hi,
is there a way to turn off the display without to go into standby modus?because some online programms loss their connection in standby modus and i would like to have then all the time online...
thanx a lot
Talking about wifi turning off? These registry settings will prevent wifi from turning off when the screen is turned off. Apply the changes then soft reset your X1.
Keep WIFI on during suspend:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Power\State\Suspend\{98C5250D-C29A-4985-AE5F-AFE5367E5006}
-change (Default) DWORD Dec to 1
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Power\State\Resuming\{98C5250D-C29A-4985-AE5F-AFE5367E5006}
-change (Default) DWORD Dec to 1
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Power\State\Unattended\{98C5250D-C29A-4985-AE5F-AFE5367E5006}
-change (Default) DWORD Dec to 1
.....or you can download "advanced configuration tool" and do it with a single click on a checkbox.
thx a lot ill try both!

Hi all,
I'm using Schap's Advanced Config to tweak my TD. I've now come to the Power Management settings (or 'Power Managment', as Schap calls them...) and I was wondering what these different settings actually apply to, what the individual settings mean, and which are SAFE to turn off with normal use:
- SD Memory
- AsyncMac1
- Irsir1
- PPTP1
- L2TP1
Thx.
dunno wat they mean
but i turned off the first 4 and the battery life seems pretty good (together with TLR's ROM 3)
I'm using this cab file i created myself with the following Power Management settings.
HKLM\Comm\AsyncMac1\Parms
HKLM\Comm\PPTP1\Parms
HKLM\Comm\L2TP1\Parms
HKLM\Drivers\SDCARD\ClientDrivers\Class\MMC_Class
HKLM\Drivers\SDCARD\ClientDrivers\Class\NAND_Class
HKLM\Drivers\SDCARD\ClientDrivers\Class\SDMemory_Class
HKLM\Drivers\SDCARD\ClientDrivers\Class\SIM_Class
DisablePowerManagement set to 0 on all options
Interesting... even through I install your cab, when I enter Schap's Advanced Config after soft resetting the device, all the power management features still appear as "Enabled". Any explanation for this?

okay i must admit this thread confused the heck out of me.
i thought it's advisable to turn on power management for all of the above mentioned items.
when i first checked on a stock rom, these were all disabled, so i enabled them.
are you saying now that they should be disabled for improved battery life?
In Schap's Advanced Config under Power Management it says that disabling these settings will improve battery life.... but I don't know which settings are SAFE to turn of with normal use. That's why I started this thread.

No, it says enabling those settings will improve battery life.
"Enable or disable power managment for xyz. Power managment reduces power consumption when xyz is not used."
So I enabled all those settings, but I don't know if that changed anything at all.

The registry setting is: DisablePowerManagement
so if you want to enable power management (i guess you will, to extend battery life) you should set it to 0
I have no idea whether schaps advanced config sets this to 0 or 1 as i'm not using it.
Okay, I'll try that. Any reason why you haven't disabled "Irsir1"?

I just searched my registry for DisablePowerManagement, found those 7 options and set them to 0
Sorry... You're missing the point. I want to find out which settings actually conserve power.

Is there any tweak to change the default white LED duration for SMS notification? I am currently using AZTOR X2 ULTIMATE. The box is grayed out and default is 5 mins.
Search for this registry key in your mobile device:
Code:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A877D65B-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408}
Set the Value 'Options' to 13 (decimal).
Restart your device.
After that the box will not be longer grayed out and you can select a longe time period.

Hi cemgm,
When Touchflo3D is switched on, it takes over the entire Today screen and you cannot activate anything else.

try with touch flo to go to settings - all settings - connections - wiFI. Try there to make some changes. But the wiFi options should be ...
The situations, is this:
- I have disabled Touch Flow 3d
- If I go to put item in normal today screen in setting I don't see wireless menu (show operator name and wifi/Bluetooth status
have you understand?
I've installed Advanced Config on my HTC Touch Pro (WM6.1) and have set it up to auto lock after 25 seconds, which works fine. The problem, however, is that whenever it locks, the backlight is set to dim and it will not budge from there, unless I go into Windows' settings and manually readjust it up again. Then 25 seconds later, it locks and I'm back to square one. The only way I can get the default behaviour back again is doing a complete reset (i.e. clear storage to remove everything) and reinstall - but then I can't use autolock. I've tried the other backlight settings in Advanced Config and fiddling with every other Windows backlight setting I can find, but no joy.
Can anyone assist?
do a search for "dimbklinunlock" and see if that cab file fixes it for you.
Some have luck with it, but not mine. When mine dims, the only way to brighten it back up is to tap the on/off button.
Thanks, I tried that, but I can't find it anywhere (Google / Bing etc. also don't find it). Do you possibly have a link to the file? Unfortunately, the on/off routine doesn't work for me either.
What I really wanted from Advanced Config was the ability to Auto Keylock, but that causes the backlight problem. I've tried the application from Maniac, but that doesn't seem to work (probably because of the touchscreen; it works great on my old iMate SPJAS.
So, if anyone knows a way to get Auto Keylock to work using another application I can then just use Advanced Config for other functions.
Have you tried S2U2?
Hello everybody,
I've got a problem with navigation iGo 8.3 on HD2. When I wanna navigate, my display is going sleep after some time (about 10s). That interval is ok with normal use (in system), but not with navigation ofcourse. Is there any cab for "never sleeping iGo" please? I didn't found anything like that.... please help.
Thaks.
There's no cab file needed. just go to settings -> device settings -> power management -> change the default setting to "always on" and you're done.
