Hi guys, I am having trouble flashing with SD card and want to flash back to my original rom. My X1a is not reading my .nbh file even after hours of trying to read up on it and reformatting etc. Is there a way i can do it through activesynce instead like installing Hardspl? I know its more risky but I have no other choice! Please kindly help me! Thank you! Links to software etc is greatly appreciated!!

Hi,
I was trying to follow the hero rom threads, faq's and all the reading.
I have since read the Fix that SPL thread, and the brick thread.
I want to just start over and put everything back to how it was before I started to do any kind of altering.
I have an SD card in the system, I flashed the new radio, and new hardSPL, but it is stuck on the Loading screen when i first turn my phone on.
I just got an external sd card reader, can anyone instruct me on which radio, and spl files will get my phone back to its original state?
Any help is appreciated, and thanks. Be easy on me, i've done a lot of reading and searching through all threads to try to find this...
Does anyone know which SPL files or radio files will get my phone back to default state?
Wiping wont work...
So people around here sometimes get troubled with regular flashing that doesn't work anymore.
I'll explain my problem on this part:
I flashed to a new ROM just to find out that i didn't like the content so i wanted to flash back to TOUCH X.
I did the usual stuff to flash my phone with, Hardspl, then bootloader etc. etc.
PROBLEM!
Now all my phone seems to be doing is go into bootlader and start updating. However, after 3 seconds i get the message that the update is complete. My phone resets itself, and i found out that nothing has changed. I tried it a number of other times, without results.
Now my question is: is there any other way to do this, this is obviously not working!
post all your ideas here so other people can read this in case that they have the same problem!
Everytime you flash a ROM, you do not need to hardspl your device, only once...I would reformat your memory card, use a stock original rom and see if it will flash with that....usually the issue you are seeing is because the nbh file is not being read properly, make sure your nbh file is named correctly.I have had the issue earlier in my days where if I copied the nbh file through active sync something gets screwed in the transfer...used an external card reader and copied it to my memory card after formatting it and it went through....just some suggestions....Good Luck

Nope, didn't do anything..
Any other suggestions?
EDIT: Really a lot of thanks for anyone helping, i really would love to start flashing again!
grateful for the help arnt you..
try flashing the USB method, if it works its probably due to your memory card. (unless ur already using the usb method, then try the memory card method!)
How do i use the USB method exactly?
And really guys, thanks for all the feedback, maybe make this a sticky for future reference?

well what you do is download the file attached to this post (it is available in one of the stickies but when i tried to download it, it failed so i zipped this one up for you)
extract the .exe within to where your nbh file is (not on xperia, on computer)
make sure there is no KOVSIMG.nbh on your memory card!
put your phone in bootloader (tricolour screen) and plug in via USB
run the custom_RUU.exe and follow the prompts pressing next etc.
you don't have to sync via activesync 1st like it says.
ignore the version number of the ROM just make sure your using the correct nbh and flash!
urm i think you should at least try to look at the stickies .........
this is very useful. i had problem flashing using micro sd so all my flashes are via usb.

That seemed to have done the trick people!
Thanks very much and keep up the good work!

He must restore stock rom first and restore stock SPL only after!!!
This RUU always works for me:
-extract the folder
-put your nbh file in the folder
-sync your phone
-run RUU
Thanks guys, I'll give it a try!
Hi guys im a noob when it comes to these things but ive searched everywhere and this is the only place where im sure you guys can answer my question. anyways i have a Touch Diamond 3g and my internal memory went missing after i put music on it using my Vista PC. ive read all the threads here regarding this problem but cant seem to get it to work. i was wondering if anyone has a cooked rom with the internal memory fix. Thanks in advance.

i tried that and it froze.
you can try MTTY..

Read the entire intruction before you do anything. Good Luck.
will someone be able to convert or compile the sprint internal storage hotfix so it can work with mine? any help will be greatly appreciated.
Anyone? Please
A few days ago I could not boot my X1 after flashing to a new rom. It came up with "Loading" and no image found. I was able to recover it with MTTY using a windows XP machine. I am now trying to flash to the newest version of CHristian's rom but I can't even hard SPL without getting stuck at the "loading page" again. I am able to pull the battery out and place it back in to boot back up to the OS. I also tried to do the SD card method and that didnt work.
I think something is wonky as last time I hard SPL'd it was a "success" but it just reloaded an old version of Christians Rom.
Please help. I have searched high and low on the forums and all i can find is people with the problem but no answers.
Thank you!
hey im nt no expert but have you tryied hard reseting the device to default settings, then formatting your memory card and then trying to port the rom across? i wonder if that would help!

Shameless bump here. I still have not been able to resolve this. I can not seem to Hard SPL.
Answer:
I used the SSPL method from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=431218 to finally get Hard SPL to work.
Hope this helps other people
