ive installed a windows mobile 6.5 rom on my xperia and now it wont connect to my belkin wifi router it keeps telling me the key is wrong when i know it isnt
any help?
i had the same issue even with my P1i, and my x1 6.1 stock lol, so i removed the password and left it open, it connects perfectly

guys can you help me out that how do i make a stable connection of wifi on my wm6.5 imate jamin because when it's connected after 1 to 2 mins it starts searching again which causes connection lose during my work
it would be appriciated if anyone helps me because i'm stuck with this wifi problem

Hello Everyone,
I updated to the latest Rom on my Qtek 9100 tonight and some wired things have now happened to the phone.I can longer connect to my wireless router (I thought is was a wep key problem but I entered them 5 times) and the push email and data options are greyed out in the communications manager? I cannot activate the greyed out options.It does not seem to be the router because my Laptop and HTC Excalibur connect just fine.Anybody have any idea why this is happening.

I've got HTC Wizard (Era MDA Vario) (Era is T-Mobile in Poland) with Crossbow Underground ROM. It's a very good phone at all but i still reach problems with WiFi. Even when I'm 30 cm from wifi router (Linksys WRT-300N), when I turn the WiFi on, it can't connect to my network. When i go to "Network Cards" menu and select Connect manually, Wizard connects almost always. Can I set my Wizard to connect automatically to my network when I turn WiFi on? It could connect automatically when I had very old 1.XX original ROM.
My current Radio ROM is Cingular 2.25.11, i've already tried 2.47.11. Anybody has this problem or know how to solve it? Maybe it's just a simple registry change?

i also have a problem like that
mine connects automatically however, it losts connection after 10 sec. than it doesn't connect anymore. after soft-reset i can connect again

I recently upgraded to WM 6.1 (Dutty's Official WM6.1 5.2.19716 UC RTM).
The problem im having is that when im connected to my WIFI (wirelessly) and try to access the internet, my GPRS keeps trying to establish a connection.
I cannot seem to use my WIFI connection alone to surf or use the internet.
Can anyone pls help?

Did you try a soft reboot and then try it again? I am not having this problem.
Yes i tried soft rebooting but nothing. I cant understand why its happening
Anyway just FYI. i hard reseted and it works now.
I just got my diamond today and am having problems with the Wifi on the device. I connect to my wireless router which is using WPA-PSK (with TKIP) security which other WM6 devices can connect to without a problem. When i connect with the diamond, the connection last 10-15 seconds before dropping out and reconnecting after 30-60 seconds.
Is anyone else having this problem? has anyone discovered a fix?

I have had exact the same problem using HTC Touch, HTC Touch Diamond and HTC TyTN II. I have tried many things without success. No matter it is a secured network (WPA/PSK TKIP) or just open, the WIFI connection gets hanged after half a minute (or something). I think this is a wlan communication bug in HTC wlan adapter/driver which happens with some accesspoints.
What kind of router do you have? I have a D-Link DSL-2740B which is a Wirless Router/ADSL Modem with Wireless N1. I'll have to try it on some other routers and see what happens
Make sure your settings are for "the internet" and not "work". i had this same issue and this fixed it.
D-link are widely known to fu**-up wi-fi. Try a different router!

I have an unlocked AT&T Tilt (HTC TyTN II) and I too cannot hold a connection with any AP. I would love a solution to this issue so I can save on data charges and access a feature that is suppose to be available with this phone!
Same problem.
I have the same problem. The Internet is working less than 1 min then nothing.
Any solution until now (except a disconnect/connect procedure)?

I am using the HTC touch Diamond with the official 1.93 ROM.
I cannot connect to any internet networks like GPRS,3G,EDGE .... Eventho i see the icon that signalizes that this some internet network is in reach (like G for GPRS or E for EDGE) but when i click for example on weather update in touchflo 3d it doesnt connects. I cant even connect in any other programs so its not a problem with touchflo...I really dont know what to do...maybe it is because few days ago i installed a program for automatic disconecting from internet...It was called GB-SOFT-Tweak WM5. But I didnt really used it and I uninstalled it.
However i can connect to WIFI.
Please help me what to do...I really dont know anymore.

Try to set DHCP ip at wifi?
