alarm/world clock force close problem... - G1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Ok... so I recently removed /system/media/audio/ringtones and notifications to get rid of all the unwanted sounds so I decided to remove the alarm one also. But I have been getting force closes trying to set alarms saying com.worldclock. and the log said can't find media/internal/media...etc. any help is greatly appreciated.

No sms notification

Hello all, a little information about phone:
Magic 32b
Stock SPL
Stock Radio
Cyanogen 4.2.15.1
Have been having issues the past couple of days with sms notifications not actually coming across. No sound, nothing in the notification bar, nothing. However, as soon as I open the messaging app, I see I have new text messages. Anyone else had this problem? Any solutions? I have already run fix permissions to no avail, wiped phone, ext, all that stuff, and still no fix. Any help is appreciated!
Settings
Did you make sure that notifications is checked off in the message settings.
Yea, everything is checked and all that. It only happens periodically, if I have been active with the application, it picks right up, but when I haven't been in it for awhile I don't get anything until I open it back up...
Task Managers?
Do you have any task managers active that might be closing the messaging application? That might be your problem.
I do have a task manager, but always kill it to close out of it. I guess that could be the problem, but how, then, do I verify that the task manager is actually not running in the background and killing off the Messaging app?

Maybe try uninstalling the task manager.

question on force closes

I have a rooted note 3 and started having problems on Sunday. One point my phone screen went black and could not see anything and I finally got it to reboot.
Now I am having trouble opening internet, email and in settings opening fonts. I have tried different browsers and also tried a system restore with no luck.
I know fonster was downloaded but removed and I am thinking it did something to the fonts and creating these FC. Any help advice to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

Closing apps force closes them

Whenever I close apps from my recent apps it automatically force closes them. This is a bit annoying as the apps I close stops giving me notifications until I reopen them. Even my alarm won't go off if I closed the clock app from my recent apps. I know I can lock the apps so that they won't be closed. Though I don't see that as a solution as it means I'd have to have all of my apps open in order for to get notifications, which literally eliminates the purpose of closing apps.
I looked into this thread where it says it was solved by update 2.0.133 ST. I'm currently using version 2.5.462 ST and still I have the problem.
Does anybody have a solution?

No Reminder apps is working on the phone

MIUI v11.0.3 Stable and Android v10 QKQ1.190825.002. Unrooted.
I wanted to install a reminder app where the reminder would pop up with an alarm and can be repeated yearly. I installed about 20 of such 3rd party apps from playstore (Reminder with alarms, To do reminders, Just reminders and many many more) and none of them worked. Set reminders in the next 5 mins and nothing. When open the app after the set time, its just say 'overdue' or something like that. Not even receiving notifications let alone alarms or pop ups. I checked and gave the apps all the permissions possible, added these apps in Autostart section as well..doesn't help. I dunno what else to do, its driving me nuts now. Thanx for help in advance.
P.S. Only 1 app named 'Galarm' worked but it only has 5 free alarms so had to abandon it.

That's because you are using meme UI, which kills a lot of stuff in the background, so meme UI can use your battery instead for the inefficient UI.
