I reformatted my ext2 partition on my SD card and reinstalled cyan 1.4.11.1 and now I can't get any sound at all from the external speaker.... I've tried reflashing the radio, I've tried wipe and re-install of the ROM and nothing is working...
Any other ideas?

After trying many things to correct it I have concluded that:
1. My internal storage is corrupting every thing on it.
2. I can no longer install anything from the internal storage
3. I cant flash from the internal storage.
I have tried hard reset with clearing the internal nand, formatting the internal storage in windows, reflashing to 6 different roms including HTC original.
Any help anyone? getting desparate now.

I had the same problem until I formated it Fat32 in Windows.
I suppose you tried it already.
Regards
Yep, tried formatting to fat32, just tried mtty and task 29 and that did not work. now gonna try task 29, flash an old 1.9x rom, hard reset nand and then reflash to see if that works
i got nexus one running on custom rom.
recently i bought a new micro sd card, class10 16gb.
this is what i did....
1...nanroid backup
2...put new sd into phone and partition it using clockworkmod (14gb fat, 1gb Ext)
3...move all files from old sd (FAT partition) to new class 10 sd using PC.
4...put back new sd into phone and wipe.
5...restore nanroid backup.
everything boot up nicely, but after few minute of using, the phone will freeze.
i have to pull out the battery to reboot the phone.
tried to wipe Dalvik cache, wipe partition, i also tried to do the partition in linux.....but no luck, phone still freeze.....
i redo and retry so many times, but still no luck. same problem still exist.
when i put back my old memory card, the phone run as usual...no problem whatsoever...
anyone any idea? any suggestion? anything i did wrong?? or did i missed anything?
Hey!
I was on Froyomod, then I installed Ho!No! for a day, wiped everything, installed the Nandroid of the Arabic APAC version posted by Sileshn. I tried connecting my SD to my mac, but it couldnt, so I uninstalled task manager and it worked.
PROBLEM IS: However, one problem remains. ASTRO, TWEETDECK and WHATSAPP do not want to be moved to SD.
I tried deleting certain data from my sd and test, and my just have to format the entire SD. Any tips? These apps have to be moved due to the space they take!
Also, can I format an EXT partition on my SD card without having a memory card reader? Can I do it using the card while it is connecting to my phone?
Help!? Thanks

You will not be able to format the ext partition through your phone, as it does not have any customization options for formatting. You would need to use a memory card reader. You connected it to your Mac? Can't get a friend to loan you a memory card reader and use bootcamp or something for the partitioning tools for Sileshn's Ext tutorial?
Well after flashing anders' cm and flashing the boot, i started getting damaged sd card error while booted up. I've tried changing recovery, vold.fstab, hboot, kernel, radio; nothing works. When i boot into recovery and try to install from sd card it tells me there's an error mounting /sdcard but when i do usb storage it comes up on my computer so i don't think its a faulty sd card, any ideas? Thanks

Try flashing twrp recovery and then my SD card fix or another rom
Sent from my HTC Sensation using xda premium
I tried through twrp and it reads the sdcard but not the same one as the one that gets mounted on pc, i even tried to adb push the zip's into /sdcard which twrp read but when i tried to flash it it gave me the mounting error. Now i reinstalled your cm by pushing the zip into /data, i'm going to see if it doesn't work i'll flash another rom.
After installing your cm i installed the other cm build which gave the same error, then i pushed total senseless into /data and installed and when i booted up it gave me sd card error again but when i formatted from there it formatted sd card, now i booted into recovery again and sd card is working perfectly and i once again flashed the other cm build and all is working correctly. I guess the problem was that cm couldn't format my sd card which is weird because i had tried and succeeded to format it to fat32 through pc.
Also, do you have an eta for when you'll have working camera on your cm build? Thanks for the help

Good to hear it is working again. As my cm9 rom is only a port and onejay09 is working on a cm9 compiled from source the port will not get any update. It was only mean to be a sneak peak until someone compiled cm9

ok
Hi, I've installed ViperOne on my phone but now I have an issue. Apps no longer get installed to /sdcard, but are instead being installed to /data/app. Because of this, Chrome does not recognize my internal storage and simply tells me "No SD card" when downloading anything. The same applies to every other app that reads off of the SD card. I have already formatted my data, factory reset, wiped, and tried restorecon numerous times. Is there anything left for me to try?
Edit: Flashed stock rom. Apps are now installing to internal memory again. I'm presuming that this was just an issue with Viperone.
