on the lockscreen or notification bar but it shows up in Settings > About > Status. That's on Cyanogen Mod 4.17, on Hero it shows up as normal. When using an O2 SIM the carrier shows up as normal on Cyanogen 4.17.

I'm afraid I have no idea - but could I ask, what plugin are you using to get your tcp data? (network throughput etc)

it's a program called IP Dashboard.
very handy piece of kit, it auto changes depending on what connection is being used: usb/bluetooth/phone/gprs/wifi etc
O2 Active installs its own Time/Date Today plugin which is different to the standard one that you received with the Corporate install.
If when you had the o2 stuff installed you ever looked at your Today options you should have noticed there were two clocks...the stock one, and the o2 active version.
I'm sure there are plenty of utilities and plugins you can get to display the time as well as the date to appear - though why you'd want to when you've also got both on the taskbar is beyond me :? :wink:

Er, I do. It's handy when you've got the machine turned off, you want to just check the time and you don't want to enter the password just to get it - every other mobile phone user on the planet has that abilty. Also, when you're doing something on the XDA2i and you want to check the time, I don't fancy having to Start / Today, just to get back to the Main Screen just to check out the time - before I just glanced to the Taskbar.

I installed as guided, restarted and went to personal settings. There is a pictogram but 1st. without text 2nd. If i click on the pictogram, a split second the screen refreshes? but no changes in the sizes of the fonts 3rd. Also the pictogram is the first pictogram.
Who helps?

Am I the only one that thinks these kinds of things are pretty pointless? I mean they seem like a good idea at the time - the ability to navigate the start menu by hand seems brilliant. But when you ultimately have to get the stylus out to use the application you just launched, I'm just left wondering if I've saved myself any real time or effort.
in this case i do not think it is useless - you can hit start menu by pressing OK button on the side and then you can navigate to the program menu or last used apps or setting. during having pda in a car holder it can be useful the same way as in bus or tram or what ever... just my opinion

funnily enough, i'm having the same deal when installed on Hermes WM5
works fine on Touch WM6 though.
i know it's not Kaiser, but people keep putting software threads all over different places in forums when they are not just relevant to one type of device.

Sorry, not sure what I'm looking for, I'm a bit stupid when it comes to technical questions about ROMS etc... where do i look?
both devices have the original T-Mobile ROMS as both are under warranty and I'm too chicken**** to attempt any changes (despite the infuriating lack of storage memory on the Touch... aaaaargh! )

Having gotten no help from HTC im posting this here (previously sent as a support request to HTC)
Afther having set a device password (Settings > Personel > Lock) I'm unable to enable the Key Lock. I checked the following settings:
- Settings, Long Press End Key is set to Automatically Execute: Lock Device
- Settings, Key Lock is set to Lock all buttons except Power button.
I get no error messages, the only thing I see when holding the End Key is a short flicker of the screen, after which the Home Screen comes up. Do note that the keys are not appropriately locked.
ROM version installed is latest HTC original ROM:
_HTC Touch Diamond_MR_RUU_Diamond_HTC_NOR_2.03.409.1_Radio_Signed_Diamond_52.51.25.26_1.09.25.23_Ship
So far all i have gotten from HTC is the following response:

Don't know if it's just an automated respons or they just can't be bothered to give a sane message.
1) Why are they refering to Touch HD when I clearly stated that it was the Diamond i was refering to
2) They can't seriously expect anybody to belive that it works as intended and you aren't supposed to be able to lock you phone when you have set up a device password

Sounds really odd, but I got what I wanted with TouchLockPro software.
Touch HD is having the same "issue" and maybe that explains HTC supports reply.
Thanks Meiz, that actualy made a stange kind of sence. Couldn't help my self probing HTC a bit more so i replied to their original answer with:

Yeah, seen it, but never encountered the bug myself. Not sure if I should update.
I actually didn't notice this bug on my Diamond2 until they posted this hotfix. You have to look more closely on the screen to see the slightly cutoff "WiFi, Bluetooth, phone, data" display.

That's a picture from my own phone... As you can see it's a small line just at the top of the words WiFi, Bluetooth, Telefoon and Gegevens that's missing.
However, it's very nice that they actually post a hotfix, especially if you can't download it...

in traditional chinese version, this issue is obvious cuz the "letters" in chinese is very complex

I had this issue not from the beginning with my topaz. Maybe caused by changes with HD Tweak?

No, I'm using the original ROM.
Somestimes the square disappears for a while, then comes back, e.g. after launching opera, album view. Where does it come from?

The problem is: Finger Keyboard 2.1
The solution is very easy: you just need to set "show bar" on the option screen of FK to resolve this problem

Indeed I'm using FK 2.1. Will try your solution and will give feedback here.
Questions:
1. Both bars in portrait and landscape mode?
2. Do the authors of FK know about this issue? Or should I tell them?
And : How did you get this solution - wouldn't have thought of FK for this issue ...
edit: Seems to work. Square disappears immediately after changing the option in FingerKeyboard. Will keep on watching ....

If i remember correctly i found the solution in the Finger keyboard 2.1 thread, here in xda.
I don't remember who wrote it...i just searched for it when i had this problem and asked for a solution in this forum.
