How long are the ring tones suppose to play for until it reaches voice mail?
I answered in the thread you started a few hours ago. Please don't start new threads on the same subject.
As fingerlickin would say 42 minutes.
LOL 42 the answer is always 42
For those running a search and wanting to change the time it takes before your phone goes to Voicemail, try this - http://iluvandroid.com/how-to-change-the-time-before-voicemail-diverts-call/

Our phones have been out for 9 or so months now. I'm curious as to how much time do we actually use our phones as telephone. So, post your call duration times!
it can be found at start/settings/system/device information/call duration
my incoming is at 34hr.18min.40sec.
outgoing is at 28hr.33min.38sec.
it's funny to think that i've spent almost 3 days talking on the phone in 8 or 9 months i've had the phone....
Incoming - 55hr 40 Min 49 Sec
Outgoing - 27hr 39 Min 16 Sec
Does this reset on a hard reset or no?
Anyways, i've had my Tilt since around Novemberish and it's 8hr 10 min 14 sec incoming and 9hr 33 min and 13 secs outgoing.
WOW, I flashed back to the att rom about a week ago, and now my call duration is 0. I thought the call duration stays, no?

No but HTC do have a 'for technician use only' tool that allows resetting this along with other things that cant normally be changed. Have a read of the TyTN II manual (accessible through the WiKi) for details.

@tubaking182
Looking at your reaction I guess I should'nt be feeling too pleased with myself then . Would it help if I told you my monthly cellphone bill hardly goes over 25USD .
@bapssystupr3m3
I personally hardly text. Maybe a text or two a day.
@thomassster
I use the handsfree as much as possible.

u have the option of changing it to 30 seconds in settings/phone. i hate voicemail so i tried to turn it off; t-mobile then sets it to 15 seconds which is the default
the icon issue is a pain, the only way ive found around it is to delete the message then turn off and on. tedious yes, works yes, annoying yes
dont think its the phones fault though
where?
I can't find those ettings in settings/phone... could you please tell me where to change to 30secs?

T-Mobile allow you to adjust upto 25 second delay until voicemail is initiated.

Could someone help me find a list of optional Registry Values, I’ve Key-word searched but cannot find any threads on this?
I already have an understanding of “options” & “AvailableOptions” with their values and the effects, but I can’t find any info of the “Duration” string, most decimal settings for this one are set to “5” such as in HKCU\controlPanel\notifications\(a877D660-239C-47a7-9304-0d347F58040) but what is 5’s efect and what other options are available?
My problem is although the new text message, play sound, repeat box, is checked under the Sounds & Notifications tab, the sounds desist after about 15 minutes I would prefer them to continue indefinitely until I interact and especially on the low battery warning.
Also these warnings start off every 20 seconds tapering off to every 5 minutes before ceasing I would prefer simply every 3 or 5 minutes ceaselessly.

Try this !!
http://www.pocketmax.net/alarmPal.html
Yes thanks for that much appreciated. I would also like to have a sound of my choice when it’s in sleep mode at regular 3 or 5 minute intervals continuously when the battery is down to perhaps 10% do you have any ideas for this please?

Do you mean an audible and repeating Low Battery waring ?
Yes that’s exactly what I would like if you can suggest anything.
I do have the freeware Batti 2.4 however this only gives me a single warning sound at Battery-low and one further single warning at critical. As I often leave my Diamond on my desk at home for two or three days at a time without even going to it, unless someone rings me on it I forget to check if it needs re-charging, previously it has gone flat and turned itself off without me realising as I was probably in my workshop when it gave both of it’s Wav. warnings.

I'm lucky if I get 3 hours never mind 3 days !! That's an exageration but it will never do 24 hours.
I'm pretty sure that AlarmPal won't help (don't think Low Battery records as a Reminder) and don't know of any s/w that will do it but join and post on 4winmobile site. There's loads of knowledgeable and helpful guys there.
BTW I think this is the key for low battery;
HKCU\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A877D663-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408}
Ok yes the 4winmobile. Site look good, I’ll scan through the threads there first off. Thanks for your help.
It would seem that it sorts the thread by the time on the message for incoming texts, but by the time on the device for outgoing texts. This means it relies on the clock on the device being spot on when sorting the messages in the thread. It turns out mine was a couple of minutes fast, so it meant that in a fast-paced conversation I just had, it was placing replies before the questions, because the timestamp on the message coming in was a minute earlier than the timestamp on the question going out.
Sure, I'll make sure my clock is correct (can't the device do that for itself, from the carrier?), but it's still potentially an issue because it only has to be a minute out.
I searched the forum, but I don't see any answer to my question.
I am on Fido (i.e. roaming on Rogers)
My X1 keep synchronizing with the tower's clock everyday....... and since rogers doesn't change their tower time during summer for daylight saving.... i have to adjust my clock 1 hour faster everyday (as it will delay one hour again tomorrow)..... which is really annoying as i use my phone to wake me up in the morning... and even worse..... it changes all my schedules by 1 hour earlier...
My question is...... is there any way i can fix this 1 hour delay problem? or is there anyway i can disable the time sync function?
Thanks in advance.
I'm with Rogers, and I'm not getting this time bug you are talking about. There is a setting to disable Automatic time change. Settings -> Phone -> Timezone.
I've had a related time bug on my XPERIA where my text messages were showing up as the wrong time received. Had to add a value to the registry to fix it.
