is there a problem installing original GPS enabled ROM over cooked ones??

I have an HTC P3600 from france (Originally with SFR then deblocked and serial was accepted at HTC site for update) working with english Ausdim ROM and SPL 9.99-CF and i would like to try the original french ROM i downloaded from HTC site or the original english ROM from HTC wiki.
Would that cause a problem or reblock the CIF or block install of any modded ROM later
also if i try the DOPOD original ROM would it cause same problems or not??

should i flash SSPL before using original rom or still use Hard-SPL??

Since nobody answered and I actually tried it
YES it is possible to downgrade from cooked roms to original version but always use SSPL as recommended by trinityguides.info and it will propably revert your SPL & radio version to original But not CID as I have seen.
But you have to install Hard-SPL again before installing a cooked rom.
Sometimes just installing the original rom can unbrick the phone stuck at boot screen even if failed to complete but of course this is not done using SSPL so i dont assume it is that safe

sooo... im stuck on the stock SPL-0.57 bootloader

i've been at this for the better of 9 hours im stuck at the stock .57 spl bootloader screen, it says upgrade rom code error please try again been trying to flash spl unlockers all day.... i get a 0% progress bar and thats it...
i moved to a new computer, redownloaded everything and still the same result.
i hard reset/soft reset, goes right back to the bootloader.
this is a sprint/cdma phone.

Try flashing the Olinex Hard-SPL version if you haven't tried that one already.
If that doesn't work download the OFFICIAL ROM update and install it -- but make sure you flash the correct one. For example, if your HTC Diamond is Orange Branded then download the Orange ROM Update, or if theres no branding then download the HTC version. Since yours is Sprint, see if you can find an official ROM upgrade for that.

thanks for your input! i really do think thats all i need is an official cdma rom, i tried a gsm rom (no worries the CID stops it) and the progress bar acually goes to 1%, so something is working, you wont believe how much i jumped for joy when i saw that.

My brother bought for me X1 from Leipzig Germany its factory unlocked and has no branding. But it has windows in German.
My question is can I flash english rom vithout any spl unlocking?
and if yes please give me link which english wwe rom can flashed to my device.
I have experience with Elfin and Elfin was bought from china has chinese wm so I used wwe elfin rom and directly without unlocking it flashed.
So is there any chance that I can have englisj X1 rom original not cooked that can drieclty flash to my device?

You will need to flash HardSPL for X1 first (it's sticky on this forum), then you can flash UK rom. Remember that German version of X1 have qwertz keyboard, so if you will flash UK rom then some keys will have another function then they show.

But after that hardspl when I will change to UK can I go directly SEUS to recoknized my phone as UK phone and update via website? So if somebody have experience flashed German rom to UK generic and after that tested SEUS service please share here the results.

Can somebody give me link for UK Generic non customized rom I found on forum but it says at then begingn of link Customized UK I need original genereic UK rom please help me to find also if you tell me how to dump my rom I can dume German Generic rom for share with forum

When you've done HARDSPL you can use the SE update service

One more question I have conected with SPL things.
I have experience workign with HTC TOUCH XL USPL tool and flashed lot of roms with that tool but in HTC any time you need to flash another rom you should use USPL tool and then at some stage start RUU and flash your rom.
also if you stack in bootloader or in other stage you can always recover your phone using RUU and your device default rom.
Is this possible in X1?
Lets say I have German Genereic rom deivce I want to flash to UK rom direclty without any SPL tools and stucked in some stage with error. Can I use Kovski RUU and German Genereic rom (which is the my device's defalut rom) and recover from that stage?

You should be able to yes, obviously make sure you've done hardspl before going to the UK rom.
The SEUS uses RUU to flash the rom.
If you have your own rom (such as stock german one) then it's much much easier to flash from the SD card. Jack did a decent walkthrough of that.. but just rename the file to KOVSimg.nbh and go into bootloader (volume down and reset at the same time).

is USPL available for the X1?? or its just the HD?

USPL is not available for Xperia... would be cool if it is made available at some point, though I've already flashed HardSPL!

just read the first sticky thread in this section where the hardspl is available. in the second post everything you need is written down.
important: first you have to flash the stock rom and finally switch to sspl! the attached file in the hardspl thread (relocker) works fine. i also switched back to tstock rom and sspl for warranty reasons with my tp2 (t-mobile germany)

but where can i get the right spl version and what radio version?? i really need to send my phone back.. so pls help^^

Yep, you got the process.
Radio's are in the Sticky by At0mAng.
The Stock SPL 0.79 is in the Hard SPL thread (called relocker). cmonex is working on an 0.84 relocker.
When you're done it should be like it was when you got it.

if anybody can guide me how to get back to original windows 6.1 os of diamond 2 along with original spl and every other stuff needed as there is a hardware problem and i want to take my phone to service centre.
would really appriciate if someone can provide me step by step instructions in details
right now its upgraded to CR192 Mozart (6.5.3.0.6 wwe) with hspl.

For the software - you can download directly from HTC website the original ROM version (or official 6.5 version) and load to your phone the same way you did for Mozart.
For bootloader - check again in HardSPL thread - there is a download provided to restore the factory loader.

Install the RUU from HTC for topaz,it will revert everything to stock.

I wish to restore my Pure to the original operating system (OS) in order to sell it. I've looked for the "HardSPL thread" mentioned, above, without success. Is someone able to point me to that thread or any other thread that will tell me how to restore my OS? I'm afraid that I'm not a very high-tech senior citizen and apologize for this low-level petition for help.
Returning the unit to "warranty status" is not necessary. I only wish to return to the stock ROM.
