Hello Everyone,
Sorry for posting again but I need more answers. I got a second hand G1 from craigslist. I dont know how old it is or what. I have att as my carrier and I called tmobile from my company phone to get it unlocked. But if I need repair I know ATT wont do it! But will htc do it? Can somone post pics of their htc replacement unit and the home screen on? Also can I get them to send me a rogers dream like the ones in canada or at least a dream with their smart dialer on it? Please let me know.
Thank You

If it's that urgent for you to get the answer, why didn't you just ask him?
He got an HTC branded rom or he just changed the splash screen...
he worked for cisco and didnt want to tell me i mean do u guys know where to get htc branded
You don't get HTC Wizard ROM. They sell it under the brand Qtek (Qtek 9100) during that period. He has a reason for not telling you, maybe he is a jerk that likes to keep you on your toes, jumping around in forum for answers. Dont fall for it.
Hello all,
I am not looking at how to revert to a stock ROM or anything. I just wanted to know what people have had luck with returning their device to HTC? I have an AT&T Tilt, but the front buttons are getting really loose, they slide all over the place now. Because of this, they are also unresponsive some times. I was just wondering what HTC does? Do they replace the unit, fix the front buttons, are you without a phone for awhile? Do they not do anything?
Just wondering what peoples experiences are. Does HTC even deal with the Tilt returns, since AT&T doesn't do warranty's? I should be covered, I bought it in November.
i think even if you buy from att there is still a year warranty on it because i know alltheway and few other members on here returned their phones and got either new or refurbished devices back from att. I know att does not sell insurance for tilt but warranty you still have i believe

Hi,
I think about getting an HTC Touch Diamond, it will arrive with t-mobile or o2 sim-lock. Is there any way to remove a sim-lock from an HTC Touch Diamond? If yes, please post me some links. I was searching the forums, but there is too much desinformation.
thanks in advance
take care,

Not even one answer till today? Can't believe that.
Look in the dev part. There's one who can help you out.
-edit- not for free though...
Our T-Mobile MDA devices came without a SIM lock here in the Netherlands.. The Vodafone branded one did however
TMO Germany seems to sell their's without SIMlock, too (mine came unlocked out of the box also...). Dunno about o2, though. there are a bunch of websites who are doing SIM unlocks via IMEI. will cost you something about 25 €s.
I bought a brand new looking htc diamond today and i think i screwed up big time. I am with T-mobile and when i got home i discovered gthat my diamond does not have place for a sim card. It says sprint on top of it, does that mean its not a comatible phone to T-mobile or is there a some sort of workaround? Would i be able to use it somehow on metropcs? Any help would be appreciated, hate tho think i just wasted the money on the phone that i will not abe able to use((
Not familiar with T-Mobile put it does sound like you purchase a CDMA Device which doesn't use the GSM (sim card) technology. There is no way around this other then reselling it and picking up the right device.
Could you post a photograph or a link to the brand of the phone? Is it HTC? Is a Diamond? Sure? It sounds a bit strange...
I never haven't seen a CDMA device so...
Where did you buy it from?
How hard is this?
He bought the Sprint CDMA HTC Diamond. It won't work on T-Mobile, so just resell it and purchase a GSM one.
yes your phone is not gsm
send it back or sell it on
Hi everyone,
I just bought a T-Mobile unlocked HTC HD7 on ebay to switch from my HTC Touch on Bell Canada's network. The thing is: it can't seem to find the network and when I call Bell, they told me that they can't see the phone trying to connect to their servers.
I have a brand new SIM card, activated in their store. The phone works well, I can connect to the Wifi and browse the web.
Any info? Thanks in advance.
Hey, well sorry to tell you but the tmobile HD7 isn't compatible with the Bell network..youd need a Bell, at&t, or Telstra HD7. This thread explains it...

It sucks mate but best option would be to throw it back on eBay and then buy a Bell one
Thanks a lot, I just tough every phones were the same.
I should have read a little more before buying it!
Not a problem, hope you can get yourself a Bell one..its a great phone and a refreshing OS to use.
