Is there any application from which we can listen to music through bluetooth in g1?
its not very clear what you mean?
And LOL on the bold code
The built-in Music app is fine for this. You just need a bluetooth device that supports A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) - most two-eared headsets have this, most one-ear headsets don't and will only be used for calls. Then pair it with the G1 (Settings / Wireless settings / Bluetooth settings) and look for the >B< icon in the notification bar. Any music you play will then come out of the headset, but if you're running the experimental branch of CyanogenMod, or potentially other Donut-based ROMs, beware of http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=3954
Also, this probably should have gone here or here.
Are there any for one-ear-piece bluetooth headset?

I don't think windows mobile supports the AVRCP profile. (Audio Visual Remote Control Protocol) Can anyone confirm this?
My car stereo supports it, and if my handheld did, I could control the media player with my car stereo.
Edit-
Hmmm, CorePlayer says that the profile is supported, but I can't seem to control anything with my car stereo...
It does...
I have a Parrot MK6100 that does AVRCP and A2DP...
Works fine... albiet a little clunky at times.

Edit: Perhaps its your audio app... I have used the HTC audio player and windows media player... both work.
pocket player
I use pocket player from conduits. It works perfect with a2dp and avrcp. It also has full screen album covers and will even download the album cover if not in the folder.
Also, read my multimedia-related articles - I've written a LOT on AVRCP.
Anyone know of a handsfree with an mp3 control on this phone? preferrably not a bluetooth headset (is it just me or does the music quality seem to be worse on a bt handsfree?)
Hi! I use this headset:
http://www.amazon.com/Sony-MDREX38iP-BLK-Earbud-Control/dp/B002M78JA2
the sound is realy good, very good bass and hi tones with SRS WOW HD program, start and pause the music, answer calls, make last call with double click, but the only problem in that you can not use the volume remote control, but I am very satisfaced!!!!
note:in the post below you can change parameters for double click, change to next track instead for make last call,y use this and work perfect!

Hey all,
Just wondering, does anyone know what version of AVRCP is on the I9000?
Cheers,
Kenny
There are different versions? I think 1.4 is the only one thats built in any bluetooth stack.
The bluetooth version however is 3.0 on the SGS.
AVRCP has several versions with significantly increasing functionality:
1.0—Basic remote control commands (play/pause/stop, etc.)
1.3—all of 1.0 plus metadata and media-player state support
The status of the music source (playing, stopped, etc.)
Metadata information on the track itself (artist, track name, etc.).
1.4—all of 1.0, 1.3, plus media browsing capabilities for multiple media players
Browsing and manipulation of multiple players
Browsing of media metadata per media player, including a "Now Playing" list
Basic search capabilities
all i know is that i can control everything remotely from my phone to my car receiver and vice versa, i can also control from the car receiver my phone full features
browse, next, skip, back, stop, play, pause, answer call, resume, volume up/down, mute,... not sure if i'm forgetting something
Audio quality is AMAZING!!!!!! the base!! the sub!!! you can hear it all!!!
unlike the WM phones the BT doesn't transmit the full spectrum and always leaves out the Sub base frecuencies
I have CM7 Nightly 181 on my Galaxy S.
I use PlayerPro which launches on wired headset insertion.
Unfortunately, my headphone socket is now 'not so reliable' any more, so I use bluetooth headphones.
Unfortunately, when I switch on the headphones, the music player that launches is the standard 'Music' one.
I'd like a choice of which app launches when I switch on my bluetooth headphone, but there's no 'Defaults' to clear against the standard music app, nor can I find any preference to change this.
How can I change this behaviour, please?
Thanks

+1 Would be nice to know if this is possible. I did a search on google, but none of the forum posts I found had a soloution for this.
(is search deactivated in the forum? can't find the button anymore :S )
When pairing my phone with the car audio the only media control I have is "Pause". The note 4 has Pause, and Shuffle. The iPhone has everything you can think of.
Is there a way to add these additional playback options? A different rom perhaps?
